Description of Work: I was approached by a salesman who was installing windows in the neighborhood. I was actually interested in having new windows installed but when I went to schedule the appointment the man taking the appointment info over the phone was very pushy about my partner being present for the visit. I explained that I am the home owner and the only one paying for the windows but they were insanely rude about my partner having to be there for the visit. I explained, again, that I am the home owner and that my partner does not care about the windows. I feel as though this is was a sexist remark and I will be taking my money elsewhere. Pro tip for Andersen- listen to the person with the checkbook- no matter their ***.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced 5 windows in front of house, the originals were crank out windows and were replaced with regular windows with screens. The new windows had an e-rating of 20 and were triple paned to help keep out the cold and keep in the warmth. Started at 10am and were done and cleaned up by 3pm. Very professional and were followed up by a supervisor three days later to make sure the work was done to our specifications.

Description of Work: We had them price seven new windows plus installation...The price was outrageous ($17000)...The visit to my home took over four hours and then he made phone calls to his supervisor in my home trying to get a better price which he was unable to get done...Then two weeks later his supervisor came and stayed about two hours trying to the sale done...In the process he literally threw his salesperson under the bus....We will never do business with this company...

Description of Work: They came out to give me an estimate on 22 replacement windows. After a two and half hour presentation, I was provided with an insulting quote of $36,549!!! When I told the person that I expected the quote to be in the neighborhood of $12,000 he laughed at me! Then he proceeded to call his boss and told him that he needed to go back to "windows college"! As if the 2.5 hours wasn't enough, with three small children on a school night, he had to stay and insult me more with his snide comments to his boss. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Description of Work: Nice replacement windows. They don't do much good in the winter when the frames they are put in leak cold air. Lesson replace the whole window. As a result of my comments Anderson has addressed my concerns. They do care about past customers and I appreciate it.
