My initial experience over the phone was professional and the estimate accurate. They honored my Angie's List coupon without question. The staff arrived on time and were very friendly - taking time to answer my questions. The finished carpets and chairs looked and smelled great. They fixed the dining room chairs right up and even my "cat spot" smells great. Thanks!

I bought one of their deals online because I only have one room with carpet and it just isn't worth spending hundreds of dollars to have that one little room cleaned. The did a great job and even got a stain out I didn't think they would be able to.

They were running ahead of schedule which was okay - I had a friend at my house who was able to let him in to start cleaning the carpets. I got caught in traffic and was later geting home than I expected. When I arrived home, I learned he had already left. I was shocked - I hadn't paid him yet. Just as I was about to call John Apke, he called me. I apologized for getting home late and said I couldn't believe they left before getting payment. He said he wasn't worried about geting payment - he said, "I know where you live". We had a chuckle, I had clean carpets. I would definitely use him again!!!

Pat arrived a couple of minutes early and checked out my rooms, asked about any concerns I had. He was very friendly and courteous. Once he began, the whole job (4 rooms, stairs) was completed in about 1 hour. The carpets look better than ever. Areas I had despaired of ever looking presentable are now fresh and clean. I would use them again and recommend to others.

I called the company, and spoke to the owner, Mr. Apke. From a description of what was required, he gave an immediate estimate which I considered fair. Two gentlemen arrived with their truck right on time. They were cleancut, well groomed and friendly. They completed the work promptly and took care not to leave any messy situation for us. They had a prepared invoice, and did not ask to change the estimate amount. I paid, and they left. In my opinion, businesses conducted like this should be recommended to others, and will survive hard times simply because they place customer satisfaction high on their priority list. A fair profit follows naturally from this attitude.

Upon contacting Apke Carpet Care, the owner, John Apke, who needed to do the estimate was unavailable. He returned the call the next day and gave me an estimate along with a date that they could get in to do the work. The estimate was very reasonable, and the time frame was quick. I warned John that we had been renting out the house for the past 2 years, and the carpets were not in good shape. My husband and I don't live in the Cincinnati area anymore, so we hadn't seen the carpets, but my mother-in-law told us that she thought they were ruined. I could not believe my eyes when we came into town a couple of weeks later. The carpets that we thought were ruined, look brand new! They did such a phenomenal job! I have been telling all of my friends and family to call Apke if they need their carpets cleaned. We were really impressed!

It went very well. They came, cleaned the carpet in two rooms in a timely manner and then left. The gentlemen were very nice and polite. This was done for my parents and they were very happy with the company and the results.

It didn't "go." That's the problem.

I bought this house in May 2012. The bedrooms, den, foyer, kitchen and bath areas are all hardwood/tile, but the living room, dining room, and huge basement are all carpeted. The carpet in the basement was horribly stained, as were the two stair cases and hallway to bedrooms. Joel called the day of the appointment to see if I wanted him to come out earlier than the appointment which was fine. He was here a good two hours. I didn't even look in the basement until the next day (carpet drying), and WOW what a difference. They really know how to clean carpets. Very professional, very courteous. I will use them again.
