Overall everything was fantastic.

They did what they were hired for. The service was prompt and friendly. Later we had a problem and they fix it immediately. And we were happy. We will use them again.

Overall, this company performed very well. I would use them again. I would refer them to my family and friends.

unit was delayed therefore installation was delayed.

They were knowledgeable and professional. They were also very clean--they put down tarps for the work. They spent extra time because there was air in the pipes. They did a very thorough cleaning, and we hope this helps it work more efficiently!

Overall, we had an excellent, professional experience. While other companies were obviously interested in making money, CJ's priority was to do a good job and meet our needs. He gave us the info we needed to make our choices, without a big sell job. He gave us a specific work/expense proposal , which he stuck to. He set up his work time AROUND OUR SCHEDULE, which was important because we utilized the office space into which he was installing heat. He and his assistant were always courteous and responsive. After the work was completed, there were a few areas that needed adjustments; CJ came without question, made the adjustments and did not charge us extra. While this project cost more than we had hoped, it was well worth it in the end.

I called CJ Heating early on a Sunday morning (7:30) as my 84 year old mom's furnace kept switching off in the middle of the night. Chris called me back within 45 minutes and was there within about an hour. He went over the furnace with a fine tooth comb, fixed it so that it worked correctly, and then arranged to follow up a few days later with a new thermostat that was easier to use and to replace the sensors to make sure it didn't cut out again. He called the next day to confirm the parts had been ordered and to schedule his next appointment. He did a great job, and he was so polite and helpful and patient with all the questions mom and I asked! I'd recommend him to anyone.

Always prompt, friendly, and they cleaned up thoroughly after each day's work. They clearly explained everything they were doing and why. Very pleasant to have on the job, and we will highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

Hot Water tank leaking in basement. Response to my call was quick and tank was removed even though it was really heavy and full of water. Within a few days replacement was installed and back in working order.

Chris and Sheldon came out and looked at the Job. Chris sent me an estimate that night. It was during a very hot period in the summer and my wife was having surgery the following week. I asked Chris if he could fit me in before her surgery. He was able to do so. I thought the estimate he gave was very reasonable and the fact that he was willing to do the job at all was a big plus. He told me it would take 4-5 hours to complete. Due to some issues with running the electric line and hooking into my generator the job actually took 7 hours. Any other Heating-Plumbing company I have ever dealt with would have charged for that 2 hours. The price Chis charged was the price he quoted me to do the Job! I was amazed. Both Chris and Sheldon we very professional and courteous. They worked until the job was complete. They cleaned up after and checked out the unit to make sure it worked. The work was very exact and professionally done. I would definitely hire CJ's again and would recommend them to anyone that needs heating or AC work done. It is rare to find companies that deliver this caliber of services in this day and age.!!!!

Chris arrived on time and brought one helper both where very professorial I showed him in to the boiler room where he noticed one problem with my new boiler installation he fixed the problem and did the test I hired him for all went well (I passed). If your looking for a heating and a AC guy Chris Is your Man, give him a try you won't be disappointed.

Quick response; prompt, on-time appearance to scope project; 12-hour turnaround for proposal; scheduled work within 1 week of our accepting proposal; completed work on date scheduled. Highly professional, very competent, extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. An outstanding experience throughout the entire process.

I called CJ's and left a message, looking for an estimate to replace my AC unit for my central air system. I chose this company for an estimate because it had stellar reviews on angieslist.com. Chris came out, and was extremely pleasant. He took the time to explain what he thought needed to be done, from replacing the outside unit, to replacing the evaporator coil and dealing with the refrigerant. He also recommended that my blower motor be replaced on an older furnace. As he left, he promised to email me a quote for everything we had discussed. About a week later, I hadn't received anything, so I sent a follow-up email. He wrote back and explained that he had been busy, and would get it to me ASAP. It's been nearly a month since he first came, and I haven't received anything yet. It's a shame, because I liked Chris and got a good vibe off of him. Maybe he just forgot, but it doesn't look like he will be doing any work at my home.

We just moved into a house and the original HVAC guy's estimate for heating and hot water system changed from needing de-winterizing to needing to be replace for around $10k. Then our central air quit working (in the middle of August, no less). We sat for a week and a half without A/C or hot water while the orignal HVAC guy missed multiple appointments without calling and and never returned our calls. That's when I started searching for a new HVAC service and found CJ Heating. They came the day after we called to look everything over and said that they would start with a cleaning and in doing so would be able to get a better idea of any serious problems with the system. At the next appointment, they called before the scheduled time to inform us they were running 30 minutes behind; they then showed up when they said they would, 30 minutes later. After three hours cleaning and inspecting everything, they found no real issues with the hot water system and added a little refrigerant to the central air at no charge. The final bill was $250 (versus the original $10k). They did mention things that would need more servicing or replacement at some point but that there was immediate need to address that. They were friendly, courteous, punctual, and answered all our questions directly. Will absolutely use them again.

Price, service and quality. AAAChris was punctual, he showed up on time each time.His price was a couple of hundred dollars more than the next guy who seemed unreliable and shady. Well worth it!!Chris and his assistant, Sheldon were just great. They did a beautiful job installing a ductless split-unit for me.They were responsive to my few requests for appearance, they explained what they were doing when i asked.Chris gently urged me to a better route for the refrigeration tubes than one that I had envisioned and I'm glad he did. I found Chris on Angies' List and am thoroughly happy with the choice. I hope that I find a carpenter on the list that equals Chris.I was hesitant to join Angie's List but the few dollars that it cost is well worth it. The fact that the contractor has no business relationship to the list.....that it is only the customers that do the rating......what a great tool for the consumer.

From the start, this all went very well - very smoothly. No issues, no complaints. Chris was so pleasant to work with as was his assistant. My dad was the best plumber :) ... Chris comes in a close second! Polite, professional, knowledgable ... I would definitely recommend CJ Heating to others!

Chris and his assistant were here on time with all the necessary materials on the specified day. They worked neatly and efficiently without any mess or intrusion to our home. The work was expected to take three days. They finished in a day and a half, and had our utility company rebate form filled out, in a stamped, addressed envelope, ready for signature, before they left. Electrical inspection and certificate of compliance were accomplished within a week after the job was completed, due to Chris's attention to detail. We would happily recommend CJ Heating and Air Conditioning to our closest friends. What a pleasure to deal with such responsible, reliable workers!

We have had hot water heater issues and leaking pipes. They are always quick to respond and incdialby polite. Chris takes ample time to explain everything all my annoying questions. He has ever done problem shooting over the phone for us. After our last visit my husband and I literally tried to think of other projects we could hire them for b/c Chris and Sheldon are such honest hard workers.

CJ Air was the first company we called for an estimate. Chris was very prompt in calling us back to set up a time to do the estimate. We liked them right from the start. He arrived when he said he would and answered all our questions & gave suggestions on where to put the outside unit.After getting other estimates, we chose Chris becaus his estimate was the best by far. We have a small straight ranch & he took that into consideration with his estimate. The other companies we called gave estimates that were more for a larger home. The work was started on Wednesday, June 6th and was completed on June 7th. Chris was very organized and respectful of our property & covered our carpets to keep them clean. We didn't have to move anything in the attic ourselves and that in itself was great. They did a great job in cleaning up each day and the job was completed in less time then we expected. We have already reccommended CJ Airconditioning to a neighbor and would reccommend him to anyone who wants an honest estimate, quality work, and nice people to work with. the air conditioning system was working but not cooling, the refrigerant was found to be low and replaced to a working level. in addition the heating system was cleaned. Chris explained his work and readily answered any questions that I had. The work was done quickly and Chris will be doing the annual checkups on both syatems.

CJ Heating and AC was called on May 29th to come and do an air conditioning repair. We kept playing "telephone tag" and finally got to speak to him on the morning of May 30th. He was extremely pleasant on the phone, both on his voice mail and when speaking to him in person. He had a job in my neighborhood, so he said that he would be able to come at 10 AM. Not only was he prompt, but was10 minutes earlier than expected! When he arrived, he was extremely courteous and pleasant. He listened to my concerns and went about the job, looking at my air conditioning condenser. He determined that all it needed was some oiling and that would be enough. He set my thermostat at the desired temeprature and was on his way. I had a wonderful experience with CJ Heating and Air Conditioning and will remain their customer in the future for all my air conditioning needs.
