Simply put if you need tile installed, this is the company to call. I called several companies and Bob was the only one that actually showed up for an estimate . The other company, Team Tile & Stone, forgot about my appointment. After 5 days of installation, I love the results! The crew was always on time and very professional. This crew looked like professional tile installers and they definitely knew what they were doing. The work was great and the price was right.

They were excellent. It was beautiful. He did a lot of work for us. He put in tile on my living room. He actually renovated our master bedroom, put tile down, he moved shower and reversed with a toilet. I would absolutely use them again.

After a minor issue with the tile, Bob quickly addressed the concern and resolved the problem in less than 24 hours! The workers who have installed the tile all 3 times have always been friendly, professional, and extremely hard-working individuals. I appreciate their skill in tile installation and have never received such good service from any other company in Las Vegas. I highly recommend ES Design for any flooring needs!

Very well. It was a lengthy process, due to the amount of tile installation, but the end result was worth it. There were some concerns of damaged baseboard when workers removed the old tile, but Bob immediately addressed the concern and handled it promptly! Bob is very professional and has a staff who is dedicated and are true artists in their work. We plan to use Bob's services in the future for all of our flooring needs. I highly recommend Bob.

Excellent service. Responded quickly with an estimate, and within a few days were doing the job required. The workers were craftmen dedicated to their tiling work. Arrived on time, quickly got to work, very clean hauling away old carpet and residue, The owner was extremly helpful in suggesting tile colors and style to complement my home. It doesn't get any better than this for the price.

Great group to work with. Every employee from the owner down, was prompt, professional, and most of all VERY good at providing top quality installation of these products. All questions were answered, product attributes were explained, and the project went without any hitches. I've recommended them to two others for their projects. Loved working with Bob Ahrens and all of his employees.

Bob and his team were EXCELLENT from the initial contact to the end of the job. We had a few hiccups during the job such as sub flooring that needed leveling (some sub flooring even needed replacing) and every time we addressed these issues, the crew handled it very professionally. Additionally, the hubby is freakishly picky and knows exactly what he wants. Bob's crew was always professional with his nit picking and did not complain when he asked the crew to redo a floorboard, baseboard, tile, or crown molding because of a manufacturing defect or some other "flaw" not seen by anyone but the hubby. Bob showed up at the job with the crew almost every day, and the crew was reliable and professional. We plan to hire Bob again for another flooring job and have referred him to friends and family.

I was SO impressed with the professionalism of this company. Bob came out to quote the job, talked extensively with me about my expectations and made suggestions on how to improve the job. He emailed a contract to me promptly and we set a date for install. His installers were very friendly, polite and perfectionists, They involved me in the decision-making to assure I got exactly the look I envisioned. Lastly they had to custom stain pliable moulding to finish off the curved stairway. They were very receptive to slight variations I wanted. Overall, I couldn't give higher praise to this company and their work ethic. I am already making plans to have them back to do a second area. How refreshing to work with a company that actually appreciates the customer. . A++ in my book!

It went flawless! Bob was very quick in responding to our calls and arrived to take measurements the same day. He had us go to Prosource in town to pick out the materials, which I think is a much better option than just taking a look at the limited amount of samples that someone can bring out in a truck. Bob gave us numerous quotes that included different options for the upstairs and downstairs materials so that we could get the right mix of quality and affordability. I had a quote done from another company as well and chose to go with ES Design (I think because they use Prosource they were able to provide us with more options and ultimately get a higher quality product for the same price). The materials arrived a week later and installation began the next day. The crew was led by Martin, and I have nothing but complements for them. Extremely professional, prompt and industrious. I stuck around the first morning to meet them, but had to work for the rest of the job. I had no issues leaving my wife with Martin and his team, they even assisted her in loading a washer/dryer set that we were selling. The work was conducted/completed according to schedule with no hang-ups that I noticed. The team even worked late on a Saturday so that we could get our furniture back in the downstairs prior to their day off on Sunday. Martin was very knowledgable about home improvements and even helped us make some decisions on updating our kitchen's cabinets. Bob checked in throughout the week and responded quickly to any questions that we had. Overall a great experience!

Picked out the granite on Thursday and the following Tuesday the tear out of the kitchen was done. All of the granite work was done the next day (Wed) and the plumbing was completed the next day (Thur). It is beautiful and the workmanship was excellent. No problems what so ever. Wife is extremely happy. We had Soebbing Flooring completely remodel our master bedroom and bath in June 2013. Removed existing shower insert and relocated it. The water closet was tore out and expanded to make room for the new shower which is completely tiled and has frameless glass doors. Existing tub was removed and a new drop in oval tub with granite surround was installed. Granite was also used for the vanity top with under mounted rectangular sinks. The master bedroom and bathroom floor were tiled using 20x20 tiles. The area previously was carpeted. After that work was done, we had Soebbing Flooring tear out the carpet on the upstairs foyer and install hardwood oak flooring. All of the work was done perfectly and with no delays. We are extremely happy to have a contractor like Bob Ahrens.

It went very smoothly without any issue. only one time, somehow some material was missing and the contractor did not say anything just immediately got more to replace the loss.

The company was very easy to work with and the crew were just a joy to have around.....the men were professional in every way and did a beautiful job. My wood floor is still getting rave reviews from all who walk into my house and see the floor for the first time. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again myself.... I was in a bind after my ex didn't finish laying the tile. Soebb flooring gave me a reasonable quote on a free estimation and had the job done within days. The workers were polite and friendly as well as respectful of keeping my house clean. I don't remember the exact date and cost from a year ago.

I can safely say that this has been the best experience that I ever had with a contrcator. It was my first time hiring one for any major housework and through Angie's List. Bob from ES Design is a professional to the core. He came, gave me an estimate, followed up, and based on all the different estimates I got I know Bob was the guy because of his past reviews, prompt responses to my questions and price. I had him put in new granite countertops (granite), backsplash and the whole downstairs floor (Tile). His team is very skilled in what they do and really paid attention to all the details. We went and picked the material, paid for and his guys picked them up on the first day. They completed the work on time and even did some extras. Kitchen looks great and so does the floor. Overall I would give him an A+ and would recommned him to anyone with no hesitation. I will be doing the upper floor and staircase in a few months and Bob will be my contractor for that as well.

Asked for him to visit our home for a quote. He came on time and gave us a quote promptly. We also received quotes from 2 other contractors but decided Bob was the most professional and thorough. He sent us to a third party flooring provider where we chose the hardwood species and color. Bob immediately ordered the flooring, had it delivered and completed the job within 10 days. His price was competitive and the work was excellent.

First, I feel it is important to note that I have utilized services of 3 separate Angie's List vendors/contractors. This is the third review I have submitted. I rated one company as average as their services were average. I rated one company as stellar as their services were stellar from start to finish. I WILL ALWAYS SUBMIT HONEST AND FAIR REVIEWS AS I FEEL IT IS THE GOAL OF ANGIE'S LIST TO HAVE ONLY FAIR AND HONEST REVIEWS. The outcome of the marble installation was ok. I used 12x24 marble and had it installed in a herringbone pattern. Grout lines are even, marble looks nice. . If readers or Angie's list would like a copy of my dated detail, I am willing to provide it. I have documentation of any issues that occurred during this project. Some issues minor, some major. I am not here to trash Bob or his company. I am here to write a fair review. I would like to be able to trust the advertising placed on Angie's List going forward and assume other consumers wish to be able to trust the ads as well. MY BIG ISSUE WITH THIS VENDOR IS THAT HE DID NOT HONOR HIS ANGIE'S LIST AD/COUPON. I PRESENTED COUPON WHEN I WAS COLLECTING BIDS. I PRESENTED COUPON AGAIN AT END OF JOB WHEN FINAL BILL WAS BROUGHT UP. BOB REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE COUPON. THE COUPON WAS GOOD/NOT EXPIRED. THE COUPON HAD ONLY ONE RESTRICTION, THAT THE JOB EXCEED $2,000. THE JOB EXCEEDED $10,000.00. THERE WERE NO OTHER RESTRICTIONS OR CONDITIONS NOTED ON THE COUPON. ALL OTHER VENDORS THAT I HAVE UTILIZED FROM ANGIE'S LIST HAVE HONORED THEIR ADS AND THEIR COUPONS.

I first contacted ES Design Flooring Specialists on 2/28/13 to lay porcelain tile throughout my home. I spoke with Bob Ahrens and he came out that very day to take all the measurements and give me an estimate for the job. At that time he suggested I have the tile laid in a diamond pattern. Great suggestion! The crew of Daniel, Joe, and Marco started the job on 3/11/13 and finished a week later on 3/18/13. They laid just a tad under 2,000 square feet of tile in that time. These guys were true professionals from start to finish. Courteous, hard working, punctual, and with skills! Each day I was amazed at how much they got accomplished. They tore up all the old carpet and linoleum and hauled it off at no additional expense. They also moved all the furniture out of their way and returned it to it's original place as the work was completed, also at no additional expense. In addition to all the wonderful tile work they did for me, they also replaced the old toilets torn out of the bathrooms with new ones I had purchased. Also at no additional expense. As I look around me at the finished job, I am ecstatic with the results! What a wonderful job these guys did! Trust me, if you are considering any kind of a tile job for your home, ES Design Flooring Specialists is who you want to hire.

The tile was installed perfectly level to each other and the grout lines were perfectly aligned. The installation was in the living room/dining room and the total job only took three days.

Bob and his guys laid tile in our last house and when we bought a new house we didn't hesitate to call anyone else. Bob came over to measure the house and we explained what we wanted and got his input. He showed us pictures of previous houses he had installed the same type of tile and brought in a few different samples for us to compare. We also had him give us an estimate for the upstairs bathroom also. When Bob and his guys came over to start work we were happy to see some of the same guys that installed tile into our last house. The workers even laid a piece of plywood in the driveway in case their vehicle might have leaked. After the job was complete the guys washed the walls and made sure everything was cleaned up in the garage. We couldn't be happier with our floors and a lot of people come over or see pictures can't tell that it isn't real wood.

Bob was a pleasure to deal with. Extremely knowledgeable and patient with stupid questions. His guys did a great job and their attention to detail was excellent. They replaced all the tile in the kitchen and installed some beautiful engineered hardwood floors throughout the rest of the ground floor of my home.

They showed up on time kept the house real clean did all the cutting out side finished in the three days as they promised I would recommend Bob to any one who is thinking about new flooring
