David came for his initial appointment and replaced the water supply valve and line on my powder room toilet. He was on time, polite, and he was even nice to my yorkie who pestered him constantly. That appointment went well and I was instructed that if I had any problems with anything he replaced, he would return and remedy any issues because he guarantees his work. A few weeks later I was unable to turn the valve off so I thought it was malfunctioning. He returned the day after I called him and was able to fix it. Turns out, it was not broken. I was just weak! He replaced it anyway and even removed the old toilet that was not in the scope of his work. As a single female home owner, I get worried about being taken advantage of and cheated by contractors who work in my home. David was professional and did not make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. I'd hire him again without question.

It went perfectly. Very pleased with him showing up when he said he would. He was right on time and it worked very well for me and my schedule.

It went very well. We were very pleased.

project 1 : We remodeled 2 bathrooms in our house. David was responsible for the plumbing of bathroom 2, and he did replace all the old piping in the 1st bathroom too, which were left untouched by the other remodeler (which we had contracted to Lowe's). He did show us the state of the old pipes. If we had not replaced we would have had to remove them at additional cost soon. The pipe change was a real money saver. No more backed up drain pipes. Project 2 : background: Our house is old so all the sewage water goes to a large sump area, from where it is pumped into the sewage lines via a sewage extractor. When sandy visited, we could not use the bathroom and hence had to move to a hotel. Also during summer of 2013, the sewage extraction system conked on us, leaving our basement flooded with sewage water. My wife and me mopped all the dirt water out. We asked David to re-route the waste water pipes at our house direct to the public sewage lines. He did a extremely wonderful job at reasonable price. As a result the value of the house has also appreciated. This work is very tough, needs good design sense and most of the other contractors turned it down, or quoted out of our reach. We are extremely happy. Project 3 : Our house heating system (boiler) was in terrible condition. The heating bill was sky high and we were all cold. David installed valves, pump, sensors and extra heating elements over a period of 2 years such that the heating is low and the house is really toasty. The boiler now looks like r2d2 (the robot) but we love the well heated house. We are extremely satisfied.

The job went very well overall. In addition to completing the work requested, Dave took the time to review some other future work and give me ballpark pricing on running gas lines for a stove and a fireplace. He also made some recommendations--have my previously installed HWH permitted and inspected if not done (something frequently overlooked when replacing), look into replacing my main water shutoff valve.
