We met Tom at an open house in the spring and he made a very good impression on us from the start. He was the only agent to follow-up on our visit to his open house and while that particular house didn't work for us, we kept Tom in mind as the agent we would contact when we were ready to move ahead. We casually looked at houses here and there but didn't really get serious about purchasing until we stumbled across the house we eventually bought. We first looked at our house on a Sunday afternoon and contacted Tom later that afternoon. He made himself available to meet with us later that afternoon and we began the process. From the beginning we were very comfortable with Tom because he took the time to explain the process in detail to us, what steps would be taken, and what we would need to do. During the negotiating process, Tom was able to get the seller to drop in price twice the amount my wife and I came up with. He was also able to suggest very good people for our lawyer and home inspector.
Description of Work: Tom was our buyers agent for my wife and I while we purchased our first home.
