Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning

Technician arrives right on time at the start of the service window and had the A/C repaired (minor fix, granted) quickly. He was friendly and informative and didn't treat me like a dumb homeowner who knews nothing about air conditioners (because I gave that vibe, I'm sure).

A/C was frozen over. 1st visit the person said your unit is too frozen over to say anything. Ball parked $500 for a Freon recharge and mentioned it might mean a new unit. Next day another man came out, did not look at the same areas as the first man, just started talking replacement right away. Checked out our furnace (I didn't ask him to) shine a light in it and said something about a cracked regulator of some kind and said we should get a new furnace also. This obviously raised a red flag and went with a second opinion. We ended up going with just a Freon recharge for significantly less and all is still fine. Yes, I am purposely writing this review 9 month after the visit because I wanted to give it time to see where their diagnostic abilities netted, I obliviously recommend you avoid Hauser based on my experience.

Greg and Steve were awesome. Came out to the house and ran several tests on my furnace to find possible issues with it not lighting. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, explaining the ins and outs of all the various questions and scenarios I had for them. They fixed the issue and made it clear what would be done by them if it popped back up and happened again. They were fantastic and am definitely going to recommend Hauser Air just because of their knowledge and expertise.

Originally they came out to the house on July 25th, and told us they could complete the work on Friday July 31st. But then we received a call on July 30th stating they could not complete the work on July 31st. So I rescheduled the work to be completed on August 14th. They called and said they would be out between 8-9am on August 24th, but the crew did not show up until around 10am. The crew worked until after 9pm that day but did not complete the installation of the Mitsubishi Electric Heating/Cooling system or the attic fan. So Hauser rescheduled to complete the project on August 25th. On August 25th they came out and completed the project. The Mitsubishi Electric Heating/Cooling system and the attic fan seem to be in good working condition, which is the most important thing. But I was pretty disappointed with the fact it took approximately 30 days longer than they originally quoted to complete the work. I was also disappointed that the crew left our house on both occasions without cleaning up after themselves. On August 14th the crew had drilled into our interior walls and when they left for the evening they left a lot of dust for me to clean-up. They also left screws and other debris in my yard and on my back patio. But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was after 9pm so I cleaned it up and did not complain. But then when they came back on August 25th they left insulation on the floor and left fingerprints on the ceiling of my daughter's nursery which I had to clean-up when I arrived home from work. I had expected that they would clean-up after themselves before leaving.

Waking up and realizing your air conditioning isn't work the day before a 90 degree Labor Day weekend is not a good feeling. I called Huaser and immediately reached a professional. The schedule window given was between 1 and 4PM. The technician showed up at approximately 4:30PM. Then came the rain. The technician sat in his truck until there was enough of a slow down in the rain to fix the air conditioner. Which was well after 5PM......on the Friday of a holiday weekend. When the rain came, I was sure the technician was going to tell me he needed to come back the next day. I felt it was very impressive that he didn't and performed the repair in the rain. The service was exceptional and professional. I definately recommend.

I struggle a bit giving negative remarks about Hauser heating and air as overall they did a pretty good job but they are more expensive than others for the same product and not willing to match pricing, I feel that they are a bit deceitful in the sales tactics and communication for the most part is really good, except when you need them to be flexible, then you hear nothing for days on end. Some of the issues that I encountered were I feel we were mis-led into belief that there were no ?hidden charges? and that everything would be installed to code. The plenum on the old system was too small and it was recommended that it be built to better fit the system, I assumed that this should have been included in the almost $6,000 we are paying for a new system, but rather no, we were charged an extra $500 to rebuild the plenum which I didn't really agree with, but felt no other choice, why would you install a brand new heating air system and have it go through the old ducting system? We had a quote from another company that was several hundre dollars less than what they were offering, but we elected to go with them because they could answer our questions and they did give us a 3 year service agreement and a surge protector for the outside unit. Shortly after Independence Day weekend they came out and installed the new ac/furnace combo. They were unable to completely hook up the furnace as the exchange is going to be ran outside the back of the house as opposed to up the chimney flue and the deck we were going to tear down was in the way of where they wanted to run the venting through, so the service guy said to check back when its done (be sure its before the cold weather kicks in) and we can get an appointment to come out and have them finish the job. After they left it we?d found that they did not keep any air flow in the basement (not a good thing for a fish room) and two of our electrical outlets are now gone, figured no problem, will have them fix those things when they come out to finish the installation on the furnace. I contacted our sales rep on August 17th. It is now September 4th and I still don?t have an appointment set for them to come back and finish the installation. I explained to them that we need a late afternoon appoint as we both work later and my husband would like to be there for the installation, neither of us have any extra time to take off work to do this. I?m also told no problem on getting the venting back into the basement, but they cant do anything about the electrical outlets that we are missing because they were on the old furnace and they can?t attach electrical outlets to the furnace (its against code). But she offered to install a new circuit panel and breaker for an additional $350.00. The last communication with them was on August 31st when she asked me what time we go into work in the mornings. ------------------------------------- Update on review. 9/8/15 - I finally got a message with my sales rep and she was able to get us an appointment that did not conflict with our work schedules. Which I really appreciate.

You cannot go wrong with Hauser! Greg had been out before and removed a clog from the furnace drain, water was coming out on the floor from the A/C. We were very happy with his service, but we noticed the water had started to pool on the floor again yesterday. I called hoping they could fit us in soon and Greg came within HOURS!! This time he found GROSS!! a dead mouse way back inside the drain pipe. He removed it and flushed out the drain again. It is working perfectly and he did not charge us this time because he said the mouse had to be there before but he could not see it where it was. We are just so happy the clog is gone and none of us had to see it. These people are top professionals, responsive and fair. We will never call anyone else for heating or AC problems. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Greg was professional and very friendly and informative. He called before coming and arrived even earlier than expected for the appointment. It took him very little time to find the problem. He did not try to fix or sell anything more than what was needed to solve the problem. We were very lucky to have called them because we had no idea what was causing the water leaking onto the floor from the A/C. He explained everything in a way that made sense. I would not hesitate to call Hauser again for any heating or A/C issue. Greg was awesome.

They were very thorough and well planned. When they completed the estimate they walked through our basement with me looking at the ducts that we wanted to move and gave us a review of the system as a whole (which a different company had already said could use some work). Hauser made some suggestions on what could be done and I expected the price to sky rocket. It didn't and seemed very reasonable. We had 2 other places come look at this job and Hauser was by far the best value. The completed the work in less than a day and it looks great. The new vents seem to perform well and with the other work they did we are getting better airflow in the entire house.

I set up appointment and they promised a time window and a call before the serviceman arrived. They were on time and I got a call 20 minutes before he arrived. Serviceman was prompt, polite, and professional. Being a 21 year old unit, I expected him to try to sell me a new AC system (like the company that serviced it 3 years ago) Instead, he recommended a simple, inexpensive repair and I was told that the unit otherwise looked good. I will call Hauser the next time I have an HVAC issue.

They were great. They were very punctual. They called immediately when I went online and set it up for the whole house humidifier. They were very clean and neat. They cleaned up everything after they finished with the installation. They even put booties on their feet when they came through the house so that they didn't brig anything in. They were very courteous and professional. It was a positive experience. They gave me a date and time but they called beforehand to say that they were en route and they were here absolutely on time but they called to let us know they were en route and at what time they would be here.

Every thing went as planned .

Hauser was very easy to deal with and offered all of their options with the first service call. Their technician, Jared, arrived promptly and was professional and very thorough in his work. The best service technician we have had since we moved here seven years ago. We bought a one year service contract because we want to have them back in the fall to have everything serviced for the winter months. Very glad we found them and will recommend to others.

Called at 9 am to try to get a water heater replaced. Received an email and a text message at 10 that they were on the way, with names of the technicians provided. By 10:15 am, Hauser had located one, picked up supplies, and were at the house. Lined all the carpet and basement stairs with sheets to contain any mess from removing the old one. Wore booties to keep house clean. Took the old one out, put the new one in, with expansion tank and drain pan, plumbing connections, electrical, and were done by noon. Stayed on site 30 minutes to verify it was heating properly. Cleaned up, invoice was exactly as quoted.

It went okay. It was fine. They did a good job. It's still working. They were pleasant.

A sales rep came to my house and explained options. He was courteous and informative. Ultimately I chose a whole house humidifier with an outdoor temperature sensor. The price seemed reasonable, but I didn't get any competitive bids. Installer came a week or so later and installed the unit. The installer was also professional, clean cut and I wasn't afraid he'd come back later to steal my stuff. Just an all around nice guy (Zac). The installation looks great and it works as anticipated. No more static and burning sinuses.

Technician was on time, replaced filters, reset service timers, cleaned and tuned unit, as required.

They check it over and everything was fine. They were fine. The repairman was courteous and knowledgeable.

It was a late Friday afternoon, and I called Hauser expecting them to be able to come out by next Tuesday. They promised someone out in a half hour, and he arrived within that time frame. The quote given was less expensive than the first company we contacted, and they were prompt and efficient with the installation of the new unit.

I met with Larry today and was pleasantly surprised by how honest, professional, and thorough he was. A true HONEST professional can be hard to find. I was ready for the worst even though this company has all great reviews I was waiting for the technician to try and sell me things I didn't need and at a high cost, but that didn't happen. I was in great hands. Larry made sure he explained everything to me along the way and made some suggestions as well to keep my air flow working properly. He is very outgoing and pleasant which made me feel more comfortable having him in my home working. I will definitely recommend this company and use their services again in the future. Punctual, very courteous. We just moved in at the beginning of November and did not have wi-fi thermostats, which we wanted. So, he was able to connect an unused wire to a common source at the unit. They work great and I couldn't be happier. He even did a little routine cleaning on our unit in preparation for the winter. It is nice to have found a good HVAC company so soon.

They are local to me. They have been very honest about what needs to be done and what doesnt need to be done. They can quickly recognize issues and they have been very helpful to me.

my furnace would not cut off called hauser heating. The tech came to my home said he thought it was a relay switch on my furnace, replaced the switch ,it fixed the problem, handed me a bill for 270.00 ipaid him and then he left.

Good, thermostat is messaging that air fitter needs replacement despite the faoct that it was replaced during the visit so I will need to follow up
