Window King

Nick came out to give an estimate and showed samples of the products. We discussed pricing with various options. I got estimatges from 2 other companies and the price wasn't even close to Window King. I called Window King and set up a date for the installer to come measure. The installer Rafael came out within a couple of days and took the measurements. Rafael was very friendly and professional as well experienced with over 28 years in the business. The windows came a few weeks later and were installed using the special materials i requested ( pressure treated wood tap-con screws and OSI caulk). Rafael advised me to leave the windows closed for 24 hours and now they are working and looking great.

The sales dept got in touch with me to set up and appt almost immediately after signing up for the big deal. Joann was very pleasant to talk with on the phone. Salesman was punctual, personable, and informative. A date was set, and the two man crew arrived right on time. One was taking the old windows out while the other installed the new ones. At one point they had 3-4 windows out for 30-45 minutes, which was a little disconcerting. I didn't want any birds aor squirrels getting in to my house--thankfully none did. They worked quickly and were done within 4 1/2 hours. The workers were courteous.and left the interior work areas clean. The windows look nice and all function well.

The company was very responsive to the initial e-mail inquiry. They sent over a salesman who provided a proposal for the Okna 400 (Precision Weld) windows. I thought this was very strange since it is the bottom of the line, and their website touts the Envirostar window (the Okna 800 Series). In other words, they "advertise" the energy savings by touting the most energy efficient window but then "sell" you the least efficient window. I sent several e-mails asking for a price quote for the better quality windows but never received a response. My wife finally called them and was told that the Envirostar window looked completely different and we wouldn't want that. Instead they sold up the middle-line window Okna 500 (insul-tec). On the day of installation we received a call -- they hadn't measured the larger windows or realized how large they were, and they could not fit them in their van so they needed to reschedule. Once the windows were installed, they did nothing to "finish" the job, meaning that we still had to paint around the casings. Maybe this isn't typical because the windows they had removed were not standard windows, but it surprised the heck out of me that they didn't make the windows look nice after removing the old ones and installing the new ones. Granted, the proposal didn't say anything about painting the windows, but I didn't expect to be getting bare bones installation. They left the stickers on the closet window but did not leave stickers on the larger windows. I assume that they installed the proper window but one couldn't really tell that from a sticker in any event.

The job was well done by the three gentlemen did the job fast,clean and with no problems.The windows are great and are what the salesmen Nick recommended,couldn't be happier.

I was skeptical at first in hiring Window King at first because of their prices but after reading the reviews I realized they were (and continue to be) the company to call. I scheduled an estimate and Al came out to promote his product and take some measurements. I bought 3 of the "$1,999 for 5 Windows INCLUDING Installation!" deals and paid for the extra windows individually after installation. The crew of Mike and Chris along with their sons came to do the installation. These guys are top notch and worked very hard answering any of my questions along the way. I needed to have a window sill replaced since the wood was rotted and Mike took care of it. The only thing I would watch out for was when the old windows were taken down my stairs my walls were nicked as they were taking them out 2 at a time. If I had to do it again I would tell them to take them out one at a time to watch out for my interior painted walls. It's been a year and I noticed 2 of my screens have some small holes in them - I'm not sure if they are due to wind (Sandy) etc but I called and spoke with JoAnn who is contacting the manufacturer for me to have them replaced (no charge). Some of the caulking has started to crack a little so I have to recaulk these small spots but that is normal with any new window installation. Overall if you're on the fence you should pull the trigger and go for it. These prices can't be beat and they do a great job.

Contacted window King about 6 weeks before work was done and received estimate for replacing 10 old metal storm windows with new vinyl double hung units. Estimator was very responsive and came on time. He explained the complete process to me and gave me a price that was very reasonable. I entered into contract with them and gave a small down payment.Was told at time that the windows wouldtake approx. 5 weeks to manufacture and install. After 4 weeks they contacted me to schedule installation. The installers were on time and very professional. They installed all 10 windows within 6 hours and cleaned up after they were done.

Let me start off by stating unequivocally that we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Window King! Our home is almost 100 yrs old, so unfortunately, this turned out to be a much bigger project than we had initially anticipated. Upon removing the old door, it was apparent that there was extensive wood rot so the contractor had to essentially rebuild a foundation for the new door! This was outside the project scope and required several hours of labor and additional material. Nonetheless, the contractor and his helper were troopers -- they patiently tackled the job, dug in and stayed focused. They build the basefloor, framed the new doorway, insulated it and installed the new door. Throughout they were professional, courteous and detail oriented. The end product turned out great - way better than we had hoped considering the unexpected findings at the start! The workmanship is AAA+ And when it came time to settle up, I was pleasantly surprised that they only charged for the extra material. I highly recommend Window King...on a scale of 1-10, Window King is a 20! This is the second project that we've done with them, and I can't praise them enough -- so much so that if tomorrow I learned that they do full remodels, I'd sign up in a minute. Consider Window King for your door project, they're more than just windows!

Everything went great. From the original meeting with the salesman to the measuring of the windows to the installation, we have no complaints. They had actually set aside 1.5 days to do the install, but finished by 4 PM of day 1. Everything was neat and clean and all garbage/old windows were carefully removed. There was an issue with 2 of the windows (one cracked during transit and one had a manufacturing glitch). Both were safe to install and within 2 weeks replacements arrived and were easily swapped out (just the sashes needed to be swapped). I would definitely recommend Window King as they were much cheaper than most companies and provide a quality window (Okna 400D).

They came quickly after I called. They gave me a full description and pricing, as well as a written estimate. This was nice so that I could send it to the insurance company. They sent someone out to measure, they had the windows sent out immediately. They had our double window installed and looking great withing two hours! What I really appreciated is that they cleaned up after themselves. They showed me all the safety features, how to clean the window, and how to lock the windows. It was good experience.

From the very beginning Window King proved to be a very professional. JoAnn who I dealt with on the phone, answered any questions we had and was very helpful and kind. When the salesman came by to show us the window we had purchased he made sure any thing we had a question about was answered thoroughly. The installation went very well. The installers were very efficient and cleaned afterwards as well as taking our old windows with them. This is a family owned company and they treat their customers with respect and a high level of professionalism. We would recommend this company to any who is in need of new windows and, speaking of the windows.... They are made by Okna. They are of very high quality and after the installation made an immediate change in our home.

We were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Among other things, 2 of our windows were cracked and our insurance would only pay to replace the window panes. We didn't think we could afford to have all new windows installed, especially now after all the other expenses. Then I received a "Big Deal Offer" from Window King, 5 windows including installation for just $1999.00, WOW! Maybe we could afford new windows after all! After speaking with Window King about our needs ( we ended up needing 7 windows ) they made us an offer we just couldn't refuse! After they sent an expert to measure,they made our windows exactly for our installation. After our windows were made, it took two guys just a few hours from start to finish! When they left, they cleaned up and took all the debris with them; they left us with nothing but beautiful brand new windows! Yeah! I have to say that it was so amazing to get this quality of craftsmen-ship at this such a savings, especially after overpaying for just about everything during the storm recovery! Thank you Window King!

The install date was later than desired, But thew service was fast and professional. The did a good cleanup and took the old windows.

Window King was great from start to finish...from a) scheduling the apptmt to survey the project, b) a profesional yet affable salesman (no hard sell) to c) a great installation team. The workmen were punctual, courtesy and extremely conscientious...they installed 5 windows AND and a patio in approx 5 hours! Everything was finished beautifully, the team took pride in their workmanship and were very detail oriented. The contrast btwn the before and after install is unbelievable--- the windows look fabulous!!! We are very, very pleased w/the experience and product that we look forward to doing more work w/Window King. I highly recommend them!

Curteous, flexible on when to come and quote. Windows of the expected quality and installed quickly, with considerable care for both inside and outside.

It went okay. I did have a small problem with the arrival time as they were supposed to come at 8 or 9 in the morning and they did not show up until 11. I did end up turning them away and a second guy came later and he was on time and he did a great job. The office staff was really great as well.

The men came in before their appointment at 9am. The gentleman that measured the windows also came to install. He remembered where the windows were to go and he went to work. They did a fantastic job. Fast and efficient and the work - beautiful. We immediately felt the difference in temperature. I really appreciate the work that was done. I will be hiring them again until all my windows are completely changed.

They arrived earlier then scheduled, did a very clean and fast service. workers were nice and respectful.Windows are great quality before they left. I had them measure more windows. Great company. I would recommend to everyone.

I did not choose to use them as I made it clear that I needed to find the source of leaks into the window but they were only interested in replacing the windows and that would not solve the problem.

Window King is my go to company for windows and doors. The staff show up on time, act professional, install the product, and clean up after themselves. I wish all my contractor needs could be met with their work style. They make it easier for me. Thank you!

Entire process was very easy. There was a delay in the delivery of the windows due to Hurricane Sandy, but the office was able to accommodate our install and ended up completed within the original estimated time.

They were excellent. The salesman was very clear and honest. The workers were very speedy and finished in one day. Their was one problem and they resolved that very well with no problem. They left the work area very clean.

It was a pleasant professional experience . I would hire them again!
