Honest - Very Good Service

Immediately responsive when we had pipes burst in our ceiling beneath our upstairs bath. This occurred on New Year's Day. We called two of the major providers in the capital district first. Neither responded until the next day to tell us they could not schedule us, one for the next day, and the other for another week. We went with Plumbing Today because they were the first to respond to our emergency. Cost in an emergency is not the first priority.

The technician was very thoughtful and efficient trying to solve my issue. I would have given 5 stars if he had put everything back the way he found it rather than leave a mess to clean up outside

Very professional and completed their work on time. They are very community oriented.

The tech was friendly and fun to chat with. He also triple check everything to make of leaks and test breakers.

I was charged over $600 for a pinhole leak. The pipe was already exposed in the kitchen. The next 5 pinhole leaks I got, I fixed myself with pex pipe and Sharkbite fittings. Taught myself by watching YouTube. I have since had my furnance and hot water heater replaced by a different company. They were very surprised when I told them about the $600 charge. Don't use Plumbing Today, Inc.

Extremely manipulative sales people. Matthew's brother Robert specifically stated that they agreed to reseed, rake and fix the lawn as well as cold patch the driveway. Since we weren't thinking the seed would stick down they would come back in the Spring and reseed it then. After the fact, I told him that your brother told me he would do this, to agree to match the contract of the other contractor. Matt stated that its not in the contract. They threw it in my face that I didn't enforce them to put everything in writing. They take short cuts wherever they can. They made unpermitted repairs on my water line. They lied to the city of Albany regarding repairs of my water line.

The quality of the work was very good but the price was outrageous. They told me it would take 2 people 5 hours each (10 work hours) but only 1 guy showed up and he completed the work in 3 hours yet they still charged me $1800.

Tech was very friendly, worked quickly and provided several suggestions to improve our drain system.

Arrived when they said they would. Worked quickly, fixed my leaking sink, cleaned up and left. Very pleasant to deal with.

I had a small job of unclogging a slow drain. It took just under 45 minutes. They charge by the job. It was two days before Thanksgiving so I was pressed for time. The work was satisfactory however I feel they are way over priced and could have given me an estimate over the telephone. They charged $310. For the work done I feel they are way over priced. I would not use them again nor recommend Plumbing Today to anyone.
