Just Right Carpentry & Painting

Prompt, left everything clean and reasonably priced. Will use again for other home projects/repairs.

Joseph and two other men performed this work over the course of two half days. They brought along base molding based on a photo I provided to them of similar molding used elsewhere in my home and installed that in my kitchen and hallway. They did extensive patchwork to the kitchen walls where my countertop installers had butchered them. One of the craftsmen custom made an oak molding to transition between the porcelain tile floor and the wood floor, as there was a 3/4 inch height difference. On the second day they painted the walls and ceiling using paint I had purchased, and stained the transition piece. After they left, I realized that a new piece of base molding installed next to the refrigerator was preventing the door from opening all the way, so Joe came back a couple of weeks later to remove it at no additional charge.

Just Right did a fine job framing my skylights, installing recessed lighting, insulation and new drywall for the ceiling. Each day they were on time, worked professionally, and delivered a quality job that looked great. Their price was fair and overall we were happy.

Very pleased with the work. House looks fantastic. They are really fast getting the job done. Excellent teamwork. They communicate with each other saying what they have just finished on the walls so the other one can come in and touch up trim or whatever is needed. About 10 days prior they did Sheetrock/insulation and crown molding for us. Then they waited for our flooring guys to do their work. They might even do hardwood flooring but my husband hired a crew previously to me finding Just Right. Originally we were just having them do the Sheetrock/insulation/moldings and paint the living/dining and after they started we decided to have them paint the hallways (2) and kitchen. Now waiting on my new furniture to arrive this week. Photo is with old furniture.

It went great. Joe came with his crew and fixed everything.My front door and storm door can now close properly. The railing on my deck is perfect, and the banister is perfect. I would definitely hire Joe again...he is tops!

Initially Joseph Woods communicated with me by phone to set up a date for an estimate. In our last phone conversation he indicated he would call me back but he never did. That ended the contact.

Johnny came to the house, looked at the project, was willing to do it, but I was told by someone in the buildings dept that it just cannot be done. I would not hesitate to call Johnny if I ever need any work done. I made such a pest of myself but he never lost patience with me.

Joe and his crew did an excellent job. They were neat and efficient. Joe sent me to a lumber yard to select the molding (that he picked up and delivered). He also suggested using a particular type of molding that ended up saving me money. I will definitely reach out to Joe again for my next carpentry project.

They did an outstanding job with much attention to details.

Unprofessional and difficult to get work done. Makes appointments to perform work and doesn't show up or call. Not worth the price or aggravation. I will pay more and hire a reliable company.

I am very pleased with the work that Joe and Tom and the crew did. Joseph did the initial estimate and he was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I have an older house - a tudor - and they were able to brighten it up and do any outside repairs that were needed. On days when it rained, they called me and let me know ahead of time and told me when they would be back. They worked neatly and efficiently and were extremely responsive to any requests that I had. I would certainly use them again and will recommend them to my friends and relatives.

The crew did an excellent job. The owners of the company are very professional, provided a thorough explanation of what needed to be done, were neat and friendly. They didn't want payment until I could see the finished work. Joe is one of the owners and reminded me that any touch ups or work in the future would be quickly addressed. I might be using them for some carpentry work as well.

Joe and Tommy and their crew did a fast, professional job. They were pleasant and on time as promised. They worked with our schedule. The job looks great. A lot of work was completed very quickly so that your house was not disrupted for a long period. They were neat. The price was reasonable. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

With the level of professionalism Joe, Tom, and Carlos showed from the moment they arrived, I knew this would be a great experience; and it was, right through to the total cleanup. This wasn't an easy job as my home is almost 100 years old and the underlying structure isn't quite the same as today's. However, they figured out a way to overcome the problems and left me with an impressive job. I'm torn between recommending them or not. If enough of you hire him, I may not be able to get my next project done when I need to.

After I called for an estimate, Joe came promptly and assessed our den for crown molding. He gave us tips on what type of wood molding would be best and even offered to pick it up. We scheduled a date and he and his team arrived on time and completed installation within two hours. We’ll definitely call again.

They were great to work with. Had no problem with the extras that came up along the way. Even fixed a potential problem we could have had with the staircase. Excellent carpentry. Love the results!
