Description of Work: Run a probe test in the soil...warning .....if you suspect your soil is contaminated, save your money and don't perform this test...it is a waste ....the only thing they tell you is approx...your contamination level

Member, Occasionally we are contacted by a property owner after another contractor has already removed the tank and the excavation backfilled. If the tank has been disposed of when we arrive we have no way to evaluate the soil, the condition of the tank or the degree of the release. Unfortunately in a case such as this, we have no way to determine the severity of the release and if it has impacted soil to the extent that it would require removal. Not all tank discharges require physical soil removal. We close numerous cases each year without physical soil removal and expensive disposal. Our intent is to not only evaluate the degree of soil impacts but also attempt to close the case with the NJDEP without soil removal, if possible. Unfortunately sometimes the tests indicated that a cleanup is necessary. Regretfully your tank leaked and the soil removal must occur in order for the NJDEP to close your case and issue a Letter of No Further Action (NFA). We are sorry you are not satisfied with our work. We do believe we took the correct approach in investigating first. As we said, we close numerous cases each year without expensive excavation. Unfortunately, that is not the case with your site.

I called for an estimate for an oil tank removal, they came quickly and explained everything in detail. They said they also install above ground tanks so I asked for that estimate as well. The same day I received both (2) estimates via email - Tank removal and tank removal with installation. I had 2 other estimates that were higher and not as thorough. They got all permits and stayed for inspections. They were really nice, polite, cleaned up very well for both jobs. The whole process was a breeze with them. I could not recommend them more and will refer them to everyone!
Description of Work: Oil Tank excavation in front yard, inspections, removal and cleanup. Installation of oil tank in basement, permits, cleanup.

I was happy with the estimate. I (inaudible 1:43:0 to 1:44:3). I will use them in the future. We were selling or home and and had already converted to gas. We needed to remove oil tank which was buried under driveway. I had heard horror stories about finding leaking tanks and what that cleanup might entail. I wish I could remember the names of personnel I worked with at Applied Service Corp, but everyone was so pleasant and patient with my constant questions and helped calm my fears about this process. The work was done when they said it would be, the workers were prompt, efficient, courteous and friendly. We had no problems with the tank having leaked into the ground and so it turned out to be a easy process for us. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. I wish everyone would run their business this way!
Description of Work: I did use Applied Service Corp. I have not actually gone ahead, but I did file a contract with them. They removed underground oil tank and patched driveway.

This company came and gave a free estimate and explained in detail how work would be performed. They even had to split up and do two days, one that had to be very early morning because inspectors for our town only came a certain time. They came on time and performed the work professionally and workers were very courteous. We would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: We had our underground 550 gallon oil tank removed and a new 275 Roth oil tank installed above ground.
