I called and left a message. Tom returned my call. I described the problem. Tom seemed confident he knew exactly what the problem was. He said he was going out of town but would send his partner, his brother, Jim, on the following day. Tom kept us informed as to when Jim would be here. Arrived within the time and was able to diagnose problem. Jim went to get the part and was back within a short time and completed the job to my complete satisfaction. I would hire this company again, for sure.

I received an initial callback. Tech suggested a possible fix. I tried what he told me to do, and reported to him his suggestion did not work. Never heard from him again.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Tom at Tc repair!! He was excellent, courteous, on time and pleasant! He saved me a ton of money by fixing my dryer and identified that my brand new Maytag washer had the motor seal malfunction and blow oil everywhere. My transmission pulley and drive belt stopped working because the grease destroyed them. He thought because the motor was under warranty Maytag would fix the other two issues as well as it was caused by the motor. No such luck. Not only did they refuse to fix or replace the other two parts I would have to pay for a professional service company to come out for 140 and then the labor plus parts. I called Tc repair back and he is going to fix the issues and have the company send me the motor. He is being extremely reasonable in cost and is likely doing the job for next to nothing at this point. He also helped consult with an issue that has been plaguing my refrigerator. He identified the cause of our issue within moments of seeing it! Tom also stopped by to help us with a refrigerator a few years back and also provided us with excellent service then! His prices a few years ago couldnâ t be beat and the same is still true! If you are looking to save money and have the work done correctly definitely give Tom a call at TC appliance! I am extremely satisfied with him and his service and will be calling him for all my future needs! His prices, expertise, and polite demeanor canâ t be beat! He takes the stress out of a stressful costly appliance repair! The BEST in the capital region and Iâ m an extremely hard to please person! He goes above and beyond every time!

Tom was excellent. He asked about the problem when I called and brought the necessary parts with him. He was fast, efficient and reasonable. I will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Tom was very friendly and quick to respond to my call and described what he thought was the problem. Came the next day to fix my refrigerator and was right on with his diagnosis. Tom is busy but responded very quickly to our request for a quote. He arrived the same day - turned out he was working that Sunday. He explained everything he was doing. He was very familiar with the mechanics of the washing machine. Saved us a trip to the laundromat!

Called Fri morning and Tom sourced the part and had it repaired that night, partly because he had worked on another problem, near me, but, to get it taken care of quickly he put in the OT. Great job and at a fair price !

Tom was great! Due to issues with our refrigerator, we requested an appliance repair company on Angieâ s List around 6 PM. Tom contacted us within 2 hours, asked many pertinent diagnostic questions over the phone, and gave us some possibilities as to the cause and the various solution options. He then stopped by the same evening around 9 PM and confirmed his hypothesis and plan. He came back the next morning by 10 AM and completed the repair. This fixed the problem and he charged a reasonable fair price. We now have an appliance repair person for the next time we run into an issue!

Tom was prompt, reasonable and efficient. He returned 2 more times, until he resolved my refrigerator issue. He still calls periodically to check if the refrigerator is still running correctly. Tom promptly called to question the problem at hand with my washing machine. We set up an appointment. He was on time, introduced himself, diagnosed the problem, and gave me a quote. He also discussed the make, age and worthiness of the repair. We chose to repair the machine. He called a few days later and then one week later to make sure the machine was working properly. We would definitely recommend Tom to others.

If there were a 10 star I would give it to Tom. Great customer service and was over prepared. Yes that's what I said OVER prepared. You don't find that quality of service any more. We put in the request over the holiday weekend and guess what he called. That was the first impression. We requested service on our 12 year old LG dryer that had stopped heating. He gave us a quote and said he could come out the next day . He was running a little late so called to let us know which was very much appreciated. He knew what the 2 possible causes could be and came with both solutions as well as a belt that he thought might need to be replaced...he was right. He is fair, considerate of your time, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Tom to anyone that is looking for appliance repair. Thanks Tom!!!

when I first read all the 5 star reviews I thought he had all his friends and relatives give the wonderful reviews. However, Tom is the best repairman I ever had. He showed up and knew just what the problem was. Ordered the parts and fixed my fridge. It saved me from buying a new one and I'm so grateful. Very courteous and pleasant young man. If I ever need him I won't hesitate to call. He even called today (2 weeks later) to check and see if it was working. Nice service.

Tom was very responsive and fit me in the next day and worked around my schedule. He fixed my washer even though it was very difficult he charged me what he quoted me, did not charge more because it took longer. Great guy.

Tom communicated very well via text, even on a Saturday. Met with my property manager on Monday and diagnosed the issue with the dishwasher very, very quickly. My property manager said that Tom knows his stuff when it came to appliances. For sure, I am keeping his as one of my favorites, should I need appliance assistance again.

Tom was awesome. Came the day I called and told me honestly that putting Freon in might or might not help. I said let's try it and it worked. He called me that night to see how the freezer was working and then the next morning. I would strongly recommend him and definitely call him in the future. Tom came when he said he would and was very pleasant to deal with. He was straight forward and upfront with his assessment of the situation and what was required to fix it. Even though it wasn't the outcome I hoped for, I appreciated his honesty and responsiveness.
