Response from Wagner Mechanical
Thank you for your review. Wagner Mechanical specializes in doing water heater installations the correct way every time. This includes a City, County, or State Mechanical permit being pulled with an inspection on every installation. All of the Plumbing from the wall out is replaced. Code required expansion tanks are installed. Venting is brought up to code, included. All gas connections are replaced. The unit is completely brought up to current safety codes. All backed by a 10 year tank and 5 years parts and labor warranty, with true 24 hour emergency service available 365 days a year. Most companies only give you a one year labor warranty. A recent report from the Mechanical Code Enforcement Bureau showed that Wagner Mechanical Permitted more than 421 Mechanical Jobs in the last 12 months. It was noted that many of the local Mechanical Contractor's (over 800 contractors) had pulled less than a dozen Permits all year indicating short cuts are being taken. If the installations are not being inspected, you the home owner will not know what is being left out. Always check with your contractor to see what exactly is being replaced and that it is properly being Permitted and Inspected by the proper authorities. You wouldn't pay for 4 new tires and reuse the valve stems. This is the same thing. Your new water heater they installed will heat water, but the job was not done to professional standards.
