Typically, I try not to write reviews unless I have positive things to say, but I just wanted to share my experience so others will not have the same issue. I requested quotes for a plumbing job on Home Advisor. J Des Plumbing contacted me right away, which was fantastic. I got a quote quickly, and communication was excellent. It crossed my mind that it was unusual to get a quote without a pro having seen the job, but since the scope of work was not extensive, I did not think on it too much. The guys showed up on time, were friendly, and got right to work. The entire job was complete within 2 hours. When they were ready to go, they told us the total. I was unpleasantly shocked that it was MUCH more than the quote. Our original quote was for $350. The total at the end was $600. To me, that is a very large discrepancy. My husband and I were left in the uncomfortable position of having to either pay, or call the office to complain since the quote and the work itself came from different sources. I do expect that sometimes a job can be more than quoted, it is understandable. This time, however, there was not anything major that came up unexpectedly. In addition, no one told us after actually seeing the work in person that it was going to cost significantly more. I feel bad because the work is of great quality and everyone was helpful and very responsive, but the unexpected cost is a financial strain, and I would not want someone else to also be caught off guard.

Joe, VInce, and Mel were great. They scheduled promptly and got the job done promptly. Very professional and worry free. Less expensive than some other plumbers I queried as well! I will call them for plumbing and heating needs.....

Vince and Joe were amazing. My hot water heater needed replacing, they quickly diagnosed the problem and had a new hot water heater installed quickly. They are very professional and easy to contact with questions. Definitely recommend!

Sump pump died, called my usual plumber and told me I had to wait 2 weeks, now that business card is in the trash and replaced with J De's!!!

It was confusing to work with this company. I received a message to set up an appointment and called them, and the lady on the phone was confused about why I called. Then I heard from them via text message to call and ask for Justin and I did and there was no Justin at the number they gave me. Then a project manager Joe texted me from the same number as Justin, then sent me an email. I answered the email and we set up an appointment. Then another email asking for pictures and those were sent, then a confirmation email and set up a time for Saturday 9 am. And they were a no-show. They did not answer emails, text messages, or phone calls. I would rate them a zero if Angi allowed it.

Vince was excellent. The work was done in the minimum of time. I would definitely use J De's Plumbing again

You could tell Vince knew what he was doing. He installed a tankless water heater for me after getting the runaround from another company. We are happy to have hot water again. They even came back a few days later to get rid of my old water heater.
