I must say I had the absolute worst experience with Lowe’s delivering and installing my fence. First, it took the longest time for someone to call me be to let me know when my material would be delivered and my fencing installed that I ended up calling to find out (and they had the information already). So I was told that my material would be delivered Thursday July 19th between 8am-12pm and my fence will be installed Monday July 23rd. Also that it will be a 1 day install. So I planned to have someone at my house Thursday. Thursday came and went, I tried calling Chelsea G. Who I was in contact with before about the project-left 2 voicemails. So Friday morning I call the Lowe’s store, spoke with a manager that advised me their truck broke down, all the customers were supposed to be called (obviously I was not) and that the truck was getting fixed and the material will be delivered that day or Saturday, then he said he would call be back to let me know which day. Again, no call so I had to call back. I spoke with a different person who told me that it will be delivered Saturday. I asked for a time and she told me that they would call with a 2hour timeframe. Saturday come and I get a call saying they are delivering my material and are 5 minutes away (so much for the 2hour time frame). I am out of the state at this time so luckily I have family that lives close to rush over to the house and move my car out of the driveway so the material can be delivered. Then Monday comes and no one shows up so I call Rolen Brothers fencing when they would be coming, they said the guys would be by in the afternoon to dig the holes and Tuesday to do the fencing. So they showed up around 5:30... and dung half the holes. They told me the city inspector would be by in the morning around 9:30/10 and they would be back for finish the rest of the holes before that and I was ok with that. So that’s exactly what happened and nothing else. No fencing was put up, just holes in my yard. So I call again wondering when everything is going to be finish since I was told it’s just a 1 day install and it’s been 2 days already. They said someone will be by Wednesday to put the poles up, they need 72 hours to cure and they would finish Saturday or Sunday. Wednesday they put the poles up. Saturday and Sunday pass-no one shows, no one calls. So I call AGAIN, Monday morning to see what’s going on and they give the excuse, the truck broke down that someone will be by to finish Tuesday at the latest. So Tuesday my fencing finally gets started. They finish Wednesday and now, I have left over material in my driveway (shown in the picture) 15 bags of concrete, 12 bags of gravel, left over fence. I also have wrappers from the fencing pieces, little bits of wire, part of a cut off pole, and some concrete they cut out my driveway just all over my yard. I’m very upset about this and don’t feel the job is competed. During this whole process No one has ever apologized for the inconvenience or offered anything above and beyond what was supposed to be completed in the first place. I spend my own money on this kind of service and wish I could get a refund and go thru someone else to do my fence but obviously I can’t. I would never recommend this company EVER and will tell everyone I know not to use them. How can a company treat their customers like this. It is ridiculous!

I would say it was a good price. Quality was good. They were very good for what they gave us, and their explainations and all. They were very good with us, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Purchased windows for replacement. When they came in (twice) they were wider in the middle than on either top or bottom. They sent them back to Pella twice. The installer kept insisting the windows were defective, but both Pella and Lowe's called and explained that they would be fine with shims, which are used anyway. I made sure that Lowe's sent a different installer, and everything went fine, we are happy with the windows. NOT happy with the original person who was supposed to install them. This took 5 months to get this project completed. Lowe's apologized and sent us a $200 gift card to help compensate for our long wait. I am pleased with Lowe's, although they kept dropping the ball on keeping in touch with us about the delays. But very unhappy with the (original)installer (Dwayne) who kept insisting there was a problem, and who did not call us back.
