Jim Carver & Sons installed a large Florida Tile backsplash in my kitchen and the installation went very smoothly and it looks perfect. The installers were punctual, polite and professional - cleaning up once the job was complete. I was 100% satisfied and will consider them for my bathroom remodelings.

Arrived on time, removed toilet, laid plywood and then put in vinyl tile and replaced toilet. Did an excellent job. I have used this company before and would definetly use again.

Design and installation went as planned and within budget. Overall results very satisfactory.

I called to see what they charge per foot to instal crown molding. I explained that I had a 1955 house and that I wanted the living roo, dining room, and hallway done. The lady on the phone without measurement asked someone. When she returned to the phone she said, " Oh! he just did a job like that and it will be $2500.00". I asked if the crown molding was included for that price and she said no. Bad Business!

Everything went well. They were great to work with, friendly and professional- with a showroom close to our home. (They invited me to see the whole door at the show room, so did not have to just go by a picture and small sample.) We intend to use them for a second patio door this summer.

It was a great experience overall. After we have it painted, we will provide them with pictures. A major transformation. We plan to utilize their Handyman services for other projects throughout our home.

Watching Carver put our new door in was very Interesting. The rubber at the bottom of the door kept coming loose all the time and the door was drafty and was a metal door and was always cold . Carver even said that the bottom of the door was not insulated very well . I Couldn't believe all the problems our door had when we built our house. Carver put in a beautiful stain glass door with a sidelight. Put in better insulation and built the bottom of the door up where it should have been! Our living room is soooo much warmer and the stainglass door gave us more light. I can't say anything bad about the service or the workmenship that was put in our front door. Just love it! They did a fantastic job! Was a little sticker shocked at how much doors cost these days, but the warmth and coziness was well worth getting the new door put in. Would go back to Carver anytime!!!

We obtained an estimate from this company which we were very happy with and was professionally done.

Nothing to tell really. From beginning to end; everything was as expected. Quality of sub contractors and products were exceptional. If you are looking to remodel a kitchen, these are the guys to consider.

Sean is wonderful. I have used him before and will always request him if he is available. He is very quiet and very polite. He is easy to reach by cell and always calls 20 to 30 minutes before arriving. I am selling my house and wanted to change out the old light quickly, but wanted to make sure the new bathroom light could be turned on without turning on the fan. It was an upgrade since my old light did not have a fan. This made the operation more complicated. Sean had to go up into the attic and thread the new wiring down through the wall. He had to drill through a stud to make an opening large enough to get the wiring through. This accomplished, he installed the new light's electrical components and dry walled the ceiling around the new shape. He came back the next morning and sanded so it could be painted and put in the bulbs and installed the cover. In between he cleaned up all of the insulation and sawdust--leaving the bathroom spic and span! The new light looks great!

Love this company. A bit pricey but you get great quality and service. Will use them again.

The worker came out to look at the job possibility. He was prompt. He seemed negative about the job that I wanted completed, to replace bathroom countertop and an additional shelf. He almost seemed like he wanted to talk me out of getting it done. He said that he would call me the following week with an estimate and I never heard from him.

The whole experience was easy and the results wonderful!

They did an excellent job from the estimate through completion of the job. The doors had been problematic and drafty. Thorough, methodical and very professional assessment and recommendations for the estimate. The installation was quick and efficient, and very high quality. They also directed a lot of attention to details - in particular, they worked hard to match existing trim, and it worked very well. Six months later, the doors have performed very well from end of winter through hot summer; several doors are on direct "weather" side of building and very air- and water-tight.

They were really good. The estimate that they gave is the estimate that they stuck with. Their work ethic was incredible.

WE WENT TO OFFICE PICKED OUT GRANITE, SINK, FIXTURES, BACKSPLASH.WENT TO GRANITE SUPPLIER AND PICKED OUT SLAB OF GRANITETHEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND THE OLD COUNTER TOPS WERE REMOVED AND NEW INSTALLED IN A MATTER OF A FEW HOURS.ANOTHER GENTLEMAN ARRIVED INSTALLED PLUMBING AND STARTED BACKSPLASH.NEXT DAY BACKSPLASH COMPLETED AND THEY CLEANED UP.

They did a good job. We have had a couple of follow up issues that they have taken care of promptly. They stand behind their work .

We love the look of our house and so do our neighbor's. I got two other bids but went with Carver & Son's because they offered better quality for the money. Steve came out and explained the process and the product. I picked a couple of colors so they can put it in the computer along with pictures Steve took of my house. This is most helpful as it shows you what the house will look like with the colors you choose. Once the weather cooperated Jeff and his crew came out and started the transformation! Its been 8 months and its still looking good even after heavy rains, wind and ice. I love pulling in the driveway it looks like a new home and the compliments are nice to!! I need a new roof and will have Carver & Son's back to do the job. Yes, I would recommend them!

It went excellent. Although this isn't the big money job of a whole kitchen install or something, Jim Carver treated me like as if it was. He got someone out to look at the situation - and to FIX IT!! - that very same day. By doing so, he just gained a customer advocate who will tell others about their great service and who will use them the next time I need any remodeling work done. I could not be more pleased with the service from Jim Carver and Sons. There is a reason they have so many good ratings on Angie's List.

The job went well. It was probably the nicest experience we’ve had with the guys that came to do the installation at my house. They cleaned up wonderfully and there was nothing left. I didn't even have to vacuum the carpet after they left and I have a baby crawling around. There were no nails or dust, they cleaned it all up; it was wonderful. We would recommend them. We thought we had ordered a certain door handle from the marketing materials but it wasn't what we had thought when it arrived. We were kind of stuck with it but they were very nice and helpful. We liked them and felt that they did a really good job. Overall it was a really good experience and we just had the one snafu.

I highly recommend Jim Carver & Sons for kitchen renovation projects. The fact that they have their own employees (instead of sub-contractors) sets them aside from other contractors. Because of this, they are able to provide an accurate bid quickly, be precise in project start and finish dates, and finish the job efficiently and on time. Their workmanship is excellent. Dave Carver, who provided the bid and coordinated our project, is very meticulous and thorough in planning and made excellent suggestions throughout the process. The crew members ? Brian, Gary, and Dave, were professional, meticulous in their workmanship, and a pleasure to have around.

Steve Carver and the installers did an excellent job! We had several estimates and Steve was the only one who could figure out what we could replace with and the cost while he was in our home. Two other companies were stumped, because our door size was odd due to the age of the house. One company never got us an estimate and another company quoted us $1000.00 more for the exact same door. I also really liked that Steve was able to show us what the new door would look like on our house before we ordered it. He came out and took a picture of the front of our house and was then able to show us the two styles of doors that would work for us. One door looked really odd with our style of house and the French Door style looked incredible! It was really great being able to compare the door choices side by side. The installers were on time and completed the work earlier than expected. We love the new door and I especially like the internal blinds!

They removed old windows and installed replacement windows. They removed and reinstalled siding around the windows, due to a problem that they encountered while removing the old windows. They did good work and were pretty fast. They were good and treated us right. Later on down the road, we have called to replace a windows under warranty and they have responded quickly and honored their warranty and replaced the windows for free.

When anyone tears apart the kitchen, their life is completely disrupted. We have heard horror stories about the people we knew who hired the contractors, and they went months to months without a thing. It was started on time, and it was finished ahead of schedule. It was under budget and work was incredibly done. We had couple of problems afterwards, which was cleared up almost immediately. We were without a sink for two weeks. One of the reasons we were without the sink for two weeks was because I have heard unlike any other contractor who does kitchen remodeling, they put their own countertop and sink back in. We had water and dishwasher while we were waiting for the new countertop and sink to come in. The extra week or so of waiting, we actually had the dishwasher and the sink, which was a big deal.
