They had a big crew and the work went faster than I expected. Final result was excellent. The workers were all very professional. The equipment they used was top notch. The driveway has a horseshoe at the front, a straight section off the horseshoe down to the garage and a turning apron at the bottom in front of the two car garage. They did a great job of edging and cleaning the old driveway before repaving. The driveway looks great with a very even surface with no seams visible. It looks like one continuous surface. They were careful to keep my lawn areas clean and at the end of the project even cleaned the roadway in front of my property.

They pulled up my old driveway, built up an area to ensure the new drive way was level, placed the new driveway and reseeded all in one day. Quoting was timely, by the proprietor. Job execution was delayed, by this spring's wet weather, not by ANY fault of BDB Paving...Katie and other staff regularly communicated re the delays. When the monsoons broke, the team deployed effectively, excavated efficiently, with NO damage to non-project related bits of the property. They cleared the perimeter walkway/patio area of vegetation -- which to me was not even their scope -- and did so efficiently, without damaging the many nearby perennials. The project then went into another hold phase as the rainy season returned. Katie continued to let me know of schedule regularly. During this time the old driveway ashphalt was gone, new crushed stone et al bed was in place and settling. I was instructed to use my driveway as normal. Again, the team threaded the weather needle, mobilized a crew once the sun returned for just long enough for them to roll the tar -- and it looked great!

Great, we approved price on the previous week, they showed up on time on Monday. Work was very neat and solid, edges were crisp, taper to road and walks are perfect. Even rolled a little further onto my path to the back property.

They seal coated my driveway in the fall. Initially, I thought it was decent job. They left swirl marks in the sealcoat, but I hoped they would disappear with time. Little did I know! During spring clean up most of the sealcoat had come off over the winter. Literally, tiny black flakes all over my yard and little sealcoat on my driveway. I called to complain and was told that is typical. I do use a snow blower on my driveway, but so do all my neighbors and their driveways do not suffer the same effect. They certainly do not get seal coated every year.

Our driveway was in great disrepair so we called several companies to give us an estimate for removal and replacement. We decided to give our business to BDB because of their reasonable quote, professionalism, and their ability to do the job within our timeframe. When the crew came to our home they were all very polite and worked hard. They had the right equipment to do the job. During our project we requested a change and BDB was very accommodating and still completed the job within their original timeline. They outlined the changes and asked us several times to check if we liked the new outline of the driveway. Everyone that worked for BDB was great from the the workers, the managers to the office staff. On several occasions we emailed questions that were promptly answered by the office personnel. BDB did a fantastic job! They were prompt, worked hard, and built a driveway that looks like it will last for many years. Just as important, they suggested some alterations and changes which will make using the driveway far easier when leaving the garage. This is a large driveway, with both a straight portion into the garage as well as a circular portion in front. After this positive experience, I recommend them highly. BDB is the ONLY company to use!

Contacted BDB paving through Angie's List along with two other A-listed paving contractors. Tim Hayes, their estimator, got back to us the same day and made his measurements and e-mailed his detailed estimate within a few days. Our driveway is on a very busy street (NY Rt 7), about 300 ft long and rises fairly steeply in a sweeping curve and presented a logistical nightmare for BDB. BDB's crew showed up at 7:00AM on the appointed day and completed the job by 4 PM on the same day. I was amazed. Fortunately we needed only a single coat of asphalt over the crushed stone base over the hundred year-old concrete original driveway.

They showed up when they said they would and that always seems to be a hard thing to come by these days. There were probably 10 men, ALL working with a machine or a tool in hand. Worked hard and fast. Really listened to what we wanted and expected. Part of the paving was next to our lawn and they edged the grass so that it came out nice and straight. We also had a stone wall that butted up against the asphalt and they didn't get any on it. Very careful. They only thing I would say is they need to pay more attention to how the water will run off. We had them build up more around our garage door so water wouldn't flow in and we felt they should of noticed that.

They did a good job and worked with our schedule to have it done over vacation. Would call them again

This review is over a year after I had the new driveway installed and a recent seal coat. I am very happy with it. My driveway was a challenge for them, since the driveway was very narrow, but they did a great job. I was so impressed with them that I hired them again to seal coat my driveway a year from the install. Again, I was pleased with their work. I would definitely consider them in the future.

-request for estimate was made by phone on 5/13/2016 to BDB's office (Katie) this was 1 of 3 requests for proposals for this home project -met with BDB paving architect (Henry) 10AM 5/16/2016 -signed BDB contract 5/24/2016 for work to be completed "end of June" -call from BDB (Chelsea) on 7/11/2016 notification of work to be completed afternoon 7/14/2016 forecast for temps 85F-90F w/severe afternoon thunderstorms -BDB crew of six arrived 10AM 7/14/2016 and worked non-stop to completion at 3PM, storm w/heavy rain began 3:15PM -BDB (Katie) called next morning to confirm satisfaction and ask if any concerns -BDB paving architect (Henry) arrived 11AM to inspect work completed and receive payment BDB was very professional, punctual, courteous and respectful of the property. All equipment appeared to be in great working order. Everything the job required BDB supplied. The crew worked quietly and efficiently and left when finished with no debris or damage to the lawn or surrounding property. All calls, concerns and questions were dealt by the BDB office in a prompt and courteous manner. Everything was explained clearly and concisely. Quality of the workmanship was better than expected. BDB obviously has a very high standard of community business ethic and we would unconditionally recommend their services. We intend to use them again in the future if the need arises.

I am very pleased with BDB paving, They paved my driveway last year and sealcoated it this year. If you are looking for CHEAP, this is not the company for you. But, if you are seeking high quality and professionalism these are the folks. Katie & Chelsea in the office do a great job of outlining their services. An estimator is sent and you get a price which was a bit above the average, but not the highest. I was very pleased from start to finish with the paving and sealcoating. I recommend them most highly and I can also say that my neighbors have used them as well and are similarly pleased.

BDB Paving returned by call right away and came to give me an estimate, I had 2 other estimates and they were the cheapest. We made the appointment and they showed up but it was later in the day, which wasnt an issue but I thought they were coming earlier. When I got home that night I noticed right away that something didnt look right in the middle of my driveway, everything else looked great. I called them the next day and ask if someone could come and take a look at it and see if they could fix it. They sent someone to look at it and I got a call back saying they were going to redo the whole driveway for free. I was shocked but very happy to hear that, I thought they would just fix the place that was an issue but they redid the job within a couple of days and it looks wonderful, I didnt want to drive on it. Chelsa was very nice on the phone and was prompt with her responses. I would hire them again.

I can't say enough good things about this company. If you are looking for a family owned business, with great communication, fair prices, and prompt friendly service, then BDB is your company. They are incredibly knowledgeable. The gentleman that came out to give us a quote on driveway replacement was incredibly thorough and the price quote was more than fair. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change our plans and just seal coat this year. When we called to schedule the seal coat they were there that afternoon! BDB didn't come out and just spray my driveway with a thin layer of garbage spray coat. They applied a very thick layer of seal coat by hand and put it on incredibly well. You literally can't even see the lines where they applied it. My driveway looks brand new. They also didn't get a single drop of seal coat on my garage, my house, or my yard. I can't say enough good things about this company and they have my business for life. Absolutely fantastic.

When I get the service done, I will comment on this. I am confident things will go very well!
