He never came or returned my calls. I still have a broken shower door.

I knew exactly what I needed. He was trying to charge me 500.00. The repair got done. They were responsive. The owner was great.

David arrived on time for the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and very careful with his measurements. He helped me chose the correct features for the door and suggested an interesting handle and towel bar to complement my existing hardware. He indicated the door would be ready approximately 2 weeks after I ordered it. The pricing was similar to the other estimates I had received, however I had a very high confidence level after speaking with David. Roseann in the office was very efficient at e-mailing to me the required insurance papers for my building. William was on time for the installation. They were exceeding careful about covering everything in and near the bathroom. They took about 3 hours to complete the installation. The door looks beautiful. After using the shower I noticed a very tiny leak of water between the fixed panel and the tub. I called ABC and they scheduled a serviceman for the next week. He added a little more silicon. There is no longer any leak. All in all an excellent experience and a beautiful job.

Smoothly and professionally. They even went an extra mile and fixed up the old silicone on the remaining part of the shower which had been done improperly by another company years ago. Friendly, honest and clear. It was a pleasure doing business with them!

ABC was top-notch from estimate to install. I scheduled an estimate and David spent over an hour measuring two very unique shower areas where we wanted 2 enclosures. He explained everything in detail and gave me hardware and glass options available. He stated he didn't think the glass could be installed the following week because of their schedule and the holidays but he would try. ABC called me 4 days later indicating that the glass was ready and they could fit me in. The install team was at my home the day after & completed the job in 2 1/2 hours. The installers were clean and took the time to make sure that everything was perfect. Both enclosures fit perfectly and look amazing. I was so impressed by my overall experience I called and spoke with the owner Steve, on a Saturday! Don't be fooled by the contractor that offers you the lowest price. You definitely get what you pay for. I'm extremely happy with ABC and recommend them 110%

What a perfect experience this was -- from the moment I emailed Steven (over Labor Day weekend!), he was immediately responsive and came by within a couple of days to see the site and talk through our options. From that moment until the completion of the project -- which was somehow less than 3 weeks, miraculously! -- Steven and his entire team (including Miguel, who worked on measurements with Steven, and Ishmeal, who installed) were incredibly responsive and professional. They kept us fully informed on timing and options, and though the price was a little higher than I anticipated, it was well worth the additional expense. The worksmanship, attention to detail, and final product were outstanding. They are experts at what they do, and this just underscored the old adage that you get what you pay for. I'd use them again without a second thought, and already have told several friends about our great experience.

We called ABC Shower doors to install the shower doors for our master bathroom renovation. The staff was very efficient and they gave us an appointment within two days. The representative who arrived was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. We had our estimate for the work within 24 hours and our shower doors were installed two weeks later as promised. The installation took a few hours and was trouble free and efficient. I would recommend this vendor and their staff highly. We were extremely satisfied with the work.

Great experience overall, from the call to request an estimate, installation, and a small follow-up repair. This is a family owned and operated business and it shows. The salesperson I dealt (Dave) was on time, courteous, helpful and patient (I went back and forth on some options more times than I want to admit). The door system was ready in the time frame promised (about two weeks, which was great compared with another service I contacted) and the installers called to confirm and also showed up right on time. I discovered a small leak two days after installation, which was the Friday of Labor Day weekend. The service picked up and asked me to call the office back on Tuesday when they re-opened, but the office called me first. They will be back tomorrow to fix the leak. They are so nice and so helpful I can't thank Angie's List enough for the referral; I don't think I would have found them otherwise.

Our glass shower door simply came off the wall. I guess the builder didn't install it properly with the appropriate hangers. Called ABC Shower Doors and Mirror.... The charge was $650.00 which included hanging the door and putting new seals around the door to minimize water leaks. Overall pleased with the outcome. The $650 seemed high but i was ok with it.... as they had to come into Manhattan with a truck and team for this job. The team did a good job. They were careful. They cleaned after themselves.

I have used this company twice before this time and it has always been professional, speedy and good quality. This time I would say while the quality was still great, responsiveness and helpfulness was not very obvious. I was told the doors would be ready by Memorial Day weekend - when I called the followng Tuesday I was told the following week - and not apolegetically at all. I think they should not have promised what they had or should have called to let me know that things had changed. Installers were absolutely fine but was not impressed by how the office handled their busyness....

Easy, fast, efficient installation. Excellent customer service, friendly and understanding techs.

The installation went very smoothly, and after 1 year, everything still works well. After a month the metal piece that acts as a sliding door stop was loose and sliding along the rail, but all we had to do was tighten the hex screw and it was fine. Some of the silicone caulking wasn't the smoothest, but that's a minor detail. Overall, the entire process was painless and I would recommend them.

The company was very professional and were in touch right away. However, I'm pretty sure they mostly deal with shower doors. I'd needed something else entirely, retrofitting of glass on furniture tops. If I ever need shower doors, though, I'd call them again.

Now *this* is how to run a business. I called ABC Shower Door based upon Angie's List reviews and they were available to come out to my home the next day! David, who took the measurements and advised me whether to go with a door or slider, was totally professional and fair, and he answered all my questions regarding the pros and cons of both. He gave me a fair price and they were prompt with scheduling installation. When something needed to be tweaked in my shower and I had to put off the installation a week, ABC was unfazed and rescheduled for the following week. During installation, the gentlemen took off their shoes and were respectful of my home, cleaning up as they went during the 3 hours it took to put the shower enclosure in. When they were done they advised me on how to keep it look beautiful for years to come. That evening, I received an email from the owner with a copy of a picture the installers sent him on the finished product and he thanked me for hiring ABC. I thanked *him* for the class act and the great work!

First of all they are very responsive to calls for appointments and are punctual. Very customer/user friendly. They exhibited high integrity in that my original call was for two bathtub shower doors. They assessed both tubs and quickly pointed out that no shower door could be installed on the second tub because that tub's installation did not permit proper water drainage. As soon as he pointed it out, I realized how right he was. I told him, "well that is unfortunate for both of us-- because I wont get a door on this tub, and you wont get the business for building two doors, now-- only one. " He also assessed an existing shower door (not their work) that leaked and pointed out the problem was easily solved for about $150- materials and labor. Again he was right, and that door has not leaked since. The design I wanted for the tub was the European type that covers about half+ of the tub, swings out for cleaning and/or tub baths, and swings in for use as a shower. The door is beautiful, preserves the openness of the bathroom and of course eliminates the curtains that I have never really liked. Their installers work clean, neat, fast and very professional, and when they left, it was as though they had never been there. This is a first class outfit! I found them here on Angie's List, and highly recommend them to anyone. I can't say enough good things about them. Hope this helps the next customer. Like the commercial ends-- "Thank You, Angie."

We came by, the person in the showroom was knowledgeable, courteous and answered all our questions. They have excellent products that are of excellent quality.

Overall I was pleased with the company. My only complaint was that after setting up an appointment a week in advance for the estimator, the estimator called on the day of the appointment to cancel because he would not be near Brooklyn that day. I found out later that my appointment was canceled to accommodate someone else who kept rescheduling. Bad idea. However, once that issue was behind me the work of the second estimator (David) and the installer was excellent in every way.
