We were redoing the entire house, which included removing wall to wall carpeting and refinishing the exisiting oak flooring, which had been covered by carpeting for the life of the house (44 yrs.). I hired Marcin of Euro Floors based on the many favorable reviews in Angie's List. I also liked the fact that he used equipment which is designed to cut down on dust and used quality water based stains and finishes which emit no toxic fumes, as opposed to the old oil based materials, which require that you vacate the premises for several days until they dry. He showed up with two assistants and worked continuously for three days, to completion. He was meticulous in the way he went about everything. I had also had a new stair railing installed by another vendor, which consisted of oak hand rails and black wrought iron balusters. I asked Marcin to finish the oak on the railing to match the finish on the floor, which he did. The job came out great, except for one minor glitch. His assistant had dripped polyurethane on many of the black wrought iron balusters. He assured me that based on his prior experience, the poly would peel off harmlessly once it was entirely dry since the balusters had a dull finish from the factory. He advised me to give it a day to dry and then peel the poly off. Unfortunately, after drying, the polyurethane formed a strong bond with the pre-finished balusters and would not come off. I left a message with his office assistant and then started to think "this guy has my money and I'll never see him again". WRONG! Within a few days he was in my house with several different chemicals, experimenting to see which one would remove the poly without damaging the finish on the balusters. He apologized, taking full responsibility for the damage. After he was satisfied that he had found the right combination of chemicals, he told me he would be back when his scheduled allowed. Sure enough, within a few days, he called to say he was coming over to clean up the railing. It took him many hours over three days of painstaking, detailed work to complete the cleanup. It should be noted that during this time, I never had to chase after him to finish it. The railing is now in excellent condition. Marcin's honesty and integrity is a refreshing change from contractors I had dealt with in past who made excuses and never followed up to repair their mistakes. Based on his excellent work ethic and the finished product, I would not hesitate to recommend him to friend and relatives.

The service was great and the final product was outstanding. Marcin and Kai are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in the types of services they offer (flooring, refinishing, etc). They are a great team and followed up at the end to gauge our satisfaction. Marcin was very knowledgeable about the services and he knew right away what to do. We were originally thinking of doing laminate floors but Marcin suggested sanding and refinishing of the hardwood floors and he was right because it looks great and so much better than laminate! Marcin was punctual and Kai was always able to be reached. The services were completed in a reasonably fair amount of time. I was extremely pleased with Eurofloors! You won't regret using them!

It went great. Marcin and his crew did a marvelous job. Never thought our floors could look this great. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

We had beat up oak floors that were badly damaged in several areas and now my floors are BEAUTIFUL!! I was shocked to stand in a room being sanded and there was no dust. Compared other wood floor refinishers I have used in the past this was by far the best result and the cleanest. Marcin is a perfectionist and even matched the stain to the new wood floors that are being installed on the first floor of the house. I have used the Bona floor refinishing products for over 10 years with great result but this new dustless system is the absolute best. We had one small problem and Marcin was very cooperative and resolved it. I would happily use this company again.

Anybody can say they are experts at floor refinishing. Marcin IS an expert. When he came over the prior week to provide an estimate he fully explained the process to me. I showed him where holes to the basement had been drilled through the floor and asked if he could fill them. I also pointed out that since there had been a carpet there previously, there was no wood trim around the tile fireplace. He explained what he would do to resolve the problems. On the day that the work was to be done he arrived exactly when he said he would, and got to work. I left for the day to go to work, and when I arrived home he was still there putting the final coat of Bona water-based poly on. The floor looked amazing! I could not look at it in any detail since it was still wet. He not only left me full written instructions as to when I could walk on it, place furniture on it, and start to clean it, but he gave me a Bona starter kit of cleaning supplies. Several hours later when I could walk on it I checked where the holes had been filled in. He did such a good job that I couldn't even tell where the holes were. And the fireplace trim looked like it had always been there. I highly recommend Marcin. He is definitely a professional who takes great pride in his work and it shows. Again, thanks Marcin!

Marcin did a fantastic job. Showed up exactly on time and did a superb laminate floor installation. We'll be hiring him again to do a similar installation in another room.

I am very pleased with the work. The entire experience was pleasant and professional. And the result looks great! The patched areas are seamless, Marcin was thorough and gave extra effort. I will definitely use again.

Marcin's work totally exceeded our expectations. He is extremely professional, exceptionally talented and considerate. He arrived promptly every day and never slowed down. Marcin is all about customer service and offered us excellent advice about the colors and finishes that best showcased our wood flooring. We especially appreciated how clean he kept our home with plastic sheets that he taped up at all room entries. His special equipment picked up most of the dust which maintained our home's air quality and before he left each day, he swept and vacuumed everything he worked on. We have already recommended him to friends and will definitely hire him for maintenance.

Marcine came and met to give me an estimate on the work I needed, which was replacing the floor, all the moldings and paint the apartment. I am new to flooring and the different types that are out in the market, but he was fully honest and up front about what I would need and how I can save money on my project. To be honest, both my wife and I left after our meeting with a great feeling. We gave his information to a few friends and family members that need to do some renovations because of his honesty and the way he explained everything. Although this project did not work out, we are definitely going to use him for our next project

We closed on our first home in Forest Hills on February 5th. I was in the middle of a business trip and flew back in to sign all the paperwork and also to meet with Marcin as we wanted to get the floors done as soon as possible. They started work on February 9th which was amazing!!! The entire team at Euro Floors accommodated the only day I could meet. Additionally, Kai took care of all the paperwork so quick to submit to the coop board and management company for approval. Actually the management company knew Eurofloors and Kai because they had done business before and this not only confirmed that I made the right decision to go with them but also expedited the process. I showed Marcin a couple of examples of the grey floors I wanted. He educated me about my current floors, the refinishing process, and helped me understand all the steps necessary to achieve the desired results. He also showed my a couple of before and after photos of finished projects. We felt confident that he would achieve the look we wanted. The job took approximately two weeks. We chose to bleach the floors (for additional fee) after the sanding process which added time but was critical in producing the perfect light grey shade. Also, there was carpeting in the master bedroom and we discovered they were in pretty bad shape. I did not have a chance to see them until after the whole job was done and you would not be able to be tell there was something wrong with them. The floors not only look good but feel good. We've gotten so many compliments about this. I will also mention that the job took two weeks because they took care of the painting for me and at a fair price. I didn't want to have to worry about hiring another person so Marcin said no problem we will take care of it which was so helpful during such a busy time for me My husband and I are so happy with our floors and highly recommend Euro Floors with absolutely no hestitation.

Marcine and his helper worked long and hard. They got the job done, as promised, in two days. We were able to walk on the floors, after they dried and sleep in our room both nights. After the floor dried, the smell was minimal. For the most part the house remained dust free. I swiffer-ed the walls after the job was all done and there was little wood dust on the pad. The provider was very professional and careful not to damage anything. They covered areas that should not get stained, with duct tape or painter's tape. There was very little splashing of stain on walls and floor molding. There were some places that Marcine filled with wood fill, where there were previous gouges. I can't find them now. Marcine took the time to give me the satin that I requested, he matched an existing room that was done by a previous provider, many years ago.

The work was neat, clean,and exacting. Marcin is very knowledgeable about flooring and does an exceptional job. We would use Euro Floors again for any flooring needs. Additionally Kai, in the office is very efficient. The company has excellent customer service.

The job went very well. This was the first time we ever did anything like this so we have nothing to compare it to, but we would definitely use Euro Floors again in the future. They were always on time and worked non stop and finished the job on time.

Marcin and his worker were prompt, pleasant, professional, very hard working and efficient. They were also extremely neat, and cleaned up after every step of the job. They paid great attention to detail, and the floors (no stain, satin finish) look beautiful now ( still drying).

Excellent experience! Marcin is great! He is a true professional. We were able to schedule an initial appointment with him very easily. He provided great advise while we were deciding what product to re polish and change the stain on our floors. Him and His team arrived on time and completed the work within three days. Their work for clean, concise and complete! We were very happy with the final results. He made our floors look beautiful!

The job they did was reasonable. The quality was pretty good, however, my only complaints would be that their responsiveness could have been better, and I wish they would of helped re-touch some of the edges.

They did a great job. The apt hadn't been renovated in quite some time. They managed to get out all the grit and dirt from the woodwork, and did an expert repair job in the bedroom and living room. Marcin's advice was spot on when I said I wanted the floors as light as possible with a good shine. The apartment looks beautiful. Would definitely use them again.

Marcin and his helper were diligent workers and very professional. Kia, at his office, is very helpful and prompt at returning any call and answering any concerns. Marcin has agreed to return to do an additional coat of finish on the railing as it is not quite as smooth as I would like. I chose the Bona Traffic HD which is a semi gloss and takes a bit of getting used to since I previously had a high gloss oil finish. The best part is that there is no odor with this product an you can walk on it within a few hours.
