It was great - Ivan and Roman were super responsive, flexible, and reliable. I'd definitely use them again.

The electrician was careful and realistic. They managed to get outlets into places that seemed like it would be impossible. They know brownstones. They were responsive, showed up on time, neat, and completed the work as stated. Rocco did an excellent job, and everyone in the office was courteous and professional.

The electricians were in and out in less than 30 minutes, and the unit is working perfectly.

The electrician was pleasant and neat. My only objection was that when the job was about 95% complete, he had to go out and "feed the meter". That would not have been a problem, however those ten minutes that he was gone were added to the duration of installation and put the time spent at 5 minutes over one hour. The charge was hourly, so I didn't think that was really right. But their work was good, and I would use them again.

I called Ceriello and they came out the following day. They found the problem and fixed it. I had feared the repair would be over $500 and was pleasantly surprised at the $222 charge. The technician was pleasant, knowledgable and efficient. Highly recommend.

A friendly and competent technician from Ceriello showed up at my home on time and efficiently and effectively replaced the pullchain.

The work was accomplished, but I am not very happy about the experience and the charges. I used the Angie's List site to contact the company. I received an automatically generated answer that someone would be back in touch with me before the end of the day. In the end I had to phone the company, so its response to the online function appears to be subpar. I arranged for an appointment and was given a window between 10 a.m. and noon. The electrician arrived just at the very end of the window, inconveniencing me and causing me to cancel a meeting. Granted that he was technically not late, and that there's no way to know how long it took to complete the job preceding mine. Still, I live within blocks of the company's address, so given the morning appointment, it is hard to understand how things could get backed up so soon and why the electrician arrived only at the very end of two-hour window. When I phoned to make the appointment, I explained that I had a very simple job—the replacement of a switch. In spite of this, the electrician arrived without equipment or new switches, and having taken a look at the old one, he then disappeared for 15 or 20 minutes to get its replacement. That period of time was added to his time on the clock, sending the total into a second hour and thus a higher cost. I acknowledge that parking is not easy in my neighborhood and he may have indeed been 15 or 20 minutes away, but that this amount of time was just enough to allow for a greater charge does give me pause. Also, that the nature of the work had been already been described and the electrician nevertheless came entirely empty-handed is hard to fathom. When the work was completed, I showed the electrician a coupon for first-time clients offering a $15 discount. He then called the office for the charges on the job and was placed on hold. As we waited, he told me while that the company did not like to use credit cards, explaining that clients somehow were able to use them to get around or renege on payment after the work was completed. The details now escape me. When someone at the office finally answered, he passed the phone to me so I could provide my Visa card information, which I did. I noticed after he left that that the receipt provided only a description of the work done and a total price. There was no breakdown and I could not tell whether the discount had been applied. I then phoned the office and asked for the absent breakdown and whether the total included the coupon discount I had requested. The coupon had not been applied to the cost, and I was given only a verbal list of the expenses. I cannot fault the quality of the work, which was in any event quite basic. But in an age of the internet, the company's responsiveness, communication, timeliness, documentation, preferred form of payment, and professionalism leave much to be desired. It is for these reasons I give it a grade of C. Though it is a local business that I'd like to support, I doubt I'd use them again.

Extremely disappointed in the services provided. Electrician was unable to accomplish anything they were hired for, even after advising us which materials to purchase for them and coming back a second day.

Frank arrived for the appointment on schedule, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got a replacement transformer from a nearby supplier. He was professional throughout the visit and had suggestions on avoiding similar issues in the future. The experience was good and Ceriello's price was fair for the work involved. I would consider hiring them again for larger electrical projects I have in mind.

These guys are awesome! Fast, courteous, professional and above all - knowledgeable and experienced. After I booked the appointment for later in the week, the dispatcher called me and said they had an opening and he was able to get an electrician out to my apartment that same day. The electrician showed up promptly, was able to extract the transformer out of a very small opening through the hatch door in the ceiling, quickly tested the unit and diagnosed the issue, and then called his supplier to confirm they had the part needed. He went to the supplier to pick up the part, was back within the hour, and had it installed in 15 minutes. I could not have asked for better service. I will definitely be using Ceriello Electric next time I need an electrician!

Rocky C. arrived at 8:40a and by 10am he was done with the work. He was punctual, polite, proficient and professional.The job was excellently done; he cleaned up after himself. On top of that, the price is just right!

These amazing people came to my office, surveyed the IT wiring problem that we had, and very quickly proposed an ingenious solution that we could actually do ourselves! They refused to charge us for the visit, and disappeared into the night as magically as they arrived.

Electrician explained how the outlet burnt out very well. He also took a look at an old outlet and recommended to get that converted from 220 to 110 and use that as the dedicated AC outlet. He also had great tips on how to determine which outlets are in the same circuit.

Based on my understanding of the issue, one of the retailers on my block blew out the power for the entire block. I received frantic calls from my tenants stating that they had jobs to finish and the power went out. My regular electrician was not available so I checked Angie's List to find a local electrician. I called Ceriello and within the hour they were on site and corrected the problem with a temporary solution and advised me to contact my electricity provider immediately. The bottom line, we were up and running within one hour while my neighbors had to wait for Consolidated Edison to restore power which took 8-12 hours.

On the both visits - the electrician came later than the appointment time. I had explained the situation in detail before the first appt and the electrician came without the appropriate switch (dimmer switch was not working) - which meant he had to go out and get the proper part. I was charged for that time. For the second visit, they came with the parts I had to preorder and installed the thermostats. I would say that their estimates of time needed to do the work were a bit low so you felt like they were taking too long to do the work and were being charged extra. Overall quality of the work seems to be good - and the electrician did provide advice about some of the other light fixtures which was appreciated.

They did a great job and he was very good. The gentleman came promptly and was on time. He did a little extra work to ensure the fixture was firm and would not shake. He explained what he was doing every step of the way so that was how I knew he was taking care. He was not cheap but he was not terribly expensive and I thought we got our money’s worth. He charged me less for the second one and I was very happy with the service.

This company is wonderful. After a sleepless night I called Ceriello at 7:30 in the morning. Pasquale who answered the phone said he would have someone at my apartment at 8:30 in the morning. The electrician showed up on time and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. I was quite relieved. It turns out I was using the wrong type of fuses. The electrician was very professional and very pleasant. As an aside, this company also did the rewiring for the elevator in my building and did a very good job.

I am very particular about customer service and I have no criticism for Ceriello Electric. None. I'm a little worried that this review is going to look like Ceriello's grandmother wrote it but, honestly, I can't think of anything they can improve on. There are fewer than five times in my life when this has been true of a provider making a home service call. When I made my initial phone inquiry, every question was patiently answered regarding pricing, availability, insurance, etc. I live in a coop with strict insurance requirements. After giving Ceriello with the details, they quickly got back to me with a Certificate of Insurance and we scheduled an appointment. When my building manager told me they had updated their requirements, I had to call Ceriello to request the change and postpone the appointment. I dealt with Rosalia, who was ultra-professional, and very understanding. She gave me everything I asked for and I eventually rescheduled for a new date without hassle. This put me at ease because I knew this company made customer satisfaction a priority. I'd rather pay more for a company like this; even so, I think their rates are reasonable for NYC. The electrician, Frank, was the best. Ceriello is lucky to have this man. Clearly, they hire top shelf personnel. He showed up on time, was friendly, explained everything he was doing, was comfortable answering questions. There are capable providers who do good enough work, but who still cut corners when it comes to fine details. Then there are guys like Frank who take the extra minute or two to get it done right. Both of my new fixtures required a little adjusting. One has an unusual design and I needed to see it turned at different angles to find its visual sweet spot. The other is mounted from a ceiling that is not level and needed tweaking to compensate for it. In both cases, Frank took the time adjust and readjust to let me eyeball the fixtures until I was satisfied. He also had great suggestions for bulbs and other future lighting changes I asked about. He didn't take any longer than necessary to do the install, and when he left I felt like all my questions were answered and that the highest quality work was performed.

Amazing! They were able to come the day after I called. We were given a time from of 1 - 3 and he actually was there at 1:20! He was nice, professional, and had all work done quickly. Once complete, he called the main owner and electrician for the company and gave a detailed, professional recap of each issue I had reported and how he had fixed it. I then spoke to the main electrician to be sure I was happy with the service and to confirm the total. Great service, great people! These are now my go to electricians!

Electrician was friendly and knowledgable. Finished the job in one day as promised. They even sent a second electrician to finish it in time.
