After a few days of trying to get comfortable with the handle being on the left side, I called Mike to let him know I needed him to change it over to the right because my sleeve kept getting wet, even after I initially asked him to put the handle on the right side. Every time I've called him, which has been at least ten times, he has had some excuse for me as to why he can't come out and take care of this quick fix. I have been calling him twice a week for the last 5 weeks. I even wrote him a letter. He has yet to come out to take care of this issue.
Description of Work: The Plumbing Shop of West Milford came in and changed out the old faucet. He told his wife I asked him to put the handle in on the left, when I'm right handed.The faucet started to wobble after a couple of weeks and I complained about that too. He refused to come and look at it without a service fee saying he had to look at the site.This back and forth went on for more than two months. I now know he would not come back because he knew he did not install this faucet correctly. I was fortunate enough to have a man from Home Depot come over gratis and see what was the matter with the faucet. He showed me a brass ring with a hole on either side and said that whoever put the faucet in only put the screw on one side and that is why it was wobbling. He turned the faucet to the right and put the two screws into the brass ring (that is what holds the faucet). He commented that the previous plumber did not remove the tape that was on the screw on one side and therefore, could not tighten the second screw so he left it off. Thank God for Home Depot - they stand by what they sell and they want you to be happy, which I am now. I have also made a complaint to The Better Business Bureau about The Plumbing Shop and they said he never bothered to answer their letter. After reading what The Plumbing Shop has stated, I can only say that he is a blantant liar. I never plead poverty to anyone and I did pay him in cash which he insisted on and then denied. He never mentioned any commitment to Hurricane Sandy and he knows he did not install this faucet properly and that is why he is so defensive and arrogant. The letter he is referring to I wrote to ask in a very nice manner if and when he could come and fix the problem. At no time was I erratic. How does he know what, if any, medication, I am on? He should own up to his deficiencies. I have a busy life and have no time or else I would take this man to court for libel and slander.

I would be willing to resolve the clients issue if it was factual. –more below We are in possession of evidence pertaining to this libelous complaint. We are more than willing to provide the proper authority having jurisdiction of this type of complaint against a NJ Licensed Professional. If the faucet is “wobbling” we will schedule a visit to the clients home for an evaluation. If the faucet has a wobble we would attempt to stop it, unless it is wobbling because of site conditions or does not exist a service fee would apply. Due to the unstable manner presented by this client we would request that she have either a priest from her parish or a police officer present at the time of our visit. 1. The work was done 2 months prior to the date started; 2. The cost is highly inflated; 3. Description – Sentence 1 is factual, the rest is fiction; 4. The client was given a 50% discount because she claims to have no money. The job was done & the client drove to our office 7 days later to pay the invoice. (no complaint) 5. We were contacted sometime in December about the handle issue but not about a wobble. We were committed to Sandy Storm Relief and told the client that we will try to set time but a fee would be applied, and she understood why. 6. We received a “crazy” letter. During another phone she apologized and blamed her erratic behavior on new meds. 7. I can guarantee her phone records if reviewed would not show 10 calls to us. Unfortunately this long time client may be having personal issues.
