The part was $250, but it had to be ordered. I am not sure if I am going to have them order and replace the part or just buy a new washer. They are always prompt and courteous! I highly recommend them! Even the receptionist is very nice!
Description of Work: They came out to fix a part that broke on my washing machine.

Called Maytag Co contact number for service. The call was referred to APlus Appliance Repair who contacted us to schedule a service call. Parts were sent by Maytag to our address in anticipation of the service. The first visit yielded a young tech who replace one small part and pronounced the job done. He arrived within the offered time-frame. We ran the dishwasher that night and it leaked all over the kitchen floor. (First wasted day off from work.) A second service call was scheduled for the weekend. The tech arrived on time, did extensive work on the dishwasher and pronounced it fixed. Like idiots, we did not test the machine before he left. When we did use the washer, the door was very difficult to close and it leaked still. When the door was opened, the seal strip peeled off the washer and a couple of small pieces fell out. Called APlus again and scheduled another service call (second day taken off from work) and the tech never showed. When I called the office, they claim the tech had been to the house, had knocked on the door and had gotten no answer; claims to have spoken with a neighbor and left a tag on our front door handle. This was surprising since I had been working within 15 feet of the door for most of the day. None of my neighbors recall having spoken with anyone and there was no note or tag or whatever on our front door. Our formerly functional dishwasher is now a glorified door stop. We do not mind working with a company when mistakes are made. We are reasonable people. But when the level of incompetence is this high and the representatives lie this way, our cooperative spirit will run out.
Description of Work: Our Maytag dishwasher was recalled due to safety concern. After contacting Maytag Co, they contracted with APlus to provide the repair service. The service repair was to replace a suspect part and ensure the dishwasher was safe to operate. BTW - we bought this particular dishwasher in 1997 and have had no problems to date.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling. We called A Plus Saturday night and were called back within ten minutes. Although we were new clients, Don P. came out the next day (Super Bowl Sunday), and arrived right on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Not everyone services Amana, but he does and had the part in his truck. I would use him again and recommend him highly. They service all applicances.
Description of Work: An electrical part that jumps up the electricity to the compressor had failed and the refrigerator had stopped cooling.

Perfectly. I called at dinner time, and he came out in a couple of hours. They diagnosed the problem. Then the next day drove to Harris Town to pick up the parts. He returned, and our refrigerator was working again within 24 hours of my call. He is reliable, courteous and straightforward. He also gave us tips on how to keep our refrigerator safe from power surges, and how to get our dishwasher running cleaner. Great guy - small business owner.
Description of Work: Diagnosed & replaced the motherboard and power supply on our refrigerator.

Terrible. These people are the worst, most unprofessional, and most inept appliance repair service I have ever seen.
Description of Work: Our Samsung refrigerator is under warranty and A Plus Appliance Service is their local dealer for repairs. The refrigerator started having cooling problems in early April. It's now June 20th and they still haven't put the proper order in for the right part in order to fix it. I have contacted Samsung and asked for a different service repair company.
