Movers scheduled at 8 am and did not show until 4 pm

I probably would not use them again.

This move was painful. First, the good: The folks from Leader's came out a couple of weeks before the move to take an inventory and give an estimate. That went well and their price was competitive. Everyone I dealt with at the company was polite. The company did respond in a timely manner to my damage claim and did send a check fairly soon after I submitted the final parts of my claim. They also did send out a contractor to fix the damage caused in the house we were vacating. Now, the bad: The moving crew showed up late and didn't actually get started until almost 10:00 (instead of the 8:00 time that was promised) in the morning. They were short one guy and didn't finish the move-out until 6:30 PM and didn't finish the unloading until 12:30 AM. The moving crew was careless with our belongings and with our house. They left numerous gouges and dings in the walls of the house we were vacating, which required a lot of drywall patching and repainting to fix. It was easy to pick out the damage as I had painted all of the walls a few weeks prior and they were in pristine condition. On multiple occasions I observed the movers banging furniture into walls. Most of the furniture that we moved has new damage. In the case of an office table, a caster which was welded to the table was broken off. There are major scratches and gouges on several other pieces, including two desks, a cabinet, a century-old dining room table, and a dresser. One gets the impression that furniture pads were not utilized. This crew didn't use straps to carry furniture and in a couple of cases, dresser drawers were dumped as they were not secured while carrying. The inexperience of this crew showed as I observed boxes being dropped on multiple occasions. I have never had a move in which the condition of the moving boxes was this bad at the end of it. I saw one member of the crew drop a box filled with my wife's shoes -- the box broke open and shoes were scattered all over the driveway. In two other instances, I observed boxes of records (music albums) being dumped onto the ground. After unpacking, we discovered one well-packed stoneware bowl that was broken. I'm not sure how they managed that as it was in a dish-pack box and was padded with an ample amount of bubble wrap. Even though almost all of the boxes were labeled with the destination room, a lot of them ended up in random places. I've never had to move as much stuff around after a move as I have with this experience. Also, several pieces of furniture were deposited into the wrong rooms, even though direction was provided. To summarize, the people of Leader's were polite, but also did not seem to work as quickly or as carefully as I expected from professional movers. Next time, I will probably try a different company.

We were very pleased with their service. The movers were polite and did a great job. Nothing was scratched or damaged in any way. Would definitely recommend this company to others!

This was our 8th commercial move in 39 years. Many of those moves were done by the "big guys". This was by far the best move we have ever experienced! On day one, Cody and Lex showed up on time to load our goods and were very efficient and professional at all times. On day two they arrived to unload on time and were joined by Anthony and Troy. The whole unloading process was done before lunch. The original estimate was based on a phone call rather than someone coming out to inventory what was to be moved and we did underestimate the number of boxes that were to be moved when the initial price quote was given. Leader's made an adjustment at the time of the move which increased the price slightly, about $300, but we felt the increase was very fair considering the box count went from 55 boxes to over 150. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Leader Moving and Storage Company again. Thanks guys!

The moving crew completed all work as promised and on time. Leading up to the move date, Leaders was very helpful and responsive to our questions and requests for boxes. The move was smooth and uneventful. The crew was careful and flexible.

Great job moving - very heavy piece- only negative was it was 3 hr later than appointment. They were good about communicating the delay though.

When I called to get a price, I requested the company come out and give me a price. They insisted it can be done over the phone. Unfortunately, the phone estimate was a bit off. That wasn't the real problem. The movers were very polite. When they first arrived, I questioned whether this was their first moving job. I continued to question that when the job took 13 hours and several things were broken, One major item being a desk. They put it in the basement, propped it up and didn't say anything. I left a review on their website, in which I never received a response.

All went well. My crew was professional and nothing was damaged in the process.

Movers arrived on time, laid down floor coverings, protected walls and stair rails, moved everything carefully and efficiently. It's all stored in their secured warehouse in a locked container. $257 to move everything. $52 per month for storage. These guys are professional movers and did a really good job. I pay the storage fee on a month by month basis

Scheduled for 10:30AM. Received a call at 11 AM saying they were running an hour behind. When they had not arrived by 1 PM, tried to call but got no answer. Tried several times after that. Driver called at 4 PM to say they were on the way. Truck arrived about 4:30 with three people, 2 of whom appeared to be inexperienced. Then they had a question about the pricing, but could not reach anyone to get an answer.

Excellent! Daniel, Sandro, and Zach from Leaders Moving & Storage were very professional and made sure that my furniture was moved without any damage. They were on-time, very courteous, and worked very quickly! Daniel took the time to explain the work order and charges up-front and checked and double-checked to make sure I was completely happy with the move. I am very happy with the Service Leaders Moving & Storage provided me and would highly recommend them!

It was HORRIBLE! I called to get an estimate & was asked a series of questions to determine what rooms, what kind of furniture (and how much), about how many boxes... the usual questions you'd expect. The gentleman that took my call was very nice & quickly emailed the pricing. After getting a few more estimates I called & scheduled my move. Fast forward to moving day. 3 men showed up. 2 immediately started with protection on the floor, door frame, etc.; the 3rd man went over the list of room, items to be moved and started counting boxes. Evidently this company charges by the item! Not by the hour like most other moving companies! They were to move my washer & dryer (at least these were on the list), but they don't disconnect them before moving ... I was not told this when I first called. They asked if I wanted my bed frame moved ...yes, it's part of the bed (which was on the list), they took off the foam mattress topper & tossed it in the closet 'oh, did you want us to move that too?' (yes it was part of the bed before you took it off.). As they were moving my mothers dresser, they took a good sized chip off of one of the legs ( approx 3" long X 3/4" wide), but instead of telling me they tossed the chip in another room hoping I wouldn't notice. As one of the men was disassembling an antique solid oak washstand, he broke the towel rack part off of the mirror and then had the nerve to tell me it was already broken! It was not, I put the mirror on myself 3 years ago & the washstand hadn't been moved in that time. All 3 men moved at a frenetic pace to load the truck, which made it difficult for me to watch them. I asked if they are taking certain items & each time the reply was "was it on the list?" I finally talked them into at least taking my lamps, even though they weren't on the list! but a lot of stuff was left behind because I was afraid that the cost would skyrocket! My daughter & I made 2 more trips that night with her large SUV & my car to get the rest of my things. But wait there's more! As we were emptying boxes & reorganizing stuff I noticed two decent chunks out of the top of an antique schoolhouse desk; I wasn't told about this one either. Moving is a stressful event & this company made it almost unbearable! I have filed claims regarding the damaged furniture (with a $100 deductible of course!) I gave them an overall rating of 'D'; that could go up or down depending on how well my claim is handled, how well and how fast my furniture is repaired. I can only hope that there are more things damaged that I haven't discovered yet. Hire again, Hell No!! This is the first time in over 10 years that an Angie's List service provider let me down.

We used Leaders for an office move that went better than I could have dreamed! Thanks to the wonderful group that helped us move, the entire crew was AWESOME! Thank you, Daniel Knuckles, Cameron McDerman, Lowell Lufkin, Keeosha Franklin, Marvin Mallory, Davonte Smith and J'meire Harris - I was so pleased with each one of you!! Each was very polite, professional and efficient! I have and will continue to rave about how fantastic our move went and look forward to recommending Leaders!

Outstanding service! From Jordan whom I worked with via email for my itemized list to the two men who moved us! It was raining all morning they were careful and covered our items. They were dressed nicely in uniformed golf shirts and were polite and professional through the entire process. I would highly recommend them!

She was happy with the work they did. She thought it was a fair price/ value. It was a good rate. They didn't break anything or scratch anything. They did much better than most movers do. They showed up when they said they would and did what the work they said they were going to do. If my daughter was moving again, she would probably use them again.

It was horrendous, we didn't settle well with them, and they didn't acknowledge their mistakes. It was not a happy experience. They have a lot of good reviews on Angie's List which, I found very irritating. We were ripped off. The biggest issue, we paid extra to have our queen, and king mattresses sealed and transported safely. When they arrived, they were not in any kind of wrapping at all. My mattress pad was hanging off the mattress and they brought it into the house that way. They said that they didn't do anything wrong, that's how they do it all the time. They offered to have it cleaned and inspected for bugs of any kind. I refused it and made them take them out of the house. I went and bought new mattresses because, we have a dog, and we would have had to stay at a hotel. They never did the inspection and never offered to get new mattresses. We were out $10,000, plus the $3,000 for the mattresses. It was a huge investment and a massive rip off. We had eight huge wardrobe boxes, and this is supposed to be a white glove service, that's what the extra money was for. They were supposed to empty those on delivery and take them away. Instead, they piled them into our walk-in closet, so we couldn't get into the closet to empty them. We had them pack for us. They did not label a single box, it was a total disaster. It made our move unpleasant, and uncomfortable. The stress was overwhelming. They didn't compensate us for their mess-up, other than little things that were damaged covered through the insurance. I would not recommend them. They did get the difficult things delivered OK. They were always willing to talk, but never did anything. There was on guy that was better than everyone else. We were a day late. There were some that were professional.

They were great, they showed up on time, and got the job done.

This was our second experience with Leaders, and we were again incredibly impressed with their level of professionalism, good attitude, and extreme care in moving our belongings. The lead mover, Danny, went above and beyond to make sure not only that everything was moved in a safe and careful manner, but also addressed any of our other requests that came up during the day pertaining to the move. His crew was hardworking and very efficient. We did not have one item damaged or chipped, and our hardwood floors were intact as well at the end of the day. We have already recommended them to anyone we know who is moving, and will continue to do so!

It went well. The movers arrived on time, were respectful and didn't harm any of my equipment. They were very friendly and even provided some advice for moving in the future.

This was an Angie's Deal! (up to $200. worth of moving for $99.) This moving company, Leaders, was the perfect solution. They are very professional, organized, friendly, and efficient. Daniel and Brandon were the men who did our moving project. I will request them again this fall, as we have another project, and we plan to use Leaders again.

Daniel, Ron, Eric, Jason provided excellent service during our move. They were punctual, friendly, and cared about making sure our items were transported with care. They did not nickel & dime us, and truly cared about our experience more than a couple of dollars for an extra stray box. They also packed our hanging items into wardrobe boxes which saved a lot of time and effort. There were only 2 or 3 items with very minor scratches. We also had a large sectional that needed to get to our 3rd floor living space. It took 2 attempts to get it up but they didn't give up and were able to do it.
