I highly recommend Clear Choice Tree Service to everyone that has any kind of tree issue. Doug is a certified arborist and doesn't do anything that isn't necessary. They donate the trees taken down to seniors in need. The whole process is explained and the communication before the actual day is great. I can't say enough good things about this company and crew.

Wow, what a difference hiring a certified arborist makes! Doug Kantrowicz came out for an estimate, and gave us an opinion not just on the tree we needed to take down, but also helped us evaluate other trees on our property. We had gotten estimates from other tree services who had also looked at our other trees, but it seemed like they saw every tree as a dollar sign, whereas Doug gave us advice on how to save trees, not just take them down. Significantly, he also quoted us a price that was below the other two estimates we had been given, even from the company that bragged that they were the lowest prices in town. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt - even moving up the scheduled work date after the tree we needed to remove partially blew down in a wind storm, after he gave his initial estimate. (What timing, right?) Not only did they leave a tidy pile of wood chips for us to use as mulch like we requested, Doug also let me know that the rest of the wood that he removed was being donated to a local family who is struggling to meet expenses related to their child's illness. I'm very glad we chose Clear Choice, and I will definitely use them again.

They came -- on time -- on the appointed day and efficiently and safely removed the appointed trees and stumps. The owner was knowledgeable and answered lots of plant-related questions (and in the process saved me a large chunk of change). All were pleasant and professional.
