Description of Work: Installed window A/C unit. Ace was easy to deal with. They showed up on time as promised (rare for A/C companies in NYC). I did pay list for the unit but this included installation and removal of old unit.

Description of Work: He checked the temperature of our air-conditioners, vacuumed them, changed the filters and answered some questions we had. He was very satisfactory in all ways and we were very happy to have had the recommendation and "special" from Angie's List.

Description of Work: I called in am to tell them they were Ac wall units. Operator said they do not service those types. Cancelled service. They showed up anyway we're very nice but then left. Would appreciate a credit since I had told them what they were going to service

Description of Work: Removed, evaluated, and cleaned my 10 year old air conditioner. I'm pleased with the results however their intake procedure needs to be tightened up. Not all my information was taken over the phone which contributed to a significant delay picking up my unit. The return went smoothly. Other than the delay, I was very pleased with the service.

Description of Work: This company, Ace Air Conditioning, has thus far been highly satisfactory. The installation of two new Friedrich air conditioners was done speedily and very professionally. Serving only residential clients, the installers were prepared to wear booties over their street work shoes inside the apartment. The planned appointment hour was confirmed in the morning and met. Although I could have gotten better unit pricing at well known "big box" companies, I am very pleased with Ace's overall performance. Additionally, the company can also provide |seasonal removal, cleaning and storage of each unit as a per season non-committal fee service. No pushy hard sell program which is a big plus in my book. So I may have a follow up review in the fall.

Description of Work: i called looking for someone who would refill my freeon in an old air conditioner- i have gates and this air conditioner just fits- so yuri quoted my a price- ok, i was willing to spend it, for reasons stated above. he said he would be by to pick it up- no, i couldn't bring it to him- have it packed and ready to go. i did all that- and waited- he never showed- i called or he called and we booked another time- he didn't show-

Description of Work: Very professional. Came on time. Returned phone calls. We had a ten your old Friedreich and they explained that if they couldn't fix it we would need a new one. Very honest. They fixed the old one and returned it in 2 days.

Description of Work: Friedrich through the wall air conditioner stopped cooling, 4 years into 5 year cooling system warranty. ACE came to look at the unit, then scheduled pickup for estimation and repair.
