The contractor arrived on time and I explained what I needed. I had a leak on the rear roof were a dish satellite was at one time during the winter it was blown over and where it was connected to the roof were three holes. I also need another dish on the front roof removed and new shingles put down. I also had a problem where the front roof meets the drain there was a gap between the roof flashing and the gutter and the water would run down the side of the house. First off before he even went up on the roof he asked question regarding the age of the roof told him about 15 years, told him new roof with a 25 year guarantee told me not all shingles live up to their live up to their guarantee. He goes up on the roof and he comes down and tells me we can start tomorrow he tells me that he has to do this and that and it would cost 2800 dollars he gives no written estimate I tell him I'll let him know about 1 hour later he calls back and says he will reduce the price to 2500 at that point I was not interested in using this contractor. As far as I am concerned he inflated the price for the job and he was telling me things that needed to be fixed that truly didn't. Homeowners beware!

Called this contractor on 3-22-14 and arranged a 12:00 Noon appointment for a estimate for my roof, he never showed up! Did not even call me to reschedule or to say he could not come...

their communication, work ethic, and quality was impressive. they worked through some cold days this winter, and completed the job ahead on schedule. an excellent experience. they are my first call for any further work. i recommend that anyone needing home repairs to give them a call. their services and communication far exceeds other contractors i asked to bid on my job.

He was the only response on Sunday afternoon to return my call and show up to review job. He returned Monday morning at 9:00, but not with all materials needed. He returned, completed job that day. He gave a 1 year guarantee to the work. He also called 11/7 to see if job was still satisfactory.

Picked up the phone after 10pm on a Friday, came out early the following morning, told me all the things I needed done, and was willing to do the job the same day, although I had mentioned previously that was not a good day. He verbally quoted a price, and said he could have the job done by the time I returned, since I was going out. Did not provide a business card or written edtimate.The next estimate I got was $1k less and i was told that the things he recommended be done were not needed.

We had signs of water coming in and when I called B & A Roofing the owner, Mike Samiel, came out that same day. He asked if I had a ladder because he wouldn't be able to bring one since he was driving over on his way from somewhere. I have a tall ladder so it wasn't a problem. He arrived almost on time; he climbed up and quickly identified the problem as holes near the chimney. He pointed out the poor condition of the flashing. Since I couldn't get up to see it myself, he took a photo with his phone and showed me. After discussing what he would do to fix it - removing the old flashing and adding new stuff so water couldn't seep in - we agreed upon a price and scheduled them to come out the following day. Mike came across as a bit of a salesman, but also as someone who knew what he was doing. The next day he showed up on time with one of his workers and they got to work. He noticed the bad condition of our other chimney (I knew the stones were loose and a couple were missing but had been putting off the repair) and we discussed what could be done about it. After agreeing upon a price, he left with one of the stones and purchased a box of stones closely matching it. I asked about fixing a gutter which was crooked and draining water in an awkward way for months, and he agreed to simply readjust and fasten it as part of the job. When they were done he offered to sell us the remaining chimney stones. While I wasn't sure we would need them, he offered them at a low enough price that I figured it could be worth it since they could come in handy. Overall it was a good experience. I'll use them again for any roofing related repair and maybe even for some other work around the house since they seem to do a variety of home improvement judging by the web site.

Work was completed in a timely fashion. Additional work was shown to be needed, and Mike completed this work without charging us any additional money. Mike is very personable and easy to deal with. He works seven days a week in order to accommodate his customers.We hired him because he is a local business owner and offers a 5 year warranty on materials and labor.

Mike came over almost immediately and was very knowledgeable about what had to be done. The price was agreed upon and the workers showed up the next day and completed the job in two days to my satisfaction. I would use again was a pleasure to deal with.

Michael was very polite and prompt and arrived promptly to assess the damage. His recommendations for repair were exactly what I expected in both cost and scope of work. I was very pleased that he was able to complete the work that same day so that I didn't have to take additional time off from my job. I will definitely be calling him again for future projects.

He spent time talking to us but didn’t want give a quote. When I said I had one, he said, “Oh! I want to see it”, so I said, “Oh! I don’t know where it is and I am disorganized and I can’t get it” because I felt weird about that. As we talked more he said he would match it so I finally took his iphone and copied it but felt strange. He is a nice guy. I feel he needs more experience but he is a nice person.

Mike and his team did a thorough job repairing the foundation in my kitchen. His price was reasonable and he finished the job sooner than expected.

Mike and worker were prompt and efficient. He actually provided service beyond what we had discussed when he encountered the problems up close. I was happy to pay more than the estimate for this. Overall a good experience. I would recommend B & A and Mike Samiel for roofing work.

Mike showed up very punctually on appointment. His price is very reasonable. He is a very nice person. His crew is professional. They did a good job.

Mike came and gave an estimate for the roof repair very same day i called-within a few hours actually.By lunchtime he had his crew on the roof and they were done before the end of the day.Very professional service.Very good communication, friendly and a pleasure to deal with...I would use him again in a heartbeat.and i'm going to i have 2 or 3 other jobs lined up for him to do-will report back in when they are finished.

Job done thoroughly and punctually. Owner was willing and able to accommodate my schedule and when I wasn't able to be on site he traveled a long way to collect the payment - a great convenience to me.

Called several roofers to get an estimate on repairing a roof which is causing leaking. Mike came over the same day and gave a reasonable figure to repair the roof. I hired him the same day and next morning, bright and early, he and his crew came in to put new shingles on the roof, fix a bent aluminum siding and paint over the water stained ceiling tiles. The fact that he was willing to do this on such short notice and also on the day of the snowstorm is a telling sign of how dedicated he is. The roof repair was done in a few hours and looks great. Time will tell if the repair works. It was just an overall great experience as Mike was a pleasant guy and respectful of a time owner's time. He calls when he's running late and doesn't try to nick and dime you like other contractors. I would definitely hire him again!

It turned out phenomenal. It was a pleasure working with them. Whatever they said they would do, they went above and beyond. I have never seen this kind of professionalism before. They were great to work with.

He did an excellent job. He had a great personality and did excellent work. It was like working with your brother whom you would trust. He saved me thousands of dollars and the house looks wonderful. I would highly recommend him.

His work is excellent. He was very professional. He came with a crew and took off the old roof and put on the new one. He removed all of the debris and he cleaned up everything, beautifully.
