I knew I was hiring Temperature Zone within the first 5 minutes of our consultation. Kevin and Sal came to my location, listened to my concerns, did a thorough inspection of my space and sent over a quote within a week. Shortly after, they began my project. They were on time, set up tarps where ever they would be working, they were respectful/mindful of everything around them, nothing was done carelessly, nothing was scratched or dinged or dirtied. Everything was done meticulously. Best of all no loud radio was brought on the jobsite and I was able to work while they did what they needed to do. Upon finishing each day they would do a thorough job cleaning up as well. I would absolutely use them again and I recommend them to anyone that needs any HVAC work done.

Kevin replaced a boiler that was at least 70 years old. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Professional, efficient, when they were done, there was not a single trace of anything left behind. On top of that, they price was right. Highly recommended.

The central A/C unit decided to break down this past Labor Day weekend. My daughter suggested Temperature Zone as they had been to her house recently and she was thrilled with them. Kevin, the owner, left his BBQ on Monday to respond to my house. The diagnosis and repair were labor intensive. He returned the next day and finished the repairs with the necessary parts along with his son Sal. The unit is now running great and I can't thank Kevin and Sal enough for their expertise. I would highly recommend both Kevin and Sal for any heating or HVAC problems. They are honest, knowledgeable, and very fairly priced.

He solved my issue of the water that was over flowing to my house, he said it was clogged. I had mold in my flex tube and he replaced it.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and they were wonderful.

Review went well. Provider tried to adjust dampers to help flow. Improved but still an overall issue with system that needs more review. Would probably be done with New AC purchase.

He looked at the equipment, we have central air in two zones, checked the pressure on the freon and all was fine. Made two suggestions for cleaning and left. Two days later when we turned the upstairs unit on it did not work. Hot air was blowing. Keep in mind the system worked fine at the end of last year. I called and emailed to let him know and that we needed his services as soon as possible because the unit wasn't working. It took his assistant three days to respond with "Kevin had to go out of state for an emergency and is gonna be gone till the second week of July." This was May 31st We got in touch with a prior company that serviced our equipment and they came a few days later. Upon inspection the worker said your system has absolutely no freon in it. That cost me $1,150 to fix. I believe that this provider made a mistake when looking at my system, whether on purpose or not, and did not own up to it. I would never recommend this company to anyone. It is now September and this provider has not contacted me. I will be pursuing legal action to resolve this.

GEntleman arrived & inspected my units - I did not know that since it's 2 condensers, and I only purchased one coupon, I would be charged an add'l $135.78! There was nothing wrong & he was gone in 20 min. Several days later I rec'd the add'l bill for $135.78. Since all I could see was an inspection I'm not sure what the tune-up was.

Kevin checked everything and ultimately found a very bad case of mold buildup on the coil. I had him come back to clean it and he made the system run like new.

Kevin was very helpful and personal. I told him how some rooms were too hot with hardly any a/c while other Rooms were so cold, you couldn't stay in them. He found that the original install (3years ago) of some vents were Either bypassed and not connected,while others were all blowing in the same room. He also said that the unit was A much more LESS EFFICIENT than the house size calls for. Therefore my electric bill are through the roof! Nothing I can do about it now. he redirected the vents properly so air would flow evenly. he offered suggestions how to keep costs down and a few maintenance tips. All in all.....I have to say that Kevin did the right thing and I plan to call him when needed. he spent extra time, And wouldn't take anything extra for his trouble. (that's rare today) I am a widow raising 3 kids alone and Before joining Angie's list, I can't You how many contractors of all types took advantage of my situation. The first scheduled appointment had to be cancelled due to an unexpected break-down of the service vehicle. However, Kevin was right on time for the next appointment. If you are looking for honesty, integrity and professionalism, then Temperature Zone is the company to turn to. Kevin was thorough and clearly explained everything he did. I have had my air conditioning units serviced every year by the men who installed the system. My mistake! All along I was told that there were drip pans under the units in the attic and that the units were equipped with a shut-off device should the pans become filled with water. I was very concerned about this as my neighbor had extensive damage to her ceilings and walls as there was no safety shut-off device on her unit. I did not want this problem and so repeatedly questioned my former servicemen about this. I decided to use Temperature Zone Inc. this year and am I glad I did! Kevin showed me that I had no pans nor any safety shut-off devices! He was also far more thorough in checking both units, testing the temperature output and carefully explaining everything he tested. Kevin will be installing drip pans and safety shut-off devices on both air conditioning units so I won't have to worry about water damage being done by this system. I found Kevin to be very informative and very professional. I was extremely pleased with the service I received and will definitely use Kevin in the future!

Kevin DeTurris was right on time and spent the time explaining to me the in's and out's of things that he was doing. He recognized an issue with the drainage and some minor spore growth which he spent the time explaining what this means as well as offering up responses. I chose to go with the acid cleaning of the inside and outside unit to address the issue. I would recommend their service to anyone.

Kevin came down the next day. I had used the deal coupon, but the original price was still better than what my installing company would have charged.

I contacted many companies in the following weeks after the storm to get an estimate but did not receive any calls. That was until I contacted Kevin from Temperature Zone Inc. from Farmingdale who quickly called me back to set up an appointment. He arrived at the scheduled appointment on time and assessed the damage and repair cost. His estimate was reasonable and detailed . He told me he was going to be able to do the job soon because he had the new boiler and hot water heater. He came in with his partner and made the repairs in two days. I was extremely happy with his work and of finally having heat and hot water.

From start to finish they have been reliable! and honest!!
