A 1 Appliance Service

Repair was done well - root cause identified and new parts installed. Area was cleaned. Repairman was courteous and competent. Price exceeded the value of the appliance - I should have been warned about that.

I called for a dishwasher that was not dissolving detergent correctly. They were able to send someone out the next day. Glen was the technician who came - he was on time, called ahead, was courteous and worked very hard. He wanted to replace a part but did not have it so he cleaned out every part that dispenses water since it was clogged. It looked like a great deal of work but he did it very efficiently. He even called back after he had left to give me some tips he had thought of in case it clogs again. It was a great experience and I would definitely call them again.

I thought their price was too high so I did the work myself.  I probably saved about $150 by doing it myself.  He was prompt.  He did a good job at checking it out and didn't leave a mess.

Danny (the service man) explained up front the cost of a drain pump clean out ($145) and a new pump ($300+), and asked if he should proceed.  He opened up the front of the washer, the drain pump housing, and cleared out a big ball of rubber backing from a throw rug.  He ran the washer a couple of times to clear out more gunk, then put it all back together.
He was pleasant, got wet and didn't get upset or curse, and was clearly knowledgeable about the appliance. I really don;t know if those prices are high or low, but he was prompt (same day), and professional.

I?ve had them come out twice for my refrigerator as well. The dishwasher was quite expensive because it was an extensive repair. I would say the price was reasonable but I didn't compare them. The repairmen were very nice and the response to my call was quick. I would recommend them.

My overall experience of working with A-1 Appliance Service has been great. In the past, he has worked on both my washer and dryer and also my previous refrigerator.

He was very efficient, clear, and did everything he said he would. He was in and out and had me operational within a day.

Turned out very well. We are very pleased. He arrived on time, was clean and professional.

We had to call them back and they came out the very next day at no charge, even though it was an unrelated problem.
