Ray Wardell's team of experts are hands down the best in the industry. There was so much water damage to our home I did not know what to do.We reached out to Servpro and they came to our home within two hours of my phone call. I had no idea of what to expect because I we never had this type of problem before. They came in and walked me through exactly what they were going to do. Servpro packed up all of our water logged items. Then they removed all the carpeting, tiles and water logged walls.They set up drying equipment and began drying out our home. It was fast and effective.My experience with them was excellent. They were also very patient and helpful helping us fill out the needed paper work for our insurance claim. I would highly recommend Servpro of Ozone Park. They are the best when it comes to this type of damage.

They were prompt and thorough and the price was very fair and reasonable. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. Project Manager Dan was very knowledgeable and the quality of their work was evident, particularly in stressful situationI would definitely recommend Servpro to others.

The estimate was only given verbally. A written estimate was refused. The reason that I rated this company as I did is because all communication was verbal and in the end the bill was much hire than what was quoted. Secondly, the supervisor did not remain on site and did not return to check on the work. He told us that the job was finished 2 times and we had to call him to come and fix what was not done and then not done again. He pulled his men away from the job to work on other jobs and he said that he "got busy". The job took weeks to complete. We do not know if the job was done correctly. We do not know if the mold treatment was applied correctly. The supervisor did not come to the house to walk through for a finished inspection. AND lastly, the manager of the office told me that I was not telling him the truth when I sent him my complaint in writing after the insurance company told me to contact him directly. After I complained the manger did tell us to make an appointment for him to come to the house and see what had been done, but by that time, so much of our time had been taken off from work and trust was lost. We do not want to work with this company again so it was not worth the time. I paid Servpro in full in "Protest." I'd like to add that the lady in the office was extremely pleasant and professional.
Description of Work: The house was damaged in hurricane Sandy and then while working on the demolition the water pipes busted and flooded the basement. The insurance company recommended Servpro. The company was hired to get the water out of the basement from the broken water pipes, dry out the basement and remove the mold that formed from hurricane Sandy damage.

[member name removed], Again, we are truly distressed about your dissatisfaction with the services we performed in your home as a result of Hurricane Sandy. However your depiction of what took place during the mold mitigation project is inaccurate. Below is a brief summary of a letter sent to you on March 27, 2103, which resulted in you paying the outstanding portion of the fees owed for the job. 1. You indicate that the job took 3 weeks, when in fact the job spanned 5 days. It did take several weeks for us to receive approval from the Hartford that your claim was covered. While we do attempt to complete most jobs in three days, there are times when it takes longer. We are not contractually obligated to complete the job in a given time frame, but always attempt to complete it is a reasonable amount of time. The end result is we conducted a mold mitigation job in a professional manner and the job was completed according to industry standards. The estimate, which we originally sent to you, could not be more detailed. It provides the square footage of area in which the service was performed with the corresponding services performed in each. It describes the industry standard work process for mold mitigation. In regard to the condition the house was left in, it was free of mold, mold residue, particles and spores. In regard to what you can expect regarding the condition of the house following our service, your house is mold free in the areas that were affected by flood. You can proceed with the reconstruction of the house knowing it is free from mold. The reality is my company did extensive work in your home requiring specialized knowledge, equipment and work processes. If [member name removed] was so unsatisfied with way the work was being performed, he should have stopped us before the job was complete. Instead, he allowed us to complete the job and now you are disputing our agreed upon price, after the fact. They did a good clean up, and they showed up when they had too.
Description of Work: We had Servpro of Ozone Park/Jamaica Bay did the clean up of the basement that was damaged by the flood water from hurricane Sandy. They came and pack beds and got stuffs out of here. They also sprayed it to prevent molds.
