Description of Work: The Anode in my water heater needed replacing. I had the anode but needed it to be professionallly fitted. I called The Water Heater Man who quoted me $90.00. They arrived on time the next morning and did a good, clean job. A corroded pipe also needed replacing, hence the extra $10,00. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I shall use them again for all my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Clogs in two hot water outlets were misdiagnosed by earlier plumber...attributed to faulty water softener. Nothing wrong with that appliance. Seemed more likely to be a problem with the water heater. Called top of Angie's list, MC Plumbing, but they apparently weren't interested, since they quoted $250 to simply show up, with no guarantee anything could be done. Called The Water Heater man, farther down the list. Quote was reasonable, appointment made for next morning. Plumber arrived on time, replaced the anode rod, installed a ball joint valve to facilitate maintenance flushing, all the time patiently explaining to me what he was doing and why. Work was done skillfully and efficiently... job cleaned up well....and offered advice on maintenance. Price was certainly fair, including cost of the rod and fittings Not sure of plumber's actual name, but said to call him Junior. I recommend him highly.

"The Water Heater Man" honored the warranty of a water heater company that isn't part of their product list. The installer was prompt and courteous.

 + -1 moreWhen he was removing the water heater with a dolly, he scratched the tile floor in the bathroom. It is a shiny surface and looked like a dirty mark. He took pictures and the company offered me $40 for the damage. I said it would cost more than that to hire someone to fix it. They reluctantly agreed to pay for the cost of replacing only the 2 tiles. They would not get a tile person to do the job and I have not been able to do that yet. The hot water heater connection was leaking so another repairman came out to tighten the connection. He looked at the damaged tile and said he could fix it. He thought it could be 'buffed out' and took steel wool to the scratches and enlarged them quite a bit.
Description of Work: Replaced broken water heater with one that I had purchased.

Quoted me a installation price of $260 assuming the water heater was still under warranty. Called ahead and arrived at time arranged. Installed the water heater including new earthquake straps required by code. Overall great quick, quality service and stuck to quote given above. Would be a repeat customer.

They were prompt in returning phone calls, and arrived on time. The work was done in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Water Heater Man promptly returned our call, and gave us an estimate on a new water heater and wall bracket. They arrived right on time the next day, and the technician replaced the water heater, installed the necessary brackets, cleaned up his mess, took away the old heater, and answered all of my questions.

 + -1 moreThe water heater guy showed up less than three hours after I called him. He got right to work and did the job fast and efficient. The inspector came out to inspect it and he said it was a good job. The price was a little high, but you pay for what you get. He cleaned up all the mess.
Description of Work: I had a new hot water heater installed in my garage. He took out the old one and hauled it off.
