Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning

I'm very pleased with the service and the technician, Bill. After a problematic A/C installation over a year ago, and a repair call to another reputable HVAC company that resulted in an $800 quote, I needed a 2nd opinion. Hauser Air arrived promptly, looked at my A/C, diagnosed the problem (that should have been fixed by the first repairman from the other firm, and had it fixed and checked in under 45 minutes - for less than $150. All with a no-BS, straight talk about the problem and the fix. I am very pleased and will use them again.

Great professional service. Bill was able to quickly diagnose our system and had it up and running in no time. He also provided very useful information regarding additional diagnostics and repairs that may be needed a few years out. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend this company! He even put on foot covers when he came inside. He checked everything out and saw thee pressure was running high. Apparently my bushes were too close to the out side unit. Provided me very useful info on replacement when that would be needed a few years out. I will use them again. Highly recommend the company.

The only hiccup we had was that the original quote for repair was $1800 and after I got some competitive quotes, they lowered their estimate to $1200. The quality was excellent and the installer was very careful and clean. It did take several days to get the replacement motor.

Every time I have Hauser do work for me, whether at my home or at my rental property, I become even more impressed with their business, and their staff. Every experience I've had with them leaves me feeling like I've gotten more than I paid for.

The work done by Hauser Heating & Air Conditioning went very, very well. They pretty much installed the humidifier. They showed me the humidifier and they installed it in my HVAC system. They showed me how to operate it. They told me that I needed to change the filter once a year. That was the only thing I needed, pretty much, to do. Everything went very well, so I don't have anything on the bad side and I haven't really had any other service with them afterwards. I have had no issues with it.

Long story short, we had an HVAC company come out who was assigned to us by our home warranty company for our air conditioner that just stopped working. We had to wait until the next day (on the most humid day of the year so far, no less) for them to come out - they seemingly solved the problem quickly: attached a hard start to the capacitor and got it going. However, it wasn't working again the very next day. I called them back and left a message and never got a response for when they would come back. So I decided to try outside of my home warranty. The first company I called said that it was too late (I offered a floodlight) and said he'd put me on their schedule for the next day. I then called Hauser, and I am so glad I did. Chris called me back within 5 minutes of me calling their emergency line and said he was on his way. After 5 minutes of arriving, he correctly diagnosed the problem and then fixed it. I was so grateful, I went ahead and signed up for their service plan (which includes 3 tune-ups for the A/C and furnace every six months), and 15% off all parts and no overtime charges. The $200 for the service and part reflects that (that, and the $30 off coupon from Angie's List). I would absolutely call Hauser again in a heartbeat.

Everything went really well. Some follow-up work took a little longer than I expected but overall the guys done an excellent job. The crews were very polite and informative of the products being installed.

The technician was very professional and efficient. The AC coil had supposedly been previously replaced by a home owner warranty contract. Hauser was very supportive in helping me get the matter resolved.

Our experience with them was very good. They were prompt, professional and their service was fast. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I thought their pricing was fair, reasonable with competitors. They were very professional. The job-site was kept clean and they communicated throughout the entire day. My office is in home and I was working during the time and they were very respectful of that.

Everything went very well.. I took advantage of a terrific sale on the unit & installation cost. Originally it was $700. They had a sale on for $400. I was extremely pleased.

It was an excellent experience. From phone call requesting service to completed visit. The technician explained what was wrong with the air cleaner, what it would take to replace the parts and offered an alternative solution and why it would be a better choice.. The recommendation was much cheaper than what I was asking to have done (replace air cleaner cells) and is far more efficient. Additionally I asked about the whole house humidifier that had not received routine cleaning and maintenance since installed 7 years ago. Again, the technician explained the why and how and took care of it. I was so impressed that I purchased their service contract.

I live out of town but have a house that I lease out. I needed to have someone service the heating and ac. I really rely on the reviews on Angie's list. The company was prompt, did the service and then called me to discuss the finds. He was very professional. Informed me of a small leak coming from the whole house humidifier, that required a replacement part. He was able to make the repair then. I purchased the yearly service agreement. That was used towards the visit that day. I also mentioned Angie's list and received a small discount. My tenant was very impressed with the gentleman and his work. I feel much better about the servicing of the heating and air since I now have Hauser.

Mark and Larry were very courteous and friendly, helpful with information about price and function of a new furnace, great to work with and respectful of my time and home. they worked to complete the job in close to the time frame presented, and left my home in great condition after the job was done. I am especially grateful they could get to a furnace replacement within 24 hours on a very cold winter day.

That was a good experience. They came out and did what they said they would do. They were quick on the response time. They came out in a timely manner. It was professional service. I would recommend them. I was disappointed that the part only had a 1-year warranty on it.

DECIDED THE THERMOSTAT IS FAULTY AND NEEDS REPLACED. TRYING TO DECIDE IF BETTER TO REPLACE FURNACE DUE TO AGE AND CONDITION.

I found Hauser Heating on Angie's List and called them to get a second opinion on a repair estimate I had received from another heating/AC company. The original company that had given me the original estimate is a company that we have been loyal service agreement customers with for 8 years. I thought their quote was a bit high and was not completely understanding what needed repair, hence, I wanted a second opinion. Greg from Hauser Heating was AWESOME! He was prompt, professional, and discussed the part needing repair thoroughly. He not only explained the work that needed to be done, but showed me the problem. Involving me and showing me the problem is something the other company never did. I trusted Greg and appreciated his honesty. He then priced out the part needing replacement, accepted my Angie's List coupon for the service call, and priced out annual service agreement costs (upon my request). Replacing the part AND a year service agreement was far cheaper than the original company was going to charge me for repairs alone! He replaced the part in the same service call which was very convenient. Hauser Heating was professional, honest, has great customer service, and is fairly priced. They are always very fair with their pricing. All of their workers are very nice; they always put on footwear so they don’t track anything into our home. They’re also very prompt and always within their time window.

During our fall/winter routine check-up, the heat exchanger was found cracked creating a hazard (combustion exhaust CO and CO2 could be distributed inside the house). Our options were to replace the heat exchanger or replace the whole furnace. After a thorough trade study, we decided for the whole unit replacement - it provides us with a higher efficiency unit along with improvements like variable motor, more sophisticated humidity management... The crew was on-site 3 days after the diagnostic. Meanwhile, Hauser loaned us electric heater to help us survive the nights. The whole operation lasted less than a day. The crew of two was very knowledgeable and thorough. They paid a lot of attention at keeping our house clean which was not a small feat as they had to switch inside and outside all the time. I highly recommend Hauser. Their price was right, they had plenty of options to choose from, the work was done flawlessly.
