Something must have happened with the owner because we started with him as one of his first clients and he was great until 2014ish. Then things went down hill fast- lies, random maintenance charges, house left in disrepair, nothing was getting fixed, tenants had all sorts of non sanctioned subletters, house was vacant for 4 months. It got bad. really really bad. I would not hire or recommend at all. We LOST A LOT OF MONEY because of turnkey/ Nate.

Description of Work: Price was one of the lowest, but the responsiveness was horrible. I was always told to talk to Nate or Nate would get a hold of me and to be honest not sure if Nate exsisted.

UPDATE: On 2/12/15, I received an email from TKPS? Nathan Vidrine. He wrote ?I have checked with the staff they would have returned this check [referring to the $176 money order we put through their mail slot on 1/31/15 for January's prorated rent] to you as it was made out to turn key you make your rent out to saticoy bay LLC at this point you will need to put a stop payment on this check and reissue one to us? (sic). We did make it out to Turn Key, so if it was going to be sent back to us for that reason, we would have received it by now (when I later paid them the $176 through PayLease, my account showed that it went to ?TURNKEYPROPERTYS,? which meant that Vidrine had lied to me. On this same day I went to the post office that we received the money order from and got a ?Money Order Inquiry,? and was told by the postal employee at the window that it takes up to 60 to resolve lost or stolen money order issues. On TKPS? site it shows that our account was ?created? on 1/22/15, even though we weren?t able to access it until 2/10/15. In my initial review, I mentioned that it took between 1/30/15 and 2/10/15 to actually access our account, and that on 2/09/15 we set up an account with PayLease, exercising the option written on page 10 of the lease we signed with them. I was now confident that they did lose track of that $176 money order, so, expecting that the next thing they would do is charge us a late fee, I decided to just pay this amount through the PayLease account instead of waiting to find out what happened to it. On 2/13/15, I received another email from Mr. Vadrine, telling me that ?Pay lease has shut down your account please make future payment through the turnkey website? (sic). When I later accessed our PayLease account the following message appeared: ?Your account has been successfully deactivated.? Why would PayLease deactivate my account without letting me know they were going to and giving me a reason for doing so? It was late on 2/13 (a Friday) when I received Vadrine?s message, so it wasn?t until 2/17, the day after President?s Day, that I was able to contact PayLease about this. On 2/16/15, I got a call from TKPS? maintenance man, Nick Haddajian (he was very reluctant to give his last name), about taking care of the leak in the kitchen sink that we called way back on 2/09 about. He told me that in the first two weeks of moving in, if any repairs are needed they are free of charge. I told him that TKPS never mentioned that. I also told him that the leak needed attention and that I couldn?t wait for him to get back to me so I repaired it myself. He claims that he called our landline and left a message, but that I didn?t return the call. I told him that we didn?t receive any message from him (after we spoke I checked the call history all the way back to 2/07 and did not see his number). So, not only did Vadrine lie to us, his maintenance man did as well. On 2/17/15, I called PayLease to find out why our account had been deactivated. The representative said that they had a note from TKPS, instructing them to ?please refer the tenants to the TKPS website to make payments.? The representative said she couldn?t understand why they would do that because TKPS didn?t cancel their business arrangement with them to receive tenant payments. I thought that if we didn?t have a choice but to go through TKPS? problematic website to pay the rent then I better at least check to see if it was possible, so I went there and used the username and password Vadrine had given us earlier in the week. When I tried to get on their ?Tenant Web Access? the site froze. On the second attempt I was able to access it, but when I clicked on ?Make Payment? the site froze again. On the third try I was able to access the account, but when I clicked on ?Make a Payment,? the following message appeared: ?An error has occurred attempting to process your request.? I tried it again and got the same message. This was much like the experience we had while we were going back and forth with TKPS? Nathan Vadrine when first trying to set up an account with them, and had decided to skip the nonsense and go directly through PayLease. But, for a reason they are not willing to share with us, TKPS is doing what they can to prevent us from using PayLease. We?re now in the process of trying to track down the property owners to let them know what the people who are managing this property are doing.
Description of Work: TKPS continues to plague us with irrational, unexplainable issues.

I had called Nate to discuss my property management need and he offered to stop by the property since his office is a little far for us. I caught him at a bad time, he has his small daughter with him (crying) and said that he has given the babysitter the week off and was going to take his daughter to my property as well. I didn't feel right about that, he would be distracted and it is really not professional. I declined and asked if anyone else in his office can take his place. He said definitely and one of these persons will call me back in a couple of hours. I received no phone call after that. It is amazing to me how many business companies (property management) does not really care to find new clients...

Was not impressed with my interaction with this company. First of all, I would say that if your company is on Angies List, you would want to have all your ducks in a row, because you are going to be reviewed. Just a bit of advice. I called on a Monday morning at 10:00 A.M. the phone rang 7 or 8 times was picked up, and hung up. Called back again and got an answering machine, did not leave a message, because my better judgement said, don't deal with answering machines, either you're doing business or not. Called a third time and got a person on the the phone. I said I had I property I wanted to rent and was calling for information about management services. The response I got was, what do you want to know???? Really? Isn't this where you're supposed to "pitch" your service to me, instead of me having to dig for information? I did manage to get some information regarding fees. Then I was asked what kind of property it was and where it was located, and I was given an opinion about the monthly rent I could expect to collect, sight unseen. It was considerably lower than the rents in my area. I asked if the gentleman I was speaking to was a Real Estate Agent, and he said yes. I then asked if he was basing his opinion on information in the MLS? He said no, I just know my business. At that point I decided to end the call. Their fee of 8% may be a little lower than other companies, but you get what you pay for. I decided to go with another company.
