Monday I had 3 Home advisors come out to give quotes BJ Tree and Roberts Tree Service . I choose BJ whose price was lower once I offered cash, BJ & I scheduled Tree and stump removal for Saturday and payment will be made on Monday due to the fact I live in NY and this is my income property in Newark. However, on Saturday it began to rain and I called BJ and advised I do not want him or his crew to risk their safety and I suggested they come Monday since we already agreed payment would be made Monday. On Sunday I received a call from my mature neighbor that the tree guy was at her house taking down her 2 trees. She put the worker on the phone and when I asked if he was BJ Tree Service he said "Si", once I confirmed I gave him the go ahead to cut down the tree and I would meet him on Monday with payment as we discussed on Friday. On Monday I received a call from BJ who said he was on his way to cut down the tree, I said what tree you where there Sunday and I'm about to leave NY to pay you. Needless to say we were both mystified, I placed him on hold and contacted my mature neighbor who informed me the guy who cut down the tree will be at her house in 15 minutes and she called to say its Roberts Tree Service. I clicked over and informed BJ, on Sunday I asked the Hispanic guy was he BJ and he said "Si" only to learn that Robert Tree Service did the work and they will be receiving the cash payment of $975. To further compound the issue is the fact that Robert Tree Service did not remove the stump, and the receipt they promised to email me as of this post has not been submitted in addition to the fact the I asked if they were BJ and they claimed to be BJ Tree Service in order to do the job. This is why I will never recommend nor due business with Robert Tree Service. Sincerely, Ms. J at 17th Ave

If I could give 10 stars I would. These guys are amazing with service from start to finish. They are dedicated and take pride in their work and they clean up the trees and dust .. just awesome and I will use again !!! 10 stars and in my favorites and contact list!

Robert's Tree Service did a great job cutting down and removing the tree. His staff was friendly and courteous and they cleaned up the debris. After the tree was cut down and removed, he advised he would have to come back to grind the stump, due to the grinding machine being repaired. It took a few emails and phone calls, but he finally came out to complete the stump grinding as promised.

Robert's Tree Service exceeded all my expectations. Quality work that didnt break the bank. i would recomend this company to everyone.

they responded quickly and was the lowest price and we made and appointment to come and do the work and he didn't show up and said that he had problems with his truck but that was after we called 3 time so they said they would be here to do the job three days after we had contacted them but finally came to do the work 3 weeks later also even though we verbally agreed that the price was including removal of the stump but when when they came to do the removal of the tree which was professionally done but said that it would be an extra $300 to remove the stump and that was not the original agreement but it was only a verbal agreement so then we scheduled to have it removed and he was a no-show no call and we stayed around the house all day waiting

accepted down payment but took them several months before they did the job. Truck problems. Finally came and did a good job for a reasonable price.

During the high winds before Christmas, one of a big tree fell on a little slope in my backyard. Carlos called me in noon and was expected to come by 3pm but didn't come at all that day and didn't call. Next day again it started to snow and when the guys came, they pulled their pickup truck in my backyard to pull the big branches from broken tree from the slope, which even my neighbor found unusual. This caused big depressions in different areas in the backyard and lot of areas with dead or no grass. i have sprinklers also, so i will know only in sping if something got damaged there. Carlos told me on multiple occasions that he will send someone to have the depressions fixed, but no one has come in last 10 days. I can't say whether i got good price or not, as he was the only one who responded my calls and it was an emergency as i had to go on vacation. So i have nothing to compare. For fallen tree, i was charged 1500 and for 2 other standing trees i paid 300 each. And they cut down 2 more very skinny ones included in the overall cost of 2100. i have lot more trees in the backyard to be removed and Carlos had given me estimates, but now i am not sure if I will use their services again. I will wait for few more days and see if he sends someone to fix it.

Robert came to my home at provided me with a competitive quote. He consulted me on some other ideas to consider as well. I was not home when the work was being done, but I am pleased with the end result and his level of communication and how they cleaned up after the job. I would recommend Robert.

Robert tree service was outstanding and very professional. There prices are very reasonable. On time like schedule, and did an outstanding job cleaning up. Would recommend this company if tree work is needed.

great tree service. climbed up there and worked out bad area of our large oak that broke up after a storm. After everything was cut down they removed everything from the yard, raked, and totally cleaned. You would never have known they were there!

Carlos had to move a 45 year oak tree from behind a brownstone, which meant each piece had to be carried out by hand. The crew was so pleasant and professional. Their work is excellent and I plan on calling them again. Great find. Thanks Carlos and crew!

They were very professional and they cleaned up all the debris and they did not request Money up front until job was done.

Robert's Tree Service did a great job for a reasonable price for a large project. I would recommend Robert's for tree removal.

Customers need to have flexible hours for work to be done. Rob ran into delays from other jobs. That said, he did a great job.
