Brenneman Heating and A/C

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. On April 25, 2025, I was charged $800 for an HVAC repair that included replacing the air handler motor and brackets. The invoice listed $575 for the motor and $140 for the brackets, but after checking online, I found the same motor available for $166.69 and the brackets for $37. That’s more than three times the actual cost — a serious overcharge. To make matters worse, the HVAC system was not functioning after the initial repair. I had to call them again, and a technician came back on Sunday to fix a wiring issue they missed during the first visit. So despite paying $800, the job was not completed properly the first time, and my system was down for two days. I contacted them requesting a partial refund, but received no meaningful response. I expected professional service and fair pricing, but unfortunately, this experience left me feeling overcharged and disregarded. I do not recommend this business and will be pursuing further action.

MR. BRENNEMAN INSTALLED BOTH AN AIR CONDITIONER AND FURNACE IN MY HOME LAST YEAR, AND AT THAT TIME HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND DID A GOOD JOB IN THE INSTALLATION OF MY AC/FURNACE.    HE DID A GREAT PRESENTATION ON WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO, AND I PICKED  HIM FROM TWO OTHER COMPANIES FOR THE JOB.  JUST LAST TUESDAY I STARTED MY AC UP AGAIN, AND NOTICED THAT IT WAS PUTTING OUT HOT AIR.  I CALLED MR. BRENNEMAN'S SHOP, AND HE CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY, FIXED THE PROBLEM, AND ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NO COMMITMENT TO FIX IT FOR FREE............HE DID SO......HE IS A VERY HONEST AND OUTSTANDING TECHNICIAN.  I EXPECTED TO PAY FOR THE LABOR, BUT MR BRENNEMAN BACKED UP HIS WORK AND PRODUCT.  I WOULD RECOMMEND HIS FOR ANY FUTURE JOB TO ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THE NEED OF A GOOD AC AND FURNACE UNIT.

Mr Brenneman showed up at the appointed time, in which he estimated that it would take two days to finish his project.  He and his assistant were very curtious, professional, and hard workers.  He spent each and every minute working to ensure that my unit was installed in the best professional way.  I was surprised at how hard he worked, and finished the installation in one day, instead of the two day period.  His prices were reasonable, and the price he quoted was the price I paid, with no extra fees.  He was very professional in solving any problems that came up (old chimley had some problems in installing a liner, but without any hesitation he solved the problem).  I plan to use Mr Brenneman for the next 20 years in the maintenance and upkeep of this unit.  I would hire him for any job that is listed on his web site.  GOOD JOB MR. BRENNEMAN!

The furnace in my rental property was getting old, and needed to be replaced. I shopped around, and found Brenneman was ~20% less than big name for same brand name furnace. He came on time and nicely installed the furnace. The big name company often charges for just visiting besides labor and materials, Brenneman only charge for labor, which is less expensive than big name, and materials. I recommend Brenneman for everybody for furnace installation and repair.

THE PEOPLE WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK. WHEN THEY GOT TO MY HOUSE, THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND GOT IT DONE FAST. THEY WERE EXCELLENT.
