called and came the same day. Tom the technician was very professional and explained all the charges and went into detail about what he was going to do. Very neat and showed concern that we were happy with the service.

Great experience see above for story but, I called them I asked for an appointment they gave me the day I asked for, hooked 2 kitchen sinks, 1 bathroom vanity/with sink and toilet bowl, slop sink, new outside spicket It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely use them again.

He came out to give me an estimate. The price he gave me was way beyond what I thought was reasonable.

Everything went very well. I had tried calling the plumber that I had used previously and I had left several messages and had not gotten a call back. I had looked in Angie's list and I chose Sa Manzo as I had previously lived in Wantagh and one of the people I play Mah Jongg with now is a neighbor of the Manzo's so I knew they were reliable. When I called to make the appointment, it was Mrs. Manzo who does that and I told her that I had lived in Wantagh and her neighbor that I knew. She immediately set up the appointment for me. The day of the appointment, Mrs. Manzo called and said that they had finished a call earlier than expected and wanted to know if they could come to me earlier and I said that would be fine. EverythingMr. Manzo and his son arrived. They immediately put on shoes coverings before entering my home. This was the first time I had repair people do that. I explained the problem to Mr Manzo and as I explained above he went into the bathroom and analyzed it and said it was the shower head and he could replace it. He told me what it would cost. He told me I would get a discount. There was either a senior discount, an Angie's list discount or a first time customer discount. He gave me the highest discount. Everything was very professional and I was very pleased with the work. He was right with his analysis as I have had not problem since he installed the new shower head.

I saw the flashy trucks with the gator on them and thought to try him out. The test took 15 mins, after a "slight leak" was found at the same fitting they applied the test, it passed. I was then charged $1200 for the entire half hour process. The lead plumber was rude and they left a sour impression (also an immediate family member to the owner of the company). The next day I had discovered the same service should have cost me $400 to $600 at the most. Due to being a new home owner at the time, they took advantage of me. I will not recommend them to anyone.

The service was efficient except that he didn't check the stopper before finishing the job. I had to screw on the cap and try to connect the stopper to the rod myself...a small thing and I didn't have to call him back to correct it but I wish it had been checked before he completed the job.

Sal has been very accomodating of our project and the quality of work has been great. The guys are very knowlegable and go out of their way to run the pipes correctly without compromizing any structure. We are looking forward to them coming back for phase 2 of the project.

I did require service on a Sunday so expected to pay more but guy who came insisted when he was reassembling sink had to use all new parts even though all parts were less then 2 yrs old. The trap and sink drain were in fine shape and could have been reused. They had to return to tighten a loose fitting that normally I would have done but after paying $550 for 1 hr work 2 days before I was not touching it.

They were on time, friendly, went right to work, checked out the sink, gave us a price, and fixed the sink promptly.

A big holiday weekend and we wake up to find our garbage diposal has fallen off due to rot and rust from poor installation 4 years ago. Called Sal Manzo for 3rd of 4th time in last 2 years and they sent Michael, who has been to our home before. Showed up on time, diagnosed problem, quoted cost, had a new disposal ON THE TRUCK, installed new unit all within an hour. Holiday weekend saved. I just thank my Wife for not running the dishwasher the night before, and than Michael of Sal manzo for saving our holiday weekend!

I've used this company many times. I tried using a handyman who I hadn't used before for a plumbing job because he had a "Big Deal" coupon and good reviews on Angie's List. It was a big mistake - they made a mess of the job. I had to call Sal Manzo Plumbing for help and they came the same day and fixed everything in just over an hour. They had to undo the handyman's mistakes and then do the work properly. Manzo cost $600 and the handyman was going to do for $250. Sometimes it's really true that you get what you pay for. The short version- Sal Manzo is pricey but they know what they are doing and that's the important part.

Sal Manzo plumbing was outstanding. They were punctual, professional, and performed all work with care and intellect. I would hire again and recommend in a heartbeat. They are very ethical and decent. They are honest and are considerate of elderly individuals who need work done in their home.

I had clogged the U-shaped drain pipe on an attic bathroom sink with some liquid soap that hardened. Draino didn't work so I tried to open the pipe myself to clean it out but it was so old that it just tore apart when I turned it with a wrench. This was on a Friday night. Called Sal Manzo's Saturday morning after seeing them on Angie's List and noticing they were located one town away. Explained the problem and the friendly dispatcher told me I could expect a serviceman between 4 and 6 pm, and that there would be a $50 charge to diagnose the problem, and it would be deducted from the bill if we agreed to have the work done. At 4 pm the dispatcher called to inform me the serviceman was running late from a flooded house job and would be here after 6. The truck arrived at 6:30 and we were introduced to Vinny R. and his son, who were professional and friendly. They put plastic covers over their shoes when entering the house so as not to track dirty water from the previous job. This is my 88-year-old mom's house and I live with her as a caretaker as she is confined to a wheelchair. Vinny diagnosed the situation and drew up a price of $440, and offered a %10 senior citizen discount without us even requesting it. He was ready to do the job right then, not come back another day - an impressive gesture as he obviously had already put in a long day. We agreed to the price as it was about what we were expecting. We know plumbing work isn't cheap and we weren't about to spend all day making calls to save $50; we were happy to have someone who was eager to work and who appeared professional and knowledgeable. The job took about 90 minutes and everything was cleaned up afterwards. My mom was so happy she had Vinny look at the bathroom sink on the main floor as the pipe there is all rusty (house dates to the 1940's) and he advised her to replace the whole unit with a new vanity, top and faucet from Home Depot or a similar store, and he would be able to install it. A smaller sink would allow my mom better access to get into the bathroom with the wheelchair so I am looking around for one now. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Overall they were professional. But they charge money to just come and give an estimate. If you decide to have them do the work they reduce the price of this estimate amount. You cannot get a good idea of how much it is going to cost. The plumber did not use a long enough snake the first time. After doing this, the drain was still not flowing. Then he had to open the main house trap and run a longer snake. He charged an additional amount to open the main house trap.

They gave me an estimate which seemed fair at the time and i needed the work done so I had them do it. I probably could have had the same work done for $250 less but they did a good job so i cant complain too much. Only complaint I did have is that they removed my radiator covers to flush the system and didn't put them back on properly. In one room they left it off completely. and in the other room they were just leaned against the radiators.

He seemed very reputable, and he gave me a good estimate. He was recommended by somebody else. They are very good at clean-up. They try to fix whatever problems you have.

We are repeat customers of Sal Manzo Plumbing because of their expertise, professionalism, and cleanliness (they wear shoe covers in the house to keep your floors clean!). On some jobs that they have done, the price was higher than we expected, but the additional work that they found was necessary to do was always explained to us, and in the end the problem was fixed correctly and did not occur again.

They are always on time, professional, and get the job done. They do good work.

The plumbing appears to be according to code, and properly done. The fellow who did the job, Carmine, was okay. They left a bit of a mess, and didn't clean up well. The appointment was to be between 8 and 10am They showed up after 10am.

The estimate was too high, therefore I paid $54 for a piece of paper!

They were prompt, professional, courteous, and clean. They fixed the problem.

THIS PLUMBER IS VERY GOOD WITH THE SERVICES HE PROVIDES TO THE PUBLIC. HE IS HONEST AND DOES THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. I HAVE USED HIM FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND I AM VERY SATISFIED.
