I left a voice mail. Chris called me back the next day ( keep in mind we were in the middle of a long term heat wave and these guys were busy) and told me when his sales engineer Bill Street would come to look / estimate the job. Bill came, explained my options and sent me an estimate with two alternatives.
I selected and signed the agreement on the 16th. Ed called to advise they would be there on the 24th. The crew came early, worked hard and as a team all day. The job was completed on the 24th. They stayed late -- until 7 PM to finish (in a sweltering hot attic space). Terrific expereince - start to finish! I recommend this company to anyone who needs A/C work.

Overall I would say things went well. We came home on a Sunday afternoon to find our A/C not working. The week after that I reached out to several service providers for estimates and Polytemp was one. They provided me with a timely and excellent estimate. They provided a very cost effective estimate for an excellent product (Carrier). I also asked for a second estimate to include replacing the refrigerant piping. That was also provided quickly. I negotiated on a couple of other things and overall I was very satisfied at this point. They were able to schedule me quickly, from the date of broken A/C to install was less then 2 weeks and from date of estimate to install was just over one week. The men arrived on time and performed the work cleanly.
However, two things bothered me. One the men started the job and then left for about two hours. They simply said they were going back to the shop and then left. The project took about 6 hours total but that includes the 2 hour break. No sure why they left but I would have preferred them to stay and finish rather than take that break. If they had communicated better about why they were leaving then I might have a different perspective.
The second issue is I asked for the second estimate which included replacing the refrigerant piping (the first estimate did not) and obviously it would cost more money. I was willing to pay the extra cost to have all new equipment and I signed the estimate to replace the refrigerant piping. That signed estimate was our contract and that is what I was billed for. Yet when the job was done and I reviewed the work the refrigerant piping was not replaced. When I got the final bill as a stated it was for the higher amount which included the cost of replacing the piping. I immediately brought this to their attention and it seemed that the men did not report back that they did not replace the piping. That is disturbing to me because it seems like the the men lied about the scope of work they performed. I must say that after bring it to their attention they did not hesitate to remove the cost of the piping. But it bothers me that they did not replace the piping because that is what I wanted. I do appreciate the savings but the cost of the piping should have been removed from the bill prior to me noticing that they did not replace the piping.
I would also say that I might consider using them in the future but in a yes or no question I cannot say yes.

Their quote was not the lowest, but close. We decided to go with them because another fried had used them, and were satisfied. Also, well recommended on Angie's list.
They were prompt to arrive, very professional, courteous, and efficient. They were very clean: used a drop cloth to cover entry floor to basement, and cleaned up and vacuumed when they were done. overall, we were very happy to use them, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Overall very pleased with the service. Dean is very knowledgeable and did not push us into services or equipment that we did not need.

They are very nice people. They did a very good and it was a big job. They are very accessible and they are reasonably priced.

Our existing unit was a Carrier that lasted for 18 years so we opted to stay with the brand. Polytemp is one of their nominated installers. They were very prompt and professional in their quoting process and and representatives were knowledgeable and able to provide good information with which we could decide among the multitude of options. They installed on the date they promised. Their installers worked quickly and efficiently. We made a request regarding duct work placement (about 18 inches worth: not extensive) that was incorrectly placed which they promptly sent someone to correct. It is 6 months later and the unit has performed very well and we have had no problems.

THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL, AND COME WHEN YOU NEED THEM. I TRUST THEM AND THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE. I TRUST THIS COMPANY TO HEAT THINGS WELL.

THE COMPANY ARRIVED AT THE EXPECTED TIME. THE COMPANY ALSO WORKED EXTREMELY FAST AND IN A HIGHLY EFFICIENT MANNER, IN THAT THE MEN WERE PUNCTUAL AND KNEW THEIR SPECIALTY EXTREMELY WELL.
