They were prompt and efficient. Job completed neatly and in scheduled time.

Work was perfect. They showed up on time and were efficient and professional. I am very satisfied with the actual work performed. My only complaint is that there was a lack of communications concerning the fact that I would require an outside electrician to perform some required electrical work that added approximately $375.00 to the job.

They did a pretty good job. They did not find anything, but they did what we needed them to do. My brother paid them. They came in a timely manner and there might not be anything wrong with it. They were able to come when we needed them. They were good.

The work turned out excellent. They are awesome and did a great job. They are a little bit pricey, but the system works the way they put the thing in. They really did a good clean up job and they also did masonry-type stuff. When they finished everything was as dust-free as possible. They covered everything. They are very efficient, very fast, they work very well and it turned out really nice. It works so I was happy with it. They are really awesome and the owner of the company calls you back and gets back to you right away. They listen and do what I needed to have done. They are great and I love them. I would not use anybody else. I did not do the research to price other people's stuff and I don't have anything to compare their pricing to. Their pricing is reasonable considering what they have done. They were in there most of the day and the work was good. This is the second time I have used them.

They were awesome. It has worked very well. I have recommended them to several people because the system works great and we've had no issues with it. We just had a big rain system and it ran for 10 days in a row without any problems. It wasn't cheap but it was well worth the price. I would positively use them again.

I didn't compare the price and it was the first time I've ever had the pump replaced.

The service was pretty good. We had some issues with the installation and they took care of it right away. So, no complaints about that. They came on time and everything went on very smooth.

They were fine. I had two companies come to look at my situation but I didn’t go with either of them. We decided not to do the project but it had nothing to do with them. We decided that our basement was fine the way it was. It is like a wine cellar and we don’t use it for anything. It is storage and it is not like living space that was getting moldy. So, we just backed off from doing the work. They were going to charge about $8,000. They came and looked at it, and everything was professional. They weren’t slimy or whatever and it was all fine. I don’t really know what that work should cost. They were responsive. I would probably not call them again because there was this other company in Melville that was inches better and I would like to work with more of local companies.

I have to say anybody I have contacted from Angie's List has been wonderful. They are very nice to deal with. They are very reputable, they come when they say they are coming and they do a very nice job. I was never at home so I can only go by my phone calls with them.

Sump Pump did not work when it was needed.

Waterproofing was done fine and on time; work crew was professional except for soliciting a tip before the work was even completed. Basement Finishing - end product was acceptable. General contractor poorly managed job, he spent no time on site and left the job in the hands of workers for did not speak English. During the project the workers failed to note locations where access panels were needed to get to plumbing and electric including covering the access panels for the French Drain Systems. - poor management. ( Good thing I was able to recall where all the access panels were needed) Owner Bill did corrected issues but went on to tell me how he only made $1,500 profit on my job instead of responding to the big picture, the issue about the lack of oversight on the job. Can not recommend

Sales Rep-Mike Alexander was very knowledgeable and professional. Mike was easy to reach and even stopped by the day of the install to check-in to see how things were going.... Foreman for our job -Deon was great! very detailed and knew exactly what needed to be done. We would highly recommend Deon and his crew. Great company!

It has been excellent. He is very nice, he showed up on time and when promised. He gave us the quote within the time he said he would. He is supposed to start work next weekend and as far as I know, he is going to. His honesty stood out the most to me. He could have made extra money instead; he said I really didn't need something, I thought I did. He quoted us at $3600. He has been in business for a long time and Angie’s List recommends him, so far, everything is good and I don’t anticipate any problems.

They were wonderful. They solved my problem and they were super. They answered all my questions. The estimate I got was what they agreed on doing it. They did a beautiful job. We live over an underground river. When we bought this house we were kids. When the water table goes up the basement floods; it’s like a river running through. Actually, I can hear the water running through the basement. We were told many years ago that the only way to do that was to dig under the foundation and put in French drains. Both my husband and I were very skeptical about digging under the foundation. I didn’t like that idea and so we didn’t do it. We dealt with surface pumps down there. We didn’t want to dig in and put a sump pump in because it didn’t flood that often. When it flooded it was awful and sometimes we pumped for 2 or 3 years before it went down. It was very expensive and of course very wet down there. I finally said I can’t handle this by myself anymore. I am especially glad I did this last summer because when I use the surface pumps; I pump out through the cellar window and with the winter we had we would be freezing the hose up. Healthy Basement Systems went in the basement and they created a French drain around the perimeter of the basement. So when the water comes it flows around the perimeter of the basement. Then it flows over the sump pump area where there is a big industrial sump pump. They also put in a big dehumidifier. When they finished they also put in a special lining around to keep the humidity out. They also put a new cellar window. They were wonderful to work with. So far there is no water and it’s worked. It’s been a dry year. We also had a few torrential rains and sometimes that was enough to set it off. I live here in the south for some 40 years. I have never seen dust in the basement and it was always too damp down there. There is dust down there now. They are a delightful company and they did a beautiful job. So I am very happy with them. When they were coming in they told me that I can save myself some money, if I have somebody take down the insulation between the basement and the first floor. They were trying to save me money by doing that so that was nice of them. My son who is a city fireman took it down. I made him wear protective gear because he was a brand new fireman when the trade center went down. He was there for two and half weeks with no mask on. He was only 20 years old at the time. I told him that he has to do it. He was all dressed up and it was a hot day. I know that they charge everybody the same price and I imagine that is what it cost. They were here 3 or 4 days. I have all kinds of back up batteries in case there is a power failure. I have a huge sump pump, a huge dehumidifier, the digging plus couple of other things they did around here. I would say their price was excellent. I think that’s a pretty good price. The people that worked for him were fabulous too. Everybody was great. They all communicated with me. They were here when they said they would be here. They always let me know what they were doing that day and how long they will be there. They just were very professional. It was an awesome company. I have recommended them to everybody that had similar problems. They said that they were wonderful. I found Healthy Basement Systems through a friend of mine. We live not far from the water. My friend lives closer to the water. She told me that she had used them. She told that they are amazing. Her basement is as dry as a bone. Another friend of mine had a crawl space that kept flooding and her house smelled. She told me that they were unbelievable. Now the house is great. It is totally dry and it doesn’t have that smell anymore. They just did a fantastic job. In fact, I got them through recommendation of other people that used them. I have never been so impressed by a company.

Neat quick professional installation of job that could have otherwise been messy. I've had wet basement for years (water on the floor several times / year. No problems in the year since. Update: 2+ Years later, my basement has been bone dry the whole time :-)

They also sealed off the vents to prevent the vermin from re-entering and to reduce moisture emanating up from the crawlspace throughout my living space and into the attic. Mold had been found growing in all of these places due to high humidity levels.

The work has not even been started.

I was sure I had mold in my basement. Because of the honesty of the owner he informed me I did not.
