STATEWIDE OIL & HEATING

The technicians that came in over the weekend were pleasant enough. The Saturday technician stayed for quite a while and worked to resolve the issue. We thought it had been resolved, but the next day the issues were not resolved. The Sunday technician stayed for a very short time, and stated that their were parts that needed replacing, but could not give a timeline as to when that would happen. He said that his boss (Vinnie) would call with the details. Vinnie did not call on Monday. On Tuesday, I called Statewide and was assured that Vinnie would call me back shortly. Vinnie did not call on Tuesday. Wednesday morning, with outside temperatures below freezing and inside temperatures in the low 60s, I called Statewide again and had to use some rather forceful language to get a response. A different service manager, Mike, called me back. Here's hoping the response from Statewide today is effective. If not, I will need to contact another provider.

The company sent a young man to inspect who was on time as scheduled, but failed to write the report. We spoke to them twice over the phone and were assured that the report would come. It has not. I've sent a letter requesting our money back.

Great experience. Serviceman was pleasant and professional and seemed to know what he was doing. He cleaned out the chimney and explained that when the boiler had been installed (by Keyspan) the chimney reset had been put in backwards and he also fixed that.

We had good luck with this company and we had no complaints. They were a lot better to us than other companies in this area in the heating and air conditioning field. I have no complaints or concerns with this company at all.

I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE REPAIR SERVICES OF STATEWIDE. I FIND THEM TO BE PROMPT FOR SCHEDULED SERVICE CALLS. I APPRECIATE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE POLITE. THEY COME TO WORK, NOT TO SOCIALIZE.
