The guys showed up on time & did a very thorough clean-up & check of our A/C system & changed the filters. The job was rapidly & efficiently performed & I was very happy with the work.

It went okay. I have two zones and he came and said that I have to pay him another $99 for him to look at the second system which I thought that was bogus and crazy but I wanted the inspection of both so he did it and I paid another $99. I paid double of what I thought I was paying for but I actually liked the guy. It was the owner who came and I liked him in general but I don't think it was fair that I paid double the price. I thought the deal was misleading. He came when he said he was gonna come. He gave me prices of potentially changing my old system and prices were very high but I don't know the market and maybe that's the price.

Everything went well. I have no complaints at all. They were very professional.

In addition to checking compressor' air handler and temperatures, they opened all the ceiling vents, changed the air filter and trimmed shrubbery around compressor.

Steve was on time, very professional and friendly.

My central A/C was not blowing cold air late last year. So I waited this year to do the service that Angie offered for Spring tune up for $65. Steve called me that he would like to come to my house a couple hours early because he was in the neighborhood. So, he showed up and get to work immediately. My initial thought that I have to replace the complete AC system, but Steve checked out the outside unit and he said the unit is in good condition. Then he checked the circuit breaker and he told me that the circuit breaker was tripped so there no need to replace the system for now. He also offered a couple estimates for future works if I needed to replace either the complete system or just the outside AC unit. And he also explained the pros and cons of the costs of both. I would definitely hire them again or any repairs in the future.

I mentioned to Steve that the A/C system was making a howling noise when it started up. He said that the Fan Motor bearings will sometimes make that noise when it's started after laying dormant for a few months but should go away. Sure enough, he was right. Someone else could have sold me on replacing the fan. He also checked the air handler located in the basement . Very honest guy.

They promptly contacted me; I had no issue getting a Saturday appointment. I was called in advance of their visit to confirm the appointment. The technician came and serviced the unit. He was a pleasant chap, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Not well. I used this company for my gas burner tune up Dec. 2013 and they were very nice. They left a big sticker on my burner for 24 hour emergency service and also verbally told me they provide that if I ever need it. I just called them (one year later) because I have no heat. I mentioned that I originally found them on Angie's List and used them before and that I did not have heat. The man told me they only come during the day. I questioned why they say they have 24 hours emergency service and he said they do advertise that but do not do that!!!!!!! I told him I work during the day and it was very cold in my house now. He said he would come tomorrow and I could take it or leave it! I told him I would never use his company again. I must say that this is the first contractor from Angie's List I have had a problem with. This company outright has false advertising and admitted it.

1. Came, reviewed, despite the promises failed to provide the estimate. 2. The person that answers the phone has nothing to do with the company, she just takes your info and says they would call back.

They showed up promptly and fixed the issue within minutes. I would use them again and recommended them to others.

Was prompt and did good job. Excellent customer service. Problem with toilet was fixed an didn't happen again.

Steve was on time and did a great job! Completed the A/C tune up, answered all of my questions and he made some suggestions on how we can remove more allergens from the air in our home. Price included service call and some freon.

They were very nice, on time, courteous and I would use them again.

On a Friday morning in March this year I woke up to a very chilly house. I called the plumber who initially did the conversion six months ago of my heating system from oil heat to gas. Frank McIntosh of McIntosh Plumbing & Heating responded in the early evening & explained that my boiler was clogged with soot. He called another plumber from Sam's Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning (also known as Sam Mechanical) whom he knew would respond on a Saturday with the right equipment to clean out the boiler. Steve Morroun of Sam Mechanical called that Friday evening to say he will have someone at my home in the early AM; subsequent Walter was at my home at 9:30 AM. He did the job of cleaning out the boiler plates but after that the burner would not fire up. Following a series of phone calls BTW Walter & Steve, the boiler started to work. Shortly afterwards, Mr. Morroun came to my home in Centereach to make sure everything was working good. After this incident, I would highly recommend Sam's Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning for any plumbing needs.

I recently bought the house, he walked through and help me better understand my plumbing system. The service was fine. There was something I wanted done but he said it would cost more than I anticipated so I did not move forward with the service.

They did a good job and I was very pleased.

I purchased deal and have the time to have it done and was told it had expired. Deal states 6 months and it's been 4. If they can't honor the deal I have no trust in getting the service at this point.

From my initial meeting with Steven the owner, my comfort level with this company was on high. They are courteous and help you as the consumer to understand the product you are purchasing to meet your needs. During my initial consult, I was made aware of additional repairs that I may need, but no pressure to purchase. On the day of the install, the installers arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They kept me informed and left my house spotless. I would highly recommend this company and they have definitely found a new long term customer.

THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THE ANGIES LIST SPECIAL PRICE WHEN I CALLED THEM FOR SERVICE.

We're supposed to return and install a new filtering system. Responded finally after a few calls to remind of agreement, at which point I had decided to have another plumbing service complete it.

Water heater, humidifier, air filtration and checked heating system.

Project went well had an issue which was promptly corrected the next day. Excellent service will use again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. There were no additional charges. It worked well. They were very thorough and I was happy with the service. I would recommend them. I would definitely use them again.
