Wayne arrived on time. After looking at the back of my fridge, he asked me to use MY vacuum cleaner to clean the dust accumulation. He said he doesn’t bring one on his service calls. While trying to locate the leak, he tried looking at the water line without his glasses. And when he did put them on, he still wasn’t sure if it had a crack or not. He said he wasn’t sure if that was the problem, but he decided to order the part anyway. He asked for a $50 down payment, which I gave him. 4 days later, I called him and asked what time he was coming. He beat around the bush, saying he had other obligations, something came up, etc. then asked if he could come after 5 pm. On a Friday night. Then he tells me the part he ordered was double what he thought it would be. Of course he never told me how much it would cost to begin with. He did not generate any confidence in his skill nor was he professional. I called another repairman and had him fix my refrigerator same day. I’m out the $50 but my fridge is working now.
