We call his main office and the person there calls him then he calls us to make an appointment. We have been very pleased with him. We have been using him forever. We've been very lucky that they have been very honest. He tries to fit us in. We have a long time personal relationship. The fact that he is still in business says a lot of that person.

We always felt that if you have one system on, but you don't have the other system on that it overworks the other system, but he said we could have our upstairs on and our downstairs off. It is nice to have someone who will educate you on certain things. If we didn't think that he was up to par we wouldn't be using him, but we have been using him for over 30 years. When he told us he was starting his own business we said we would go with him. We were loyal because of him not the other company and he hasn't let us down all of these years.

Ed was very nice and easy to talk to. He didn't mind me watching him troubleshoot the furnace for my own knowledge. He explained what he did step by step and it was a nice lesson. It turned out that there was a loose wire in the main on/off switch which I think fried the motherboard. He was able to identify the problem and fix it. He needed a new motherboard which he did not have on hand but was able to locate and pick it up. I think I got charged extra for that but that's expected. My only complaint was that I was charged for a full 2 hours even though he was there for about 1.5 hours. I would have appreciated a 1.5hr charge as the labor rate was pricey.
