Perfect! John the owner was there working with his crew. They were friendly, professional and completed the job quickly and with great care. Quality of work excellent! They also took all the debris. April in the office was pleasant, and more than happy to work with us. Would absolutely use them again and "wood" definitely recommend them to family and friends.

The services provided by Stanch's was phenomenal. They were quick to respond and schedule an appointment for us and were literally 1/3 of the price of local competitors. They did an excellent job and were in and out so fast you could barely tell they were there. Excellent service from start to finish!

I did not consult Angie's list in contacting this provider since they removed a tree from my front yard several years ago and I was very pleased with the service so it was on that basis that I again called for this job. The section of tree was on a mutitrunked tree that was in my neighbors backyard located near the property line and had grown over my house. I have a stockade fence around my backyard and only a 4 ft gate for access to the area where the tree was located. I thought that a section of the fence would have to be removed so the lift could access the tree. I was amazed when I was told that they had a lift they called the spider that would fit through the narrow gate and still be able to reach the top of the tree. The crew arrived when scheduled and I watched with as they completed every aspect of the job with a great deal of care and professionalism. The crew operated like a well oiled machine and they left my backyard cleaner than when they arrived.

This company did a great job for us. We had one huge tree that had power and phone lines running through it and it was right next to our house. They had the right equipment and clearly the right people to do the job safely and correctly. They were a little higher in price but when you see the equipment and crew you'll understand why. They produced their insurance paperwork and showed up on time, ready to go. Work was timely and exactly as promised. No games with the price, it was exactly as quoted. I would definitely call them again if needed.

I didn't use this provider and I went with another tree company as their price was better. Stanchs was very responsive to my inquiry.

I was amazed at the speed of John Stanch and his 2 crew members. To watch them work was to witness professionals at their craft. They wore company shirts and the appropriate personal protective equipment for safety. Their equipment (chipper, saws, stump grinder, trucks) was modern and up to date. Their remote controlled stump grinder was amazing, powered by a 70 HP turbo diesel motor, I was mesmerized watching it. The investment Stanch's has made in equipment (Mr. Stanch says over $2,000,000) allows them to do tough jobs quickly and safely. Everyone on the job displayed the skill with their tools that only comes with experience. Prior to the job all my questions were answered and a certificate of insurance was provided. Stanch's also beat their competition (also from Angie's list) on price Great Experience. Thanks John!

They were very easy to deal with. They were on time for all meetings, communicated well and were professional.

I called two companies highly rated by Angie's List. Stanch's came on the second day and their estimate was 35% higher. I wanted two trees removed from my property and one removed from my mother's (1 mile away). The first service, who gave me the lower estimate the day before, had no problem going to both properties and giving me an estimate, which he did immediately. When Stanch's arrived, the man (who said he was the owner's father) was very friendly and talkative. I showed him the trees and he said, "Oh, you'll have to remove the poison ivy from them before we can come out and remove the trees." The day before, there was no such request. In fact, the man (from KC Tree Service) said, "Oh, yeah, I can see why you want those trees removed, with all of that poison ivy. That will be gone, and the ivy that has grown on the ground around it will dry up in the sun." I said I also wanted an estimate for my mother's tree. The estimator from Stanch's replied, "I don't have much time. I haven't even had breakfast yet. When you get rid of the poison ivy, give us a call." What?? He made the appointment time, so he couldn't take care of his breakfast beforehand? He gave me his card with the estimate written on it. Needless to say, I went with KC. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, since others have rated them highly.

They were very reasonable and efficient. Check out all the services and get estimates from everyone. They asked what everyone was charging and gave us a lot lower estimate. They were very good.

They had unique equipment, that could get through our fencing and get through narrow spaces. They were reasonably priced and competent.
