John is pretty busy, so I had to wait a few months. It was worth it, though - the cover looks great. Not cheap, but 1/3 the cost of replacing my cartridge if it gets damaged - again!

I just received the acrylic case to cover my chess set and ... IT IS AWESOME!!! Absolutely perfect, exceeds my expectations, and the price was more than fair. My wife is very impressed and is looking at things she would like a similar solution to. And when we get into our new house later this year and I get my tournament table and set out of storage so I have the right dimensions, I'll be ordering another. No more cats playing hide-Daddy's-expensive-chess-pieces!

I ordered an Acrylic turntable cover for my new audiophile turntable - Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Origin Live illustrious tone arm. I got the "floating cover", which sits on the top of the turntable plinth via 4 seating blocks. This cover is a beautiful work of art, literally could be used in an art museum display. it is very sturdy and extremely well finished. The pricing was very, very reasonable and I have never seen better or more secure packaging. Shipping was received as was promised and in a timely fashion. I found them online when I was looking to but something to protect my nice turntable from my cats jumping on it and destroying my cartridge. So I came across their website and I look on the website, and I did like what I saw, as far some of the pictures of his past work. So I went ahead and call him, he was very helpful on the phone and he took my measurements down. I called him 2 times to correct my own measurement which he is more than glad to do. It took a while, a month or so which I had no problem with, like I said, he was more than helpful on the phone with everything I needed. When I received it, It was packed almost a million dollar work of art, and a super heavy 50 pound resistant box layered. It was beautifully packed, it was cut to perfection, and a beautiful piece of work. Everything he does is hand made and made to order. I couldn't be happier with my turntable. He did a beautiful job, beautifully pack, and the price is extremely reasonable. If I need something again, I will definitely use John again from J Display Case.

Everything went better than expected. The dustcover (custom fitted to dimensions that I provided) is everything I expected. It's well made and fits my turntable like a glove. Equally important (to me) is how well packed the dustcover was for shipping. It was one of the best packed items I've received. Also, quick and responsive emails from them, which really made a great impression on me.

John of jdisplaycase@fuse.net crafted a beautiful plexiglass custom turntable cover for my Clearaudio Turntable which came without a cover. He listened carefully while we planned based on precise dimensions and produced on schedule what we had designed together. He gets highest praise for craftsmanship and making something both functional and beautiful on time at a reasonable cost.

Everything was perfect from the first contact to discussion of my needs, services and materials available, to construction methods. John took more than enough time to explain every phase of the transaction and actually made me feel like a friend. The end product was top quality, very reasonably priced, well packed and delivered safely. The only downside if there was one, was the length of time for manufacturing.
