They were supposed to call me the morning of the appointment to give me a window of time and when I didn't hear from them I called and was told that unfortunately (stupidly) they didn't take down the right phone number so I would have to reschedule for the following week. They would do nothing for me and the customer service rep (if you can call it that) was so obnoxious when I expressed my dissatisfaction about the fact that they would take no responsibility for not being able to write numbers correctly (after all, they do it all day long) that he hung up on me. Obviously he has permission to do this. The company must have plenty of money so they can abuse customers freely. What accountability would they take if they did a poor repair? Probably none. If you called to complain they would probably hang up on you.

My son noticed a full screen vertical line starting to form. They repaired the picture on the TV. They did a beautiful job on the image. It took them two months to repair the TV and did not schedule delivery of finished product until I contacted them. This is extremely too long.

The estimator knew the LG SKU numbers for the parts that needed to be replaced and installed. He asked for a $50 deposit. I gave him my check #5089 in that amount. He said I would get a call from the company with a firm cost in a few days. When I hadn?t heard from AID in almost a week, I called and spoke to a very rude woman who aid no one was available and I should wait a few days. I did not hear from them. I called again in a few days and the same woman spoken to earlier accused me of badgering. Almost two weeks later I asked for an estimate or the return of my $50 deposit. Left with the choice of going to Small Claims Court which would cost me more in time than $50, I reported them to the BBB which has nothing good to say about them, but has no power to make them return my money. To this day, I have never received an estimate and could not get my money back.
Description of Work: Derek, a pleasant man who seemed knowledgeable about my LG refrigerator, arrived to estimate replacement cost of a broken vegetable bin and broken refrigerator gasket part that keeps the door securely closed.

Not only did they make the appointment a full week after Best Buy said someone would come out but they didn't actually make an appointment, I was just told someone would call me at 8am this morning to give me a two hour time window. I waited at home until 9:45am and no one called. I get to work at 10:30 am and I have a message that I missed my appointment . I called and spoke to a Selma about it who was rude and then I asked to speak to her manager whose name was Rick and he was even worse. Actually told me to call and complain to Best Buy and believe me, that I did. Real class act these people. Stay away and spend your money somewhere where people value other people's time and have basic people skills.
Description of Work: Called Best Buy to have my Samsung flat screen serviced and it was referred to this third party company.

I contacted Aid believing I had motor damage to a brand new combo washer/dryer from LG. Working with their scheduling team was a nightmare. I called them before Thanksgiving 2007 and believed that I had an appointment for November 28, 2007. I stayed home from work on the morning of the 28th to wait for them - I was told that that morning I would receive a call confirming the time window. There was no call. Only when I called Aid was I told that a serviceman couldn't come because I hadn't called back with the machine's model number (this was not told to me). A second appointment was then set. Aid was given the number of my super to call when they arrived. I was told they'd be here by 12 pm. At 3 pm, I called their office as the serviceman hadn't showed. I was told a serviceman would be here by 5 pm. Again no one. When I complained to the office I was told Aid was "very focused on customer service". Finally on December 28th a live serviceman came - over a month after it broke.
Description of Work: I own a LG combo washer/dryer that was newly installed in November 2007. LG put me in touch with Aid for service in late November 2007.
