We had a partially blocked drain on our upstairs bath sink due to shaving cream, and the technician came over and did the promised whole house inspection, then tackled the sink. He unscrewed the U pipe and attempted to use a manual snake to unclog the slow drain. It was stubborn and he did not want to take a chance on damaging the old galvanized pipe down the line. We continued using a liquid enzyme product for two weeks on the drain and then hired a local drain specialist who was able to unclog the now softened material with his electric snake. I thank Sam's employee for analyzing the problem for us and helping us figure out how to solve it without damaging our old pipes.

I was not home when the 2 gentleman arrived. My daughter says they were there all of 10 minutes stating everything looked fine. However, I have dampness under bathroom sink and I'm trying to figure out where and why it's occurring. There was no information left for me the home owner, to even verify they had been there and what they did . This was my 1st time using Angie's List and I was very disappointed.

I only spoke with them on the phone, but they tried to be helpful and were very nice.

They did not have the tool that was needed to complete the job. They left the house for an hour (they did not charge us for that hour) to get the tool and then completed the job. It was not an easy job. It was time consuming. We would use them again.

Two young men came. I tried to get some answers on my commode questions. They said, on the one I feel has something lodged in the fixture, that they would just change if it there was something there. I would not want to do this as it was expensive. They really did not address my other concerns on the other two. That was the only reason I wanted this deal. Mission was not accomplished at all. I also felt that they couldn't wait to leave. It was a Saturday morning.

the technician was on time, professional and courteous. Unfortunately for me, he found a potential problem in my 8 year old heating system and indicated that it would need a rather expensive repair or that I needed to replace my whole gas furnace. He did point out to me where the damage was. They did have the manufacturer contact me to give me a price on the repair part but my labor charges would be separate. At the present time, I am doing nothing and hoping that the furnace does not break down mid winter. They were most accommodating when I had to change my scheduled date of service more than once due to the illness of a family member and I do greatly appreciate that.

Ad was misleading. It said it included a service call. I was contacted by sams plumbing and told that they "knew" ad was misleading but they weren't going to honor it anyway. I wound up canceling the appointment. I called Angie's list to try and get a refund. I was on hold for 15 minutes before someone came to phone. Representative finally came to phone and said she would email me a form I had to fill out in order to get refund. I never received that email. I have tried calling back several times but I am always on hold and I have to hang up. Overall a miserable experience.

I was having problems with my hot water tank. Unfortunately my offer had expired. They honored the offer anyway and waived the service call fee. They were on time, diagnosed the problem, went and got the parts and fixed the problem in a few hours. The 2 man crew was very knowledgeable, thorough, and neat. They even addressed some other issues they noticed, fixed them and didn't charge me an additional fee. It has been so hard for me to find a plumber that I trust and has great skills. These guys were great !!!

The 2 gentlemen called before they came and they were on time. I just moved in this house about 2 years and need furnace tune up. They inspected and cleaned the furnace. they told me mine furnace is only 12 years old and about 80% efficient. They seemed to be knowledgeable about their works. I would hire them again.

Our 15 year old gas heating unit would start, I tried lighting the pilot but it wouldn't stay on. We called SAM Plumbing Saturday around noon and he arrived around 3:00pm. He was professional and explained to us along the way what was going on. He first tried to light the pilot which did not work although he tried many times. So he replaced the thermocouple and the pilot lit but did not say lit. He explained that it needed a new gas valve and that he didn't have the right one on the truck. He said he would pick a new one up Sunday morning and be back by 8:30 am to install. Sunday morning he called at 8:15 saying he was on his way. He arrived promptly and installed the new valve and tested it many ways with our two zone heating to make sure all was working properly. The heating has been working better than before. I would definitely use Sam again, for their promptness, professionalism, and expertise.

My experience with them was excellent; it was good. He was very pleasant and he explained what he was doing. He was very friendly and very professional at the same time. He was prompt and on time.

Two-fold Big Deal offered a $39.00 service call to address various plumbing issues in which labor was specifically listed as covered, PLUS a whole house plumbing inspection. I had a factory repair part to be installed on a kitchen faucet, and was told by the vendor upon arrival that there would be an additional labor fee of $95.00. This was a quick connect diverter valve that required no tools. I objected and declined any and all service.

It went very well. He showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently.When he checked the chimney flue, he found a squirrel's nest at the bottom and there was $79 charge to clean it out. That was in addition to the original $89 paid.bringing the total bill to $168. Other than that, it was a very satisfactory experience.

The plumber never came and never called. When I finally reached the owner Steve Morroun to inquire about the missing service call, he responded with a very rude attitude. He said that they don't service the Great Neck area where I live and that my wife called to cancel the appointment. My wife never called and the name that Mr Morroun cited as my wife was in fact not my wife. In addition, if they do not service my area, why did they make the arrangement in the first place. On Angies List, it lists their service areas as Suffolk and Nassau County.

Corrected water leak from A/C unit and verified central A/C was functioning properly.

Very pleasant and efficient. Took his time and made sure everything worked well.

I was expecting more. He came and looked at it. All he did was clean it up a little bit. There is an issue with the furnace and it needed further repair. However, he still has not contacted me back about it.

My experience with them was very good. He was very cooperative, helpful, and went out of his way to make things right. There were no additional charges for his services as offered in the bid deal.

They were here first thing this morning. Friendly and professional. They provided me with answers to my questions, I was very pleased with my first experience with Angies List.

The deal was sold out, but he did contact me and was very helpful. He was extremely busy but did offer to check out the air conditioner if needed.

I have to apologize, it was my error and I had mixed up the date when this service was to be performed, two gentleman came to my home on the date agreed, they were cordial and did there job of inspecting my furnace.

Service man was on time, friendly, worked without interruption, completed job in reasonable amount of time, we felt that he was well qualified and we trusted him.

Sized-up house visually and gave me an estimate; also has 12 month interest free financing available. If his units had higher BTUs I would have strongly considered doing business with him right then and there.

Very well. He even went as far as climbing a ladder and with a shop Vac to suck out debris which was clogging the water exhaust. He went above and beyond...top notch service!

I found them to be very easy to work with, very clean, they did a great job. I would use them again in the future. I would highly recommend them.
