Professional, on time and good job

The plumbers arrived promptly around 10am. Work was needed at the outdoor well before they could start working on the old water system indoors. They continued working on installing my new water tank till 6:30pm. Some plumbers arrived to help finish the job. Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. I could not have asked for a better team of gentlemen. I did have to call the following day for assistance. The water was running very slow. Kovella Plumbing sent out another plumber very quickly to correct the problem. The water filter had to be replaced again causing the slow water flow. I have two small negatives: The plumber did not go over what was accomplished. I had to ask what I need to do with turning valves on or off and if there's a sequence of steps. The other is they did not suggest what payment options I had. I had to ask if they had a payment plan. Once I asked these questions they were helpful explaining. All in all I give them a 5. Great company to work with. I would not hesitate hiring Novella Plumbing again for other projects. Linda Kadis 9/4/21.

Kobella replaced my furnace and central air conditioner, and they also coordinated with another company that restored the ductwork that was eroding under the slab of the main floor, allowing groundwater into the ducts. The estimator, Mike, spent time asking me questions about the existing system and what I wanted in the new system. He's also the one who suggested the other company to me. With the updates from both companies, the indoor air quality is better and there are no "hot zones" that would begin a few steps up the staircase and encompass the entire second floor like with the previous air conditioner. Two different crews (tear-down/replace) were necessary, due to the duct restoration work taking place in between, and both were thorough, courteous, and professional.

Andrew was great. He explained all issues, fixes and costs clearly. He was very thorough when detecting the source of the issue. Prompt and courteous.

The Plumbers were qualified and clean and respectful

Home owner Problem : Plugged up drain somewhere between basement floor and drain exit 350 feet in the back yard. Called after tremendous rain event. Phone handler very professional, listened and suggested a technician/ plumber in a couple of hours (same day) I was informed a service call would cost $65.00 refundable if project proceeded. Time set and phone and picture of Tech/ Plumber was e mailed. Showed up un time calling on the way to announce himself. Truck, Jason and equipment very professional, after a quick walk thru, Jason had boots, gloves, and we discussed the scope of work. His suggestion since floor was flooded and little volume was exiting we should send in the camera to see what was up. He quickly found the clog and the reason for the clog and in went the snake, what a beast I must say grinding and chewing out the clog. Jason released the snake and a mountain of water and roof granules and mud… Enough about my clog and just a bit more about Technician/ Plumber: Jason knowers how to treat customers, being curtious, knows and understands the equipment and conducts himself in a very professional and safe manner. He gets my vote for a job well done, the next time I need a plumber the first call is Kobella. Lastly the price was explained to me before starting and as the invoice was being written. In today’s world the cost really is your piece of mind that you received great service a very fair price. And ….. Jason we had another super soaker storm today and I went out to watch that four inch pipe Empty that drain pipe at full capacity, thank you for a great job.

Brad and Rob did a very good job servicing my furnace and air conditioner. They were both very knowledgeable in their field and took the time to explain what they did and how to correct any problem they may have found with my system. They gave me options on how to correct potential problems that could occur. I feel the service I received was well worth the price I paid.

On the morning of February 8th, 2021, I awoke to a cold house and instantly panicked. My furnace had stopped working and I went through one horrible senario after another - frozen pipes, ruined interior, etc. The outside temperature was in the single digits, and I assumed the inside temperature would soon match it. I Googled furnace repair and the first name on the list was Kobella's. They had the best rating and found out why. Mike T. and his partner Bobby replaced my furnace and got my heat back with a minimum of disruption to my daily life. Mike showed up at 8:30 am on the 8th, carefully examined the furnace, pronounced it DOA with a detailed explanation as to why, and suggested two different models of new furnaces. He managed to get the old furnace running for one more night and left me four space heaters to protect me and the house in case the furnace failed during the night. The next day Mike and Bobby showed up promptly at 8:30 pm and replaced the furnace, installed new duct work, sealed it, installed a new thermostat and showed me how to use it, all in about 5 hours. My house is toasty and I am happy. Thanks Mike and Bobby.

Justin and Nick arrived on time, were respectful, and were knowledgeable about how to address and fix the problem. I am so pleased with the quality of their work and their abilities.

I am writing this review 18 months after having purchased a new furnace and an A/C unit due to my previous (20-year-old) furnace having a bad blower fan. They came out and looked at my bad furnace the next day after I called, I decided on a new furnace and A/C unit, since the blower would cost $1000. They were able to get me on their schedule for 1 week later for the installation. I am very thankful it did not take too long since this was midsummer. The install went with one hitch... I was not told that they were downgrading the furnace and the A/C unit to a smaller one than the one I had. I was slightly apprehensive after finding out, basically, after all of the old equipment had already been ripped out. I figured the newer equipment would mean better efficiency, so, it would be probably ok. The biggest drawback was when it was turned on... The blower fan was less powerful than the old one, so, it did not move air on the second floor well. Being concerned about this, I spoke with the owner since I did not want to wait 3 months down the line to bring it up. He was great at explaining things how it was that my previous units were actually oversized for my house and that they would be adequate for the size of my house. My electric and gas bill did not go up due to having smaller units, which was another concern, and the house has been very comfortable, in fact better than what it was before. Overall, they have been a great company to work with for my furnace and the A/C unit replacement. I have had 2 free checkups from them (included in the replacement). One for the A/C and one for the furnace. Everyone has been very kind and courteous.
