Installed wrong system than agreed on. Had to change whole system and came out numerous time to get it working right. No heat now and customer service refuse to help. Have a leak in ac system at end of the season, they came out to refill the freon and charged me all this money to do a leak check with dye to find the leak and said to call them at the start of next season to find the leak. I call them at the start of the season and they came out and said that it is impossible to find a leak as the dye test had to be done right away, so the freon and the dye which was about $1,000 all was wasted as tech lied or did not care, which is why big companies like this are bad, as they sub contract work, will never be the same person and they just con you out of money because they are big and do not care.

Our ac has been broken for 5 days where we have a temperature above 95 f. We bought ac unit with a j Perry with a 10-year service agreement/warranty. they gave me an appointment after 5 days of waiting and did not resolve the issue when I am giving a call they are giving me the next appointment after 10 days. Seriously this is joking that in 5 years first time system not functioning and where we need their help they are busy helping new customers but have no obligations to old customers. I wish I can give 0 or minus

Was told we needed a new heating pump after two visits 1st person claimed it was our electrical panel and did not even look at it! But still charges. 2nd person told us it could not be fixed and needed a new heating pump at 14,000 dollars it was installed., stopped working tech came and it claimed it was a fence we out around? It has big holes so removed the same night stopped working another tech comes and claims it was a shot-off switch outside takes it off. Unit stops working. Turn out after the 5th tech that the installers did not place a sensor the right way and changed the electrical wires ( which I believe was the original problem) as the new unit had the same problem as the old !! Do not waste your time or money with this company

I had AJ Perri come out for their advertised AC tune up and was told I needed to add Freon and replace the TXV valve; the $2k cost of the repair was at a point that it would make more sense to install a new system since my ac is nearing the end of its average life. The $50 tune-up was now turning into a $16k replacement. I hired another contractor for a second opinion - I needed no Freon and I do not even have a TXV. My system may be old, but it is working perfectly. They diagnosed that I needed to replace a part that my system does not even have and that I needed Freon when I do not. Look up AJ Perri fines - clearly, they have not learned their lesson. SCAM ARTISTS!

I am compelled to write a review. I rarely do this. In fact, I do not do it. Time does not permit me, but I am so extremely pleased with their professionalism... from the office staff up to the field technician guy, Danny. He is such a sweetheart! He did an exceptional job clearing my sewer line. A.J. Perri, could you please give Danny a promotion? I told others about my problem and the quick fix Danny did. They immediately asked me for A.J. Perris contact information. I will definitely recommend A.J. Perri to anyone and also negotiate for Danny to have an end of year bonus (that is how pleased I am with their work)

I hired AJ Perri because of the low water pressure in a shower. The AJ mechanic said it was caused by a bad Moen cartridge. The price to replace this part was $440. A total rip-off since the part cost about $50. The plumber replaced the Moen cartridge and the problem was not fixed. He said it was probably caused by the *stops* and he would have to order them. The *stops* came and a different mechanic came but the wrong part was ordered. I questioned how the *stops* could cause this problem and he agreed that they could not. I suggested a possible blockage in the riser pipe to the drop fitting and he said no, that is never a problem. So he re-ordered new *stops* but said that the entire faucet would probably need changing at a cost of over $2200. I told him that was ridiculous and he should order the *stops*. The new *stops* came in and a new mechanic showed up. He reluctantly replaced the *stops* but the problem of low water pressure still existed. I mentioned the riser pipe to the drop valve and he said no, it must be the entire valve. I told him the valve was only 15 years old but he insisted it must be the valve. I paid the balance and sent him on his way - never fixing the problem. That night I decided to fix the problem myself on the premise that it must be the riser pipe to the drop fitting. I removed the Moen cartridge and with an air compressor at the drop fitting, I blew out the riser pipe. AND GUESS WHAT - IT FIXED THE PROBLEM... So to all 3 mechanics who claimed over 30 years of experience - YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO COMMON SENSE - when you replace the movable parts of a faucet and it has not fixed the problem - use some logic and look beyond the valve. There is no way a Moen valve would go bad after only 15 years of service. So to the crew of AJ Perri I ask, were you trying to generate more income by wanting to replace the entire valve at over $2200. The moral of this story is do not hire AJ Perri unless you want to pay and never get the problem fixed.

Nick Ludlow serviced the furnace today. I've used Nick in the past and he's the best. He repaired several parts to help with condensation on the side of the furnace to help with the overall furnace ability. He was professional at all areas. I highly recommend him at AJ Perri. He is also kind and remembers all about the work he had sone each time he comes for my service contract.

We had a clogged issue for our dual vanity double sinks. We contact AJ Perri upon our friend recommendation. Customer service and scheduling is great and convenient, they sent a technician the next morning. Our situation is a little difficult, the double sink drain goes to a center tee into waste outlet and it is behind the cabinet inside the wall, and without a cleanout. So it is very difficult to make the snake go into the tee. The technician tried about half an hour and could not get the snake into the center outlet. After he left, we are frustrated and called the office, and representative was very friendly and immediately passed our message to the regional manager who was in a meeting. The manager called us back soon after and listened us patiently and schedule their most experienced technician (Daniel Longo) right away. Danny came the next day and cleared the drain within 5 minute. And the manager only charged us for the cost of one visit. I would recommend anyone to use AJ Perri (at least in New Jersey), their management is great and very amiable, of course, the skills of each technician may vary which is normal, but great company and management can fix issues if arisen. AJ Perri is such company with great management. One more thing, if you have a drainage problem, call AJ Perri and ask for Danny Longo, and you can consider the problem is solved already.

Their technician tried to sell a $199 video inspection program and I said no since I am the one to pay the bill. I asked them to just unclog it. Their guy threatens me their machine can damage the main sewage pipe without video first. I asked, do you have business insurance in case you damaged the home of a customer? He said no, and asked me to sign a waive paper before doing it. I signed. However, he still pulled out the video and recorded inside the pipe without charging me, and told my tenant how bad it looks. I asked for the record and he refused. Then talked to my tenant privately, exchanged something. My tenant filed complaints in the city inspection department. After city official called me asking for a licensed plumber report on the condition of the sewage line and if the line is not currently operating in the manner it was designed to do. I called AJ Perri for their report, the manager said they did not have it besides the invoice they gave me before, but said they can send another contractor to video the line again without charging for the report. The next day their contractor came and video the line, says I need to replace the external line for $10,856.00, with an additional $4,325.00 for the in-house trap. I asked if the sewage line is functional as it was designed now, he refused to answer. I called the manager again and he said he can not write any report if I want their video, $199. Because the city gave me very little time for the sewage function report, they pressed me to replace the line tomorrow and give me a little discount. (High-pressure sale practice). They talked to my tenant privately again even though I asked them not to. They tried to use the tenant to press me. I called my lawyer afterward and he recommended I do not use AJ Perri to get an independent report. I arranged one for the next day, with the city inspector on-site. It passed all inspections with various tests. AJ Perri uses tenant to press the landlord on service not needed, enlarge the problem, cause tension and damage. They tried to press me to buy their $10,000 - $15,000 unneeded service. I had to go through another licensed contractor, lawyer, city inspector for just a sewage clog problem!!! Do not use this company at a rental house because they know how to use a tenant to press the landlord.

I am a regular AJ Perrie customer for plumbing and other issues in my home, so thought Ii would call them for my AC issue as well. It was clearly a huge mistake. There were several issues with the visit 1. Given the coronavirus situation rite now, AJ Perrie claims that all their professionals strictly follow the precautions. The professional that came to my house did not care much to take precautions, he was constantly either taking off his mask or pulled it down. He was not wearing gloves when he came into the house and touched around. I told him I can give him gloves if he needs, he then took them out of his pocket and put them on 2. He was extremely rude and did not care much to answer my questions. Most of his answers were I do not know. In general he was very rude 3. He was constantly trying to sell me additional expensive services and was not happy when I did not take the bait 4. He said the ac refrigerant is low, but I could clearly tell that his equipment was not working well, he was constantly tinkering with it to make it work. When I asked him how low was the ac refrigerant, he said I do not know . He did not give me a quote, just gave me a per pound price of $141.50, which was double the price of what other service companies charge. 5. He was not giving me a clear estimate; I asked him a couple of times, how many pounds would be needed, and he said may be 3 pounds. If he does not know how low the ac refrigerant and claimed that there was no way to toll, then how would he know that 3 pounds was needed. 6. After he filled the ac refrigerant, he said 3 pounds was filled. 7. Additionally, at first, he was not telling me what other charges would be included. I asked him couple of times, then ne mentioned that a trip charge of $89 would be included. When I made the appointment with AJ Perrie, I was told that the trip charge would be waived if service was performed. Their website says the same. When I mentioned that to the service guy, he seemed very upset and rudely tried to dismiss it by saying, â no, the charge will not be waived In the end he ripped me off by charging me $450 just for filling the ac refrigerant. I am extremely disappointed by AJ Perrie. I will NEVER use them again and advise all my friends and family to NEVER use these cheats again!

I have used this company for many years to service my AC/Heating/stand-by generator. The technician, Joe Miller, was very knowledgeable and professional when diagnosing an obscure problem with my Rheem furnace - faulty control board. He was able to expedite delivery of a replacement. Joe Miller represents all the service technicians who represent this wonderful company.
