As I write this, the building is infested with roaches and other insects. When this owner took over he cancelled the previous owner's contract with Ecolab and replaced it with nothing. Also right now, the landing chute for garbage has not been working for months, and there is no sign of it being repaired. As a result all garbage must be carried to the basement. The building has four large garden areas in front which are randomly planted with bizarre and hideous bushes. The apartment buildings next door have lovely gardens. The concrete floor of the basement is cracked, slanted, humped and a major threat to life and limb. People have fallen and injured themselves there. I asked the owner if he is concerned that someone would fall and bang their head and die, and he laughed and said "I'm insured". What the landlord does do is lie on applications to raise rent. To understand the arrogance of this man, he is a real estate lawyer.
Description of Work: This landlord provides minimal services to tenants in a 120 apartment building. Calls to 311 result in no actions. I leave it to you to guess why.
