Scott did a great job from taking measurements for my 3 kitchen cabinets to installing the glide out shelves in them... I couldn't be more pleased... matter of fact I just ordered one more after he finished this job... Polite, professional, great quality and he takes pride in what he does.. I highly recommend him!!

He came over and measured the cabinets that I possibly want to do the shelves in. He went over the price for me and how the big deal would reflect in the estimate. He gave me the estimate in paperwork as well as an email. He was a very nice gentleman and pleasant.

From first to last, Scott was the best: pleasant, professional, straightforward, honest, prompt. I found Scott on Angie's list and contacted him with a number of questions about work details, time and cost estimates, and he was patient, responsive and helpful each time. He came once for an hour or so to measure, and asked all the right questions during the process about what items we would keep on each shelf and where each would be best located, and helped with decision-making advice as well. When he returned to install, he again went over the details with us as he was installing. I had expected to request non-standard boxes of higher quality than the basic, but the basic was so solid, and looked so good, that I didn't have to. Price? We ended up using Scott because the contractor wanted to charge 2 to 3 times as much for the same work, which would have been no better than Scott's. Bottom line: I highly recommend and would use him again.

Scott came 6 weeks prior to the installation to take measurements and determine what was needed. I had deep lower shelves. Items stored in the back were difficult to access. The cabinets were approximately 21 inches wide, and had a center post. Scott made a suggestion which allowed me access to a great deal more space. The work was completed in the promised time frame, and installed within two hours. Beautiful large drawers replaced my inconvenient shelves. After seeing his work, my daughter wants Scott to do a similar installation in her house at the appropriate time.

Sliders were put into the shelves. Scott did a wonderful job.

8 slide-out shelves were installed in existing cabinets. No problems were encountered during the installation. I thought it should have cost somewhat less.

Went very well. Service was excellent. Scott arrived on time. Went over different options he could offer. Did a professional job of construction & installation. I will be contacting Scott for all of my future storage problems where shelving would be helpful. Recommendation A+

Very fine work. Scott sets a high standard for himself. He returned to redo some shelves he was not satisfied with. A real craftsman, who takes pride and joy in his work. Friendly, courteous, and very professional.

Can't say enough good things about this experience. From initial contact with Scott Becker (owner), to in-home consultation, through installation- this was a pleasurable job well done. Our kitchen pantry is narrow and deep, which means that it's very difficult to see anything beyond what's right in front when you open the cabinet. Not only could we not see what was in the middle or deep in the back, but whenever we brought home groceries, we'd just pile more in front. This made a disorganized mess where we had no idea what was in the middle or back, and in some cases the food went bad and created a smell in the house. Scott created slide-out shelving which now come completely out of the cabinet frame. The shelves are of sturdy quality and can easily handle the weight of anything we'd ever put on them. The slider rails are of a thick, heavy steel and they glide easily. They also "pull" the drawers closed in the last inch or so - this avoids damage from slamming closed. He also put rubber "bumpers" on each shelf so that there's no damage accidentally caused in cases where the cabinet door might hit into an open shelf. Although it may seem trivial, he was incredibly organized as evidenced by an immaculately organized toolbox. It was so irregular to see this level of organization by a contractor, that we even had a discussion about it and he told me that he'd lose his mind if he kept his equipment in anything less than perfectly organized condition. It's my belief that this speaks highly to the PRIDE he takes in his work. Additionally, Scott BROUGHT HIS OWN brooms, dustpans, and brushes so that he was able to leave the job in same (Better?? LOL) condition as when he came in. As a career salesman myself, I can tell you that Scott is definitely NOT. He didn't create any pressure, nor did he recommend anything outside of his actual suggestions to solve our problem. Strong quality, clean work, fair price- performed by a generally very nice guy. Hire this dude!

The wording on Angie's list is: $199 for $500 of Custom Glide-Out Shelving for Existing Cabinetry and ... What this means is $500 off at the end of the job, the price of which is to be determined. I thought that knowing that it was a 4-shelf closet pantry would suffice. It did not. I'm disappointed and find the offer somewhat deceptive.

Scott Becker is reliable. I called Scott for an appointment, he explained how long the project would take , and scheduled me for a date to have work done. He kept the date scheduled , and to the time frame we discussed. His instillation was just what I requested.

Scott is FANTASTIC! ! ! ! ! Buying a new home can be scary, having unexpected repairs come up even scarier and finding a total stranger to come into your home to help you with repairs is downright anxiety inducing. After searching around Angie's List and other "list" sites I found Shelf Concepts and sent an email. From the first response I knew this was my guy. His prompt, courteous and professional response immediately set me at ease. I was even more pleased on the actual work day. He showed up exactly at the time promised and proceeded to do his work. He completed the job in a very timely manner and left the place clean and ready. Inspecting the job afterwards proved I made the right choice. Top notch work from a top notch local vendor.

Scott did a great job. His prep and cutting of closet wall and shelves was done outside, therefore no dust in house. He was neat and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely use Scott for future projects

I worked with Scott over a year ago on a project and then when I realized I had all these left over carpentry projects to complete after the long renovations from Sandy, I thought of Scott. Friendly, considerate, precise, cleans up all after... really took the time to do the right thing vs. the quick thing. He also took the time to walk me through what he would do and confirm I was good with it. Just one of the good guys that you trust in your home to do the project right. Thank you !!! :)
