We moved from an apartment to a house which happened to come with 2 acres of land. We had no clue how to care for it or what type of trees we had. In 2007 Rick Close from Davey came out and inspected our property then provided us with a very detailed report and recommendations for both lawn care and tree care free of charge. We couldn't afford everything recommended. Rick gave suggestions for items that were in need of immediate attention and worked with us on a long term care plan that we were comfortable with. Four years later, we still use them. Periodically they've cut down trees, pruned trees, trimmed trees that were overhanging our property, provided leaf treatments to trees in distress and they continue to maintain our lawn. I again contacted Rick in 2008 when I was looking for recommendations for plantings in the garden and he provided his usual professional written recommendations - free of charge. He does an annual review of the property and provides written recommendations - also free of charge. If we can afford them, we do them. If we can't we don't! Paul usually does the lawn treatments. Signs are left in the yard afterwards and a note is in the mailbox confirming the treatment performed. We love Rick Close and Paul at Davey! We have one of the best, if not the best, lush dandelion free lawns in the neighborhood. It was also welcoming to see that the annual maintenance charges actually went down this year. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone - they are highly competent, totally professional, approachable and reliable. Next time we move - I'll definitely be calling them for a report on any property we intend buying - their knowledge is priceless. I think this is a service that should be advertised more and used as part of the home inspection process.

Very punctual and advice very good.

They are excellent and they take care of everything. They are prompt and very comparable in price however they may be a little more pricey but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them.

It was good. They are satisfactory. When I fist hired them they were less expensive than the competition. They do a good job. We had a problem with white flies and they came and sprayed for them and it took care of it. They have other products like a deep root feeding that invest in in the future. They come when they say. The give me a warning so I can get my cat inside.

They were about 600 dollars more than any other company so we didn't use them. They are very good and very knowledgeable, they were just a lot more expensive. They are knowledgeable professionals who know what they're doing as opposed to someone hacking down your tree.

The people from The Davey Tree Expert Co were good and they showed up when they said they were supposed to. They did the job for the price that they quoted initially and I had no trouble with them.

Rick (who scoped out the work) was professional and answered questions. Job was done as agreed to.

THEY SEEMED TO BE CONSCIENTIOUS. THE MAN WHO LOOKED AT THE TREE WAS VERY FRANK ABOUT THE SITUATION. HE WAS VERY HONEST. ONCE THEY HAVE SEEN THE TREE, THEY GAVE US GOOD ADVICE. THEY WORKED VERY QUICKLY AND LEFT THE AREA VERY CLEAN. IT TOOK A WHILE FOR THE STUMP GRINDER TO COME, BUT THAT WAS OK. OVERALL I LIKED THE EXPERIENCE.

THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT AND FAST. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF TREES I HAD. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

THEY ALWAYS ARRIVE ON TIME AND MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING LOOKS PERFECT BEFORE THEY LEAVE. THE PRICE THEY CHARGED FOR THEIR EXCELLENT SERVICE IS REALLY INCREDIBLE.
